I currently weigh 244. I ve lost 10 pounds since I started working out again. Is it realistic to have goal of weighing 190 by the 4th of July? Would that be a healthy weight loss?
While you may lose weight quickly in the first couple of weeks on a diet exercise program, it is healthiest for your body to go at a slow pace of 1-2 pounds/week. In light of that, to lose 54 pounds should take you about 27 weeks July 4th is in about 16 weeks. You ll be close, but be happy with the progress you made continue through the summer.
Eat only when hungry and that too not more than three times a day. Include uncooked fruits and vegetables in ur food. Take nothing but water in between the meals.Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This improves digestion besides activating ur brain telling u that u have had enough.Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.U will achieve ur ideal weight in a reasonable time period effortlessly.
Sounds like you are doing a great job as it is. The next thing you should try is drink LOTS of water. Water is the natural remedy of weight loss. My friend ate Salads, dranked Water, and Worked out a lot. He lot a total of 20 lbs. since January. This is really true...just google it and find out for yourself. :-)
You could do it! Depends on your dedication. Good luck!!
Sure, but you might want to see a doctor first. Ever watch the show the biggest loser, if they can so can you. It just takes lots of hard work and willpower.
I say instead of setting goals, keep a record of your weight loss. No 2 people are exactly the same. Also keep in mind that if you lift weights you ll put on muscle mass, which weighs less than fat, so your overall fat weight will be down more than expected. So yeah, try keeping a record, then maybe beating that record. The record will keep you honest with yourself, and maybe show where you re slipping. Plus then come the 4th of July you ll be able to tell people exactly how much you ve lost.
