I m trying to lose weight and i am also cutting out all junk food and am only drinking water and crystal light! what else will help to lose weight fast?
First of all, congratulations for taking the initiative and actually achieving your weight loss through hard work and natural efforts instead of the harmful drugs that are advertised.Second, You definitely have to keep track of your calorie/fat intake and make sure to burn more calories then you consume.Third, do weight training to build muscle. Muscle increases your metabolic rate, thereby burning more calories even when at rest/not necessarily exercising.Fourth, as mentioned previously higher metabolism means faster/more efficient calorie burning. Some other ways to raise your metabolism , if even for a short while, is taking cold showers/drinking really cold beverages, using a sauna regularly, and drinking green tea. Hot and cold works the same way - the body is forced to work harder to regulate your body temperature so you burn more calories.Fifth, consume carbohydrates such as breads/pasta when you will be active since unused carbs are more likely to be stored as fat. Try to eat lean meat or a lot of protein to feed the muscles that you are strengthening.Good luck.
To loose a lot of weight get in-shape, and feel great all you have to do is do 15-20 min of EXTREAM cardio, every other day or in other words 3-4 times a week. What i mean is in the 15-20 min you have to push your self to you limit, instead of taking a light jog for 4 hours, but sprinting for 20 min you will increase you metabolism, and burn more calories through the whole day, when your setting doing nothing you will be burning a lot more calories because of this. Also of course eat healthy, and another great way to loose weight is to start weight lifting, b/c muscles burn lots of calories. If you going to start weight lifting you must eat lots of protein, to create bigger muscles
Losing weight = burning more calories than you consume.3,500= 1 lb of fatIf you expend 500 more calories than you consume in a day, that means in one week, you can lose 1lb. 1,000 calories a day would be 2lbs a week.Just remember, if you don t have a lot of weight to lose, it s not going to come off as drastically as it would if you had a lot of weight to lose. For instance if you re 100lbs overweight you could probablly lose like 10lbs in a week. But if you re not overweight at all, you d have to starve yourself to lose that much so fast, and I know you don t want that because it seems like you re trying to be healthy.
1) It is not about the distance you run2) It IS about your intensity and the amount of time3) walk/jog/run for at least 30 minutes 4-6 days a week4) around 60 minutes is good. I would not recommend over 90 minutes. At 2 hours your body is definitely producing Cortisol which will encourage fat storage/muscle loss.5) FACT Cardio AND weight training will get you better results than just cardio alone6) throw in a few days of weight training a week. And dont worry it doesnt have to be Arnold level hahaha. Just pick up an issue of a female fitness magazine and maybe get a subscription.7) If you dont want to spend the money on a gym membership then just go to any Sport s Authority or Modell s or even K-Mart. Light dumbells are really cheap.
You have to remember that to lose weight, you have to burn more calories than you consume. To lose a pound, you have to burn through exercise or life functions around 3,500 calories.I run 5 times a week, around 4 miles a day. 5 miles a day 6 times a week is a lot. Running is an extremely vigorous exercise and an extremely efficient way to burn calories. A 150lbs person can burn approximately 100 calories per mile when running. So as long as you eat a healthy sensible diet, there is no reason at all to not lose weight. I would try to run every other day. This will give your body time to rest in between, as running can be quite hard on the joints. Make sure also you have the correct footwear.Just by eating a sensible healthy diet and exercising on a regular basis you are on the right track. I know, as I managed to lose 48lbs in just over 6 months. That was 20 months ago. The hardest part is keeping the weight off. This is only possible if you stick to eating a sensible healthy diet and exercise on a regular basis. You are right to cut out junk foods. Also try to cut out ready made processed meals, alcohol, sugared fizzy drinks and takeaway meals. These are high in refined sugar and full of saturated fat. Junk food is just what it says - JUNK. With one added ingredient in - FAT.Try to include more wholefoods into your diet. Such as brown bread, brown rice, brown pasta, beans pulses. These are high in fibre and will keep you feeling fuller for longer.Try eating lean meats, poultry, fish, eggs, low fat dairy products, skimmed milk, non sugary cereals, and plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables,(including potatoes - making sure you keep these plain and simple). Carborhydrates are very low in fat. They are an optimum source of energy and should always be eaten in preference to sugar. So even when dieting they play an important part of your diet.As you have said. MOVE as MUCH as YOU CAN. EXERCISE will really help to acelerate your weight loss. The benefits you will get from exercise far outweight the effort it takes. Exercise will make your heart and lungs more efficient and your muscles stronger, as well as improving your figure and well being. It is very hard to say how much weight you could lose, as everyone is so different. A healthy weight loss is around 1lb/2lbs a week. It is possible to lose a bit more also.Good luck.
