Does Acai plus the colon cleanser help you to lose weight? -

I ve been hearing lots about this combination, and how it can make you lose weight fast. Is this true or is this a scam? Thanks!

Consider where and from whom you ve been hearing this nonsense. Certainly not from any reliable scientific or medical sources. Probably from completely unreliable and suspect sources like advertising or infomercials.Fat is stored food/fuel/calories you get rid of it over time by eating less, exercising more, or some combination of the two. Not glamourous, easy, exciting, or magical, but it works.

I don t know about the colon cleanser, but I use Acai and it works great. The first month I took it, I lost 15 lbs with a tiny bit of exercise. But even more importantly than the lost weight is just the fact that I felt great, I was getting a much better sleep, I had much more energy when I woke up. My confidence greatly improved.

yeah you can lose weight, because taking all that sends the body into shock, then as soon as you go back to normal habits you will gain it all back. This month it is Acai berry, remember when it was Hoodia? Its all a scam, eat healthy and exercise will be your best bet.

This would basically constitute rectal bulimia since you re forcing food through your system at a faster rate than it can be absorbed. This could lead to vitamin deficiencies. Just look at the Nutrition Facts on products before you buy them, go for low or no fat products.

How much weight do you think i can lose in two weeks doing the following? -

I know this isnt healthy but i am in a huge rush to lose this weight due to personal reasons so i just want honest opinions from anyone who has lost weight fast. I planb to be doign 4 hours on the eliptical and half an hour of weights a day and eatign a diet of approximately 800 calories. I nkow this is not healthy but its something i have to do. i was just wondering how many pounds you think i would be able to lose doing this for two weeks. With one day a week as a break from the exercise. Thanks. I know this is stupid but its what i have to do.

It depends on how overweight you are to begin with, but I d say probably 12-14 lbs in 2 weeks. Before you do this killer workout, make sure you do plenty of warmups and otherwise take it easy.Good luck!

by cutting ALL sodium out of your diet, that s table salt AND msg...by cutting all carbonated beverages from your diet...by not eating at least 4 hours before you go to sleep...you can lose ten lbs in one week. that s due to resetting the metabolism and proper amounts of water in your system. the second week will be more difficult, but hey, that s where sensible exercise comes in.btw, you can eat meat the entire time, as long as it s fresh. you can also eat starches. most people carry about ten lbs of extra water weight from eating all those processed foods our society has been inundated with.

If you add lots of water to your diet, and exercise, I feel you could lose about 12 pounds in two weeks. Good luck

Yeah, I would say about 12 pounds too. I would find it impossible to do 4 1/2 hours exercise a day though - good luck with that!

DO NOT LOSE WEIGHT THIS QUICK!!! You ll get all this extra skin and you won t be able to get rid of it. Take baby steps, you should only lose about a pound a week. Not joking!

How to lose weight off my thighs? -

I m 21, female, 10 stone 8, 5 ft 6.5. I go to the gym regularly and have been losing weight gradually over the past few months which i m delighted with as I can now put on all my jeans without opening them so shopping spree ahead. My body is completely out of proportion. When I do get jeans to fit my legs they are always too big in the waist. I ve always been the same. I do alot of running in the gym and do some cross training aswell. Any suggestions as to how I can get rid of some weight off my thighs?

The KEY is not Losing weight it is Gaining weight . A fat person gains weight much more easily than a lean muscular person because he has a low metabolism and the only way to change that so that you turn your body into an efficient calorie burning machine and boost your metabolism is to build muscle (And NO you will no you will not look like a man - that is a myth - women lack male hormones). muscle burns fat even while you rest and are sleeping. Also, when you build muscle, one pound of muscle is less dense and takes up less space than a pound of fat, but if you filled say a bucket of fat and a bucket of muscle the muscle would weigh more. So do not go by your scale because you may not lose any weight at all in the beginning when you weight lift (at least I didn t), but you will most likely notice your clothes shrinking - like I did! For your waist I would focus on your core - abdominal erectus obliques, and do lots of crunches. SO get out there everyday and start lifting weights (but only every 2nd day b/c the muscles need a day to grow and repair themselves). GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!

As far as i know it s not possible to target a specific area. You gradually lose weight evenly throughout your body. Also i wouldn t trust any pills, and if you insist at least do a lot of research before taking any.

Hi I m a new member here and all so I would say keep runjing strectch and have fun while you do. Do exercises about 10-20 minutes a day and see how that will help.

Well done on all your hard work, it s paying off.But have you considered that you naturally carry more weight on your lower half. There s nothing wrong with that, and you can make it work for you. Try experimenting with different styles of jeans. Maybe try a pair which sits closer to your hips than your waist, with a wider or bootleg cut in a dark color. And tops which are fitted (but not clinging) on your top half, in a brighter colour with a v-neck/scoop neck helps focus the attention to that area - which helps balance out your lower curves.Happy shopping

i got a friend who keep asking me all the time if he look fat......... as his best friend i try to tell him he look almost fat but ........ he s not so......... i was wondering if any one of u can give me an advise to tell him how lose weight ( with cream, diet and anything else )

Be there for ur friend,The way not to do it is starve yourself, to start with. Just exercise and eat right. I did....lost 90 LBS because of it. Starving yourself won t help at all. Drink more water, eat less before bed, and don t eat for stress are the 3 things I follow and i m going pretty well if i don t say myself. 90 LBS isn t anything like 5-10lbs so take my advice. tell your friend to just starve and sweat for a whole day and night, like sleep in a small room with the heat on. It s not so pleasent, but it s only for a day. Beats working out all the time. O h and remember, I mean tell your friend to remember to drink a lot of room temperate water.

Tell him you want him to join a work out plan with him tell him you have to do it.. set some phony goal to him.. tell him you need his moral support and him being your best bud you want him to help you motivation!!!!!

Obviously if you want to lose weight fast CUT CALORIES.Cut your caloric intake by half and work out like crazy. Take in just enough calories to get you through the day and drink lots of water while you work out. Pounds will melt off.

I second what Hi!girl said I used to be almost fat but then I enrolled in weight training and conditioning at my school and then played football and started to eat right and now I m skinny and athletic. Tell him to try it!When I say eat right that means eat but eat fruits and vegatables and meat and grain products. And don t eat all the time like some people do.
