Which workout is better? -

Diet and excercise of course.. because well, there is no miracle pill and no replacement for self reliance right!! lol Either I can ride my bike a few miles a day or I can take kickboxing classes a few nights a week. I want to lose about 40-50.. ok maybe more.. but for the most part i want to lose at least 30 fairly quickly, like by summer..eeee i know right! lolI am going to the grocery store today.. don t know which workout to do though.. and how often to do it.. Im a busy girl so whichever is more time efficient would be great... also any weight loss tips are greatly appreciated!! thanks luv to you all!! xoxo

i would definitely say the kickboxing class, since its a class you ll be paying for you ll pretty much HAVE to go, and a professional will be running the class so he/she will know exactly how to help you lose weight =]

It depends how fast and where you were riding your bike, but i would suggest doing both that way your excercising different muscle groups and also bike riding can be very relaxing so you d probably stick to it longer... and also having a day off or just riding slowly so your body can recover.Variety in your excercise is just as good as variety in your diet!yeah the treadmil sounds like a good idea aswell...and bike riding also depends where you live, i live in a small town with heaps of off town roads and so i can ride fast without really having to worry about traffic, it is a great workout =), but if your in the city it might be hard...

How to lose weight for a young teen? -

A friend of mine has a daughter who really needs to lose some weight. She just turned 13, and she is over weight by about 10 pounds. What is an easy to stick to diet that doesn t involve going to great lengths like ordering some brands of planned-out diets or cooking especially elaborate meals? um you should try bally fitness program it really works or if you cant afford that you should go jogging with her and give her proportions of food you can look that up on the internet just lessen the calories and do an hour of exercise everyday

Some profesionals on a rapid weight losss program will have themselves admitted in a hospital and hooked on IV fluids. I do not personally advocate anorectic drugs because many of them are habit forming and can cause depression when withdrawn.

If you cut calories far enough you will lose weight whether or not you exercise. If you stay under 800 calories per day you will lose weight.

You could take diet pills, or do aversion therapy for any food with carbs in it, etc. But it s important to realize that in order to be healthy, you have to exercise. It s been proven that the presence of regular exercise is more beneficial than just weighing the right ammount for your height (BMI is outdated though anyways, waist-hip ratio works better but this is just an aside).I would recommend the South Beach diet probably, but seriously, exercise some too.

I have been through it all and know what s it about. The main thing is to stick in there. You can t be an addict to food and never exercise if you want to live a healthy life and keep the weight off. I ve worked out, done every diet, and all types of classes.First, depending on how much weight you need to lose, your diet is the first concern. You can t eat 10,000 calories a day and expect the weight to come off, even if you are exercising a lot. Which brings us to the next thing. Duh, Exercising...This is a must especially if you need to a lot of weight. Get at least 30 mins of some good hardcore exercising. Do some cardio, in the long run, it s good for the heart.However, I find the most hardest part of losing weight/keeping it off, in my diet. It s so hard to keep your fingers out of the cookie jar or those chocolate goodies. I ve found a great addition to help any one out, it s a natural weight loss supplement called Proactol. No, Diet and exercise is not enough. You need strength training. Strength training adds muscle, and muscle burns FAT.

The best thing to do is stick to a routine. Just one day of healthy lifestyle won t have a huge difference. Start by eating healthier. Trade in the potato chips, fries, burgers, candy, ice cream, for vegetables and fruits. (Veggie chili, celery w/ peanut butter, dried cranberries, carrots, and the sort. Fruits: Blueberries, apples, oranges. Strawberries are good, but have a lot of sugar)For milk, try 1% and yogurt is a good snack too. Check out the nutritous section of your grocery store - you re bound to find a ton of delicious, yet healthy snacks.Do you have time do spend an hour or 30 minutes on jogging? It can be fun, and especially if you bring an mp3 player with you. When given the option to walk the stairs or ride an elevator, use the stairs. On a sunny day, you can ride your bike on a trail or around the neighborhood if you can. With just a little dedication, you ll go a long way. there are plenty of ways to work out. any outside activity like biking, rollerblading, and walking. best thing to do is start with a 3 min warm up of jumping jacks, then stretching. then start your workout. try at least a half hour of cardio a day along with strength training every other day. check youtube for workouts or check your local library for workout videos. good luck on losing the weight! you can do it just keep at it.

The key to any diet is exercise and portion control. Stay active and that doesn t neccessarily mean working out. Play sports, go walking or jogging, do something fun that is not sitting. I used the lean cuisine tv dinners for lunch, 1.75 cups of cheerios and .5 cups of milk for breakfast and boneless skinless chicken potatoes and corn for dinner for example and I lost 30lbs in 1.5 months. Don t try to loose weight if your still growing. But if you just want to become healthier have breakfast with alot of fibre, and a salad or sandwich for lunch. There really isn t much you can do to control where you lose weight from. Work to tone your abdomen using exercises like crunches. I ve also found belly dancing is a great abdominal workout. Working your pectoral muscles can help your breasts appear a little bigger, but there isn t an exercise that will make them bigger.
