How to lose weight when im starving? -

hi im wanting to lose weight buttttttt... i am always hungry i try cuttin back on what i eat but i luv choc n pot noodles n stuff how can i feel full ?

You definitely should not starve yourself while on a diet because you will only be slowing down your metabolism. You need to eat at least 1200 calories per day.I��ve been on this diet now and I have lost 17 pounds in less than a month. Basically I have been following The Biggest Loser Diet and it has been amazing. I have realized that now I can eat more [quantity wise] of healthy foods than I could of processed, junkie foods. Now I am almost never as hungry as I once was. First, I started cutting out all sodas, sugary soft drinks, and juices and instead I started drinking anywhere between 64-80 ounces of water each and every day. Drinking your water ice cold helps you to not give in to your cravings. Instead of snacking on junk foods try snacking on fruits and vegetables. Fruits can take the place of sweets that you would have been craving before. You should also make sure to watch your portion size because you could be eating the right foods but just too much of it. A great weigh to burn calories quick and get in shape is to do some sort of cardio activity for at least 30 minutes everyday. Personally I would recommend 45 minutes to 1 hour of cardio per day. Another great way to lose weight that will also help you tone up is to start a strength training program. Limit your noodles, they digest really quick and contain so much sodium which may lead to high blood pressure.For one, try to keep your meals balanced between carbs, fat, and protein, and limit the foods you know you shouldn t be eating. If you still feel hungry, go for some water or tea if you know you are eating too much.

im also losing weight at the moment. I used to weight 20st and now down to 18 and half within 7 weeks. Ive changed my eating habits. What you need to do is eat little portions many times during the day. This way im making sure i dont over eat and eat fattening things during my lunch and dinner. You need to start eating fruits, and nuts as snacks in between. This will help fight the hungar and you wanting to eat a heavy load in one go. Also keep plenty of water with you. Drink all the time!!! Soon you body will get used to eating small but regualr amounts and it will stop feeling hungry and wanting a big meal instead. Dont let yourseld get hungry just replace that hunger with Fruits, Nuts, Water.The most important advice is to watch calories you eat in a day (fats, sugars, etc etc included) you will be surprised how much and what you can eat through out the day and still be lose weight while stayisfying your hungar!

Boil your water, it fills you up. Eat two raw veg. before each meal, that stops you eating loads. Ice cubes a cool to munch on :) Get some low fat soups as the are low in calories, and they are hot so they will fill you up. So, when you are hungry, snack on low fat soups which are like 50 cals instead of 202 cals idy bidy chocolate bars. When you are craving chocolate, eat a hot chocolate again because they are only like 40 cals per cub compared to the 202 cals in the tiny choc bars. You can eat loads on a healthy eating plan, you just have to change WHAT you eat. Pot Noodles are terrible calorie - wise and so is chocolate. Plenty of fruit and veg, small portions of protein and carbs are the order of te day but if you eat little and often you shouldn t be too hungry. Drinking a large glass of water each time you feel hungry really does work making you feel fuller so give it a try.

If your stomach is grumbling, don t deny it food. That s your body telling you it needs something to eat. But, wait for it to actually growl, not just to feel not full. When you eat, eat until you are satisfied - stop eating before you feel full.Eat foods with protein like eggs, cheese and chicken. It will keep you feeling full longer. The problem is the food you are eating is junk food so it blows your suger level through the roof then 30 or so min later it drops and you are hungry again. Try eating more WHOLE grains, fruits and veggies. Also eat meat because the high protein and low sugar REALLY will help keep you full longer.

Depends what age you are. If your like a teenager or close to be a teenager then thats normal because me and all my mates feel hungry all the time.Don t try and lose weight because its normal to have a bit of fat on you just do some daily excercise and eat healthyHope this helps x

Its just a state of mind, you need to keep yourself active and chnage your lifestyle and i promise you wont be hungry all the time. But when you do feel hungry just eat some carrot sticks or a piece of fruit, i know its boring but it will help you in the long run :) x

I know how you feel.Beef Tomato pot noodles...HmmHave 5 small meals a day when you need to snack just chew on a carrot, have a glass of water then brush your teeth, the water will fill you up and the mint on the toothpaste keeps humger at bay for a while.

don t cut out all the junk food else you might start getting cravings or feeling like you reeealy want umthin to eat so just cut out wot you can and do more excersise than usual but do somethin fun like a dancing class or kick boxing if you r in2 that kinda thinggood luck xx

milkshake and a muffin always make me feel full..sometimes people eat because theyre bored..go for a walk or something..so you have somethind to think about other than how hungry you are. or..go out shopping with friends..or just hang out with them

Eat the healthier stuff. Don t stop eaitng all together because it slows down your metabolism and it gets you fatter. Just eat salads and that, and excercise a bit.

I think you need to try to determine how many calories you need in a day just to maintain, then create a calorie deficit nothing too low. Then create your meal plan which you will space into every 3 hours in 4-5 mini meals throughout the day. Add in some excercise which is 30 - 40 minutes everyday and you re good to go.

The secret in losing weight with organic foods is reduced fat content to lose the weight you now have. I grew up eating organic foods and ate as much as I wanted, but didn t start gaining weight until I came to the US. If you can t find, say for instance, a reduced fat butter organic butter, then go with a non-organic reduced fat butter, lean meats, etc. I love Oive Oil, but it has 14 grams of fat per tblsp so I use Pam non-stick, olive oil base. Im trying to lose weight, but my mother also needs to lose weight badly...She has a problem with one of her feet which doesnt allow her to be on her feet for a long time and she uses this as an excuse to not exercise.I know she wants to lose weight but she get discouraged easily and when she gets discouraged, she goes on a snack food binge and gains back any weight she might have lost.Shes to embarrased to join something like weight watchers.Please, im scared for her well-being, I want her to be healthy, so if anybody knows any way that I can help her lose weight please tell me.

With her foot problem, your mother could try shorter, more frequent exercise patterns. For example, 15 - 20 minutes, 2 - 3 times a week. Obviously dont start with the more difficult exercises, that will just be discouraging. Bottom line, she has to want to lose weight. I dont know what is wrong with her foot, but I can almost guarantee you her excess weight is not contributing to good health, and it cannot be good for her foot. Do what you can to encourage healthy eating habits. If its not going to get you in trouble, I would toss the junk food. If you have time, look through coupons to find ones for healthy foods. Take them shopping with you guys. If mobility really is an issue, look up exercises that can be done at your desk while working. These exercises (for the most part) are all done while sitting.

You can convince her to not buy any junk food or anything high in carbs, sugar or calories. Like soda, chips, cookies, ketchup, coffee etc. If she can t be on her feet for long then the best way for her to lose weight is by eating healthy. You are such a good kid for wanting your mom to be healthier. If it were the other way around and you were the mom, then you could limit junk food in the house and limit tv and computer time. since you are the child and not the parent, I would say just try to help yourself and when she sees you losing weight, then maybe she will be encouraged to start trying herself. maybe you could try getting one of those excersise machines that are like bicicles. Those require no (or little) weight on the feet. The following is a tactic I used when I was a bit overweight (but not by much and this is how I got back to average) empty the fridge and all cupboards from fatty foods and if she goes out to buy more then give it away to someone...make sure you check every day to see if there might be hidden junk food. Hang in there, You ll make it.

I have had wonderful success with the Atkins diet, where I eat basically all the protein I want (steak, eggs, fish, chicken, etc) and lots of green veggies, but almost no carbs (no breads, chips, cereals, potatoes, etc). Snack on hard cheeses and beef jerky. Drink a lot of water and try to walk a little every day. I have found that my cholesterol has dropped like a stone and my blood pressure has gone slightly beneath normal. I feel GREAT.

If she is using the foot as an excuse to get out of exercise, ask her what her excuse is for unhealthy eating. Start on a diet. A lot of diets to chose from and some are better than others, chose one that she will stick to and as the weight goes down the exercise comes up

It s hard to say that a product will fix everything, but I must say, Self magazine is a great way to educate people about healthy eating and living a healthy lifestyle WITHOUT overwhelming a reader with heavy jargon, things to remember, or huge workout schedules. SELF taught me that I can eat a whole bunch, but that certain things are better than others to eat. One article profiles six peoples lunches and analyzes how they could change them or make different food choices. Many of the articles are about promoting your inner-health, encouraging readers that they should not make rediculous goals for themselves or get down on themselves for not looking like a magazine model. I really think this magazine helps, because it is educational and not hard to read or grasp at all. It has encouraged me to walk, eat more vegetables (with easy easy recipes so that I will WANT to eat more vegetables), knock out sugars like soda that just add on the pounds, and helps me to know what to order at a restaurant. But im not a dietichian but i hope this helpsBreakfast: Unfrosted Mini wheats with 1 bananas chopped mixed in or low fat low sugar yogurtSnacks: FROZEN grapes they last so long and really stop that sweet craving for ice cream or something. Fruits Veggies. I LOVE triskets but get the kind that are in olive oil they are better then the original s health wise and the fats in them are healthy fats. Dont get reduced fat. Its only 1 gram less fat then the olive oil and not worth it. I also eat lots of chicken and tuna. Brown rice or beans. Whole wheats and protien rich foods. I eat ALL NATURAL peanut butter every other day mostly and about 1 serving of it.Dinners/Lunchs: Tuna sandwhich, Chicken sandwhich, Tuna and triskets, WHole wheat tortilla with brown rice beans and chicken, Sometimes guacomolie. Try to have Little meals all through out the day. Thats what I have been doing and it seems to be working. the first girl was right for the most part but not with the snack part. you are supposed to snack dring the day because it lets your body know that your still awake and that your *matabolism*(sorry spelled wrong) still needs to be working to break down the foods. but eat health snacks so its not a lot of extra calories and fats.
