Stop eating any kind food, just drink water for a week so that you can wash out all the extra fat in your body. I did that to my younger brother and it worked. He lost almost 99% of his weight.

You CAN lose weight quickly for not eating. BUT, it WON T LAST. Its also not healthy for you to do that. You can only cut down your water in the body, rather than the fats in your body. So, its not recommended. Perhaps you can try exercise and healthy food. I myself also need to find shortcuts to get my weight down. There is a book called Six Day Diet Makeover that worked for me. It was $3.95 on Amazon.They have a questionare that you take to find your type of metabolism and there are diets to follow for each type.They say you can lose a pound a day. I looked at the reviews on Amazon and was surprised to see that the people agreed. I lost 9 pounds in 10 days and lost 21 overall. It really did work and I did no exercise, just ate what they told me to and drank LOTS of water.

Cut out all simple carbs including white flours, white pasta, and of course desserts. Get rid of all sugar in diet. One really good natural sweetener that s good to use if you ever get a really bad craving for something sweet that will not make you gain weight that even diabetics can use is xylitol (My personal favorite because it has no aftertaste and tastes almost the same thing as sugar except better). You can buy this from the health food store but make sure the xylitol you buy is not taken from corn. Another good one is honey and Agave syrup. Agave syrup is from a cactus plant. There s also Stevia to use as a sweetener except this has a bad aftertaste :(. All these sweeteners are natural which is good for your health unlike Splenda or Sweet n Low which can over a long period of time, turn to formaldehyde in the brain (which can kill you). Always remember to only eat fruits and vegetables, nuts, grains, and natural healthy sweeteners. Do not eat too many dairy products either. i ve found in my experience that the easiest way is to just replace the cookies with bananas. replace the ice cream with smoothies. you don t eat less, you just eat different. i lost about 10 lbs in 4 weeks. eating less doesn t help. it s like missing breakfast. all it does is make you starving by lunch time and you eat like twice as much. good luck.

Have you bought any Weight Watchers cookbooks by chance? I lost 70 lbs 5 years ago and kept it off.....I did not go to meetings. You didn t say what weight loss programs you ve used.

I ve found that if you are truly dedicated to a rigorous fitness routine, cut out the stuff that s really bad for you (junk food, fast food, fried food) then you will lose weight. often in some cases it takes a long time to see results because to have significant weight loss, your metabolism has to change. 1500 calories a day is not enough. At least 1800. Exercise is the best, walking for an hour a night works really well. If you can try to do 20 minutes before breakfast each day. Eat at least 5 portions of fruit and vegetables a day. Please don t cut out any food groups entirely but cut down your intake of carbohydrates and look for lower fat and salt foods. At the weekends try swimming about 30 lengths of even speed breaststroke. Don t tire yourself out though, because then you will just be less inclined to keep it up. Ok... as someone who has lost over 100lbs I have tried many many ways of losing weight (south beach diet,diet pills,starvation,ect.) about anything you can think of I have probably tried and I have discovered that the only way to truly lose weight,keep it off, and stay healthy in the process is a program that I use similar to weight watchers but it has many differences; I started it at my gym when I was a part of a 3 month ultimate loser program. The way it works is you take your current weight multipy it by 11 if your a woman 12 if you are a man and then you get the total amount of calories you can eat a day and not gain weight. Then you keep track of your calories on a daily basis and write it down. In order to lose weight you need to cut back on your allowed calories 11/12 x current weight. 3500 calories is equal to one lb. so in order to lose lbs. you cut back on calories and keep track of the difference in allowed calories and eaten calories. so for example if I am allowed 2000 calories a day based on my weight and I cut that down to 1200 calories a day then that leaves 800 calories difference. there are 7 days in a week if I were to eat 1200 calories each day and have an exess of 800 a day that would be 4200 calories a week which devided by 3500 calories (one lb) would mean I would lose 1.2 lbs that week. Now the key to lose weight the fastest is to do this along with excersise. Dont start out crazy and burn yourself out instead start out working out 3 times a week and work up to more. When you do work out keep track of the calories burned and then add that to your exess calories for the day so say i burn 350 calories at the gym 3 days a week I add that to my weeks total of 4200 calories so it would be 5250 excess calories (devided by 3500) = to 1.5 lbs so you loose more weight by working out. This is just an example of what is possible you can drop your calories as much as you want ( I would not go below 1000 a day) this seems like very little but if you choose healthy foods that 1000 calories a day can go far. You can also work out many more times a week then 3 but starting out I would take it slow so you dont get burned out and quit. The more you weigh the more you can potentally lose. I know it sounds like a lot of work and maybe a slower process than you hoped but in order to lose the weight and keep it off forever you have to do it the right way. although fad diets offer a quick fix it will not change your lifestyle forever and enable you to stay fit and healthy. I encourage you to try this for a few weeks... if done correctly It will work! also only weigh once a week at the same time of day.. wearing the same clothes or none at all... allow some variation for water weight.... I have heard that this program is similar to the one used on the biggest loser. I know it may seem like a lot of work but losing weight is never easy but totally worth it! Trying to lose weight quickly is usually unhealthy. Sure you can lose weight quickly, but you will also gain it back quickly. The best way to lose weight in my opinion is to do it slow but steady.1. Reduce the amount you eat SLOWLY. There s a scientific explanation for this, but I can t remember it. It has something to do with your metabolism unable to adjust if you suddenly eat very little for a while, then go back to eating normal amounts after you re skinny. 2. Exercise a moderate amount everyday. If you exercise too little, you won t burn any cholesterol, if you exercise too much, you will get hungry and eat more.3. Don t eat after you exercise. After exercise, you will probably be tired and hungry. If you eat, you will probably be sitting around or lying down after the meal since you are still tired, which will gain you some weight instead.4. If you decide to go on a certain type of diet in which you eat only certain types of food, be sure to take vitamins to supplement the other nutrition that those food lack. All in all, try to eat healthy. But Healthy does not equal dramatically less food intake. Eat healthy, and decrease your cholesterol intake slowly. I d say, reduce by a certain amount after each month. This will be slow, but once you reach your goal, you will notice that you can maintain your weight if you continue to eat healthy.

Eat first thing in the moring when you get up to get your body going. Eat more often but smaller portions like 1/2 a chicken breast 1/2 cup veggies 1/2 cup rice for a meal but try to get in 5-6 meals a day. This will actually speed up your metabolism. Alot of people dont realize how many calories they get in drinks. I only drink water/unsweet tea all day. Cola has between 100-200 cal EACH. Any diet that has you eating 1 certain type of food is bad. It will deplete your body of the variety of nutrients it needs to stay healthy.And as far as exercise just riding a bike and walk/jog/running is good for weight loss.

I found the best way to lose weight without counting calories is to just CUT BACK on what you currently eat. You can still have Mcdonalds and lose weight, i am living proof. Instead of buying a double cheeseburger value meal, try the kids meal single cheeseburger and tell them to give you water instead of the coke. I also cut out all the sugary drinks, coke iced tea and drank nothing but water. And of course you have to add some exercise :) I did cardio for 30 mins 5 x a week till i really started putting the lbs aside, then once i started to plateau, i exchanged 2 days of cardio with 2 days of weight resistance exerices, This really kicked my metabolism s butt into high gear!!! Soon I found I had to cut down on my exercise because even though i was eating like a hog (which i think only made my metab. go higher) i could not maintain my weight, i kept losing! After a year of quiting exercise period and returning to old eating habbits I only gained 10 lbs back of the 45 i lost, and honestly i needed those 10 lbs back, i started to look like a twig:) Losing weight isn t hard once you understand the proper way to do it.

There is a Yahoo group online, under Yahoo Health Groups OverweightCeliacs and if u join them they can help alot.U dont say your age or activity level, but yoga is available for all ages, levels and restrictions. There are usually yoga studios in every area, you can check one out, learn the poses then do them at home. Or try your library and look for yoga videos based for older people (which should be more gentle for your RA.) BUt obviously clear that with yoru doc first!! Walking is good but I dont know how that affects RA.If u can do any small strength training, but again, I m not a trainer. Even 2 lb weights can help.There is an excellent book, You on a Diet by Dr Roizen and Dr Oz (Of Oprah fame.) I loved it!For foods, just try to incorporate gluten free grains liek quinoa, amaranth, gluten free oats (available online.) and rice and corn. Why would you go on a diet your, BMI is good? That diet doesn t sound like much, an apple and a bottle of water for lunch is not enough to keep you going. You have a perfect BMI, I don t think you should go on a diet. Just eat healthy and exercise. Good luck!
