Definitely routine sets of situps every day, you will see a difference. Also ab sits (hard to explain) in the shape of a V work wonders, and there are different variations ( chopping lets up and down, making a scissor-like motion, circles, etc). I think stack.com might have some good workouts as well. My high school coach uses it for all kinds of things.

Loose weight or loose size? I am guessing that you want your physical appearance to change more than your actual weight. For a quick, short-term change you could start with cutting back on your sodium intake. I know many people who swell when they drink too many sodas or eat too much salty food. When they force themselves to cut the soft drinks and salty foods (such as pickles and those convenient peanutbutter crackers and chips you can get from snack machines) out of their diets, the swelling goes down. And their weight drops a little. Just remember, you do need some sodium in your diet. So don t go overboard and only buy foods that don t contain it. Choosing water when you are thirsty will also cut back on the number of calories that you consume durring the day, which will in turn lead to healthy weight loss. ... Don t go overboard on this either though. Too much water can be dangerous, even fatal. 10 days should also be enough time to loose weight through a healthier diet and more exercise. Try getting more fruits and vegetables in your diet and cutting back on the higher calorie items. ... Have you ever considered seeing what it is like to be a vegetarian? There are also some cleansing liquid diets out there that can lead to rapid weight loss and are quite safe when done properly. However, make sure that you know what cleanse really means. If you decide to go this rout, you may spend a lot of time in the bathroom for the first couple of days. This wouldn t be convenient if you have a job, school, or other important duties that need to be taken care of on a daily basis. Sources:Watching what people I know have gone through to become healthier or loose weight. I have also personally experienced rapid weight loss through extreme diet and exercise changes - 9 pounds in 4 days from eating only homemade soup (unsalted vegetables and chicken breast simmered in a mixture of tomato sauce and water), drinking only water + 1 glass of milk per day, and doing cardio exercise videos 4 times a day. ... Going until my body said it was time to quit instead of until the video said time was up. ... I think this diet was a little too extreme. I have also gone through a period of loosing a steady 1 pound per day through eating whatever I had a craving for at breakfast, having a healthy, sensible lunch (such as a salad and a small bean burrito), and allowing myself only fresh negative calorie fruits and vegetables within 6 hours of bedtime. Within that 6 hours before bed time, I only drank water. Earlier in the day, I allowed myself water, 1 cup of fruit juice, and 1 cup of milk. ________Through all of the answers that you recieve, I hope that you can find a plan that works for you :) And remember that long-term weight loss can t happen too fast. If you want to continue getting in better shape, the best way will be through finding a healthy diet and suitable exercise.
michelle,i like your report about losing weight.i need to loose about 20 pounds, because some of my clothes barely fit me anymore.i need to lose weight!help me! Report Abuse
see a doctor or trainer at a gym to get a personalized diet and exercise plan customized to meet your goals.
wel the best way to lose weight, is to do a good mixture of both cardio and toning, and eat healthily. remember also that your weight may not decrease as muscle weighs substantially more then fat....so i would recommend taking all your measurements before you start, and then measuring and comparing them on a fortnightly basis. i think losing weight this way, rather than crash dieting, is going to take longer but the results will last. obviously it is more healthier for you body too!!!! a great cardio workout is 20 mins jogging/running on a treadmill everyday, as well as 30 mins on a cross trainer. i did that for about a month and dropped two dress sizes!!! i also did toning exercises too :D
How tall are you? You may not need to lose that much weight especially since you are young and still haven t fully grown out. When you stretch out you want to make sure that you have enough weight on your body. However if you do want to lose some pounds cut your meals from three meals a day to 6 small meals. Cut out all sodas and excessive calories. Also make sure that you eat something green with every meal whether it be salad, broccoli, etc. And don t peel things, the peels have natural vitamins and also help to boost your metabolism. Try these things and you ll lose weight over time.
u need to see a dr. if u r exercising that much and eating normal, u should be seeing progress.maybe u r not eating enough. when u r trying to lose weight, u need to eat. if u r exercising then u need to eat a little more. otherwise ur body will go into starvation mode and u won t lose anything.2hours of exercise is a bit too much.
What is your calorie intake vs burning? How much sugars you put in your body?Try eliminating all sodas, reduce salt to a minimum, avoid all cookies, or packaged cakes, etc. drink plenty of water, nothing else. exercise enough to break a sweat.Avoid all can foods.
You re going to lose it slowly. But it s good to start when you re young, because your body is more susceptible to change. Do these and you ll lose weight:- Don t drink any soda or sweet tea- Drink at least 4-5 glasses of water a day. If you can drink more, great, just make sure you get at least this.- Keep exercising like you re doing (1 hour minimum/daily)- Stay away from any sweets, chips, cookies, etc. That s it. It s not very hard, it s just the basics. Make sure not to starve yourself -- eat many small meals throughout the day, snacks, instead of huge big meals. Never skip breakfast, either.
what is this exercise you speak of? describe it.
be a vegetarian and think about what s the reason you want to be strong, like if you want to be a fireman...swimming is the best exercises but the water may has bacteria in there.think about a reason you want to be a WWE star or a good guy
i dont know your daily procedures...if you working or studying normalyy u can follow these tips...don t sleep more than 6 hrs..don r always lie down on bed on anythin...get up early morning, no sweat no weight loose.. try swimming or jogging or cycling atleast for 1 hour in the morning..avoid butter and oily food..have healthy diet, include more fruits and green veg in your daily diet...don t have heavy food after 5 pm...drink more water...avoid tea, coffee, milk...don t keep eating all the time...best of luck.....
Try doing cardio 3-4 times a week for an hour, such as running or going swimming. Next do weights 2-3 times a week for 20 minutes. Try doing crunches, sit ups, pressups, and lifting weights such as things you find around the house like cans of beans, or the yellow pages. xxx
go on a diet.. you must take self-discipline when you decide to go on a diet.. take exercise in your day-to-day routines.. and lastly, help do the household chores.. why not? you re trying to lose weight and more, you re showing sense of responsibility.. :)
i have some 20 lb weights that i bought to use at home. you could buy any size weight you like, and/or start with some push-ups.
For gymnastics you need the best weight to strength ratio possible, so while you don t want to lose muscle, losing weight will make the moves easier. To practise for a sport the best thing to do is that sport. To lose weight you should concentrate on reducing your diet and not bother about cardiovascular exercise. Cut down on carbohydrate foods, consume a higher proportion of vegetable fats and proteins in your diet, but make sure that you reduce the overall amount of your diet. Eating half size portions is one of the easiest ways without having to change anything else about your diet. If you can t hack that, eating three bowls of salad is still less calories than 1 portion of potatoes or pasta, so eat as much salad and vegetables as you like. Replace rice or pasta or potatoe in some meals with (non starchy) vegetables, carrots, spinach, soups, salads. While running helps for most people, gymnastics helps more.A high intensity gymnastics class will burn as many calories as steady state long-distance running, but you also build more muscle as a result. This means that between classes you burn more calories so I recommend doing gymnastic conditioning rather than running, for better results. There are a lot of power and explosive moves in gym, and a lot of strength training. You should do lots of sit-ups, press-ups, squat jumps, lunges, tuck jumps, toe touches, back ups, and very short sprints. Harder but more effective conditioning drills are bunny hops, burpees, walking on hands, and straddle presses if you can do them. (See this youtube vid for a straddle press http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QVhGtVH2C ). Stretching won t hurt either and will keep your muscles from getting too bulky. Also most gymnastic moves can t be done / look bad if you have poor flexibility.By summer with a diet and conditioning you should easily lose the weight AND be fit and strong ready for gym. If you decide to do a weedy diet and lots of cardio instead you will be disappointed when it comes to the power moves in gymnastics which require a lot of abdominal and leg strength.Good luck!
Go running as much as you can, eat at least six small meals a day and never consome more calories than you will burn. I joined a health website a long time ago that tells you what you should do, how many calories to eat etc. If you want the link send me an email if not good luck!! Just move as much as you can and do lots of stretches.

NO! do not loose weight. you weigh that much because you are tall and you probly have tons of muscle. muscle weighs more than fat.
The best way to loose weight is to burn more calories than you consume. Eat healthy food. Exercise for 45 minutes daily. Don t eat after 8pm. There is no fast way to loose weight. I preach this rule to my patients over and over.
Try a strategically designed exercise program combined with a good nutritional diet. The one I recommend can be found at www.theabdominaldevelopmentsite.combest of luck
