Effective weight loss tips? -

I have put on a few extra pounds due to the holiday season! I would like to lose about 15 pounds. Here is the problem, I work 10 hour days then come home and cook dinner for my man and clean etc. Basically I do everything around the house because he works 12 hour days. So i have very limited time for exercise and while I try to buy healthy foods, I often have to just grab something quick to microwave etc. How can i lose these extra pounds with out much money?

Eat slower--your body needs about 20 minutes to know when it s full.Get in the habit of leaving food on your plate. This way, you condition yourself to not believe you have to eat everything. Drink green tea. It s a great fat burner and fights free radicals in the body, so it is an antioxidant too! Younger looking skin! Don t eat in front of the TV. Your blood goes to your brain rather than your digestive system and stores what you eat rather than processing it.If you have an extra 10-20 minutes (maybe while watching the TV you didn t watch during dinner), do some leg lifts, crunches, squats or whatever to get the blood pumping and the calories burning.It s easy!Good luck!

limited time for exercise is a problem... would you have limited time for brushing teeth, hair bathing and such? It just HAS got to be part of those things. It will help you get everything else done much faster anyway! Trust me.. you must move, dance, cardio, find something and stick with it until it becomes part of you. it is no secret, no tricks just a simple math. Calories in/ calories out. USE the calories you eat, period. I recommend the elliptical...watch a tv show that s educational at the same time and you ve got even more done :)

the best way to lose weight is to eat healthy. diets arent the best for your body and cut back in food. you need to eat proper serving sizes and eat carbs, proteins, veggies, a fruit as a snack and drink a non sugar drink with every meal. drink plenty of water! a glass of water before a meal cuts back on your foods and makes you less hungry. This worked with me, i suggest you get a nutriionist to talk to you. Best of luck and dont give up!

ok, you just have to make the snacks more healthy, like low in calories, avoid the elevators and make your self more active..trust me, it works. also remember 5 small meals is better than 3 big meals in a day..squeeze out a time for workout, 30mins or 15mins exercise will do..

Every body wants to find a quick and easy way to lose weight. But it takes time and a lot of hard work. If you really want to lose weight you will make time to exercise. Cardio is key. Run, run, run, run. Run at lest and hour a day at a high speed. And make sure to eat right. Its very basic information but trust me its what works best!

Well you sound like me :P except for the man part. lol! Well moving around more will help...like instead of an elevator use the stairs ect. Drinking water helps along with trying to cut out salt as much as you can. Smaller portions will help too. But the main thing is that you have to stick with it and have the will power.

1 Cut out all sugar.2 eat fruit for breakfast, a salad with protein for lunch, and a full meal at supper3 do not eat after 7 pm4 park as far away from wherever you are going as you can. Take the stairs every chance you have. Carry a small 5 pound ankle weight everywhere.

replace one meal with a salad and burn half of the other calories of each day on the treadmill, i ve been doing it and i lost 20 pounds in a good few weeks.

I find the best method that many models use it eat when you are hungry so when your stomach feels empty. And don t give into craving and work out at least 3 times a week.

put plastic wrap on your belly. it will sweat a lot and thus lose weight.

Tips on eating right and dieting? -

I m in college trying to prevent myself from gaining much wieght. i try to work out 4 times a week but I have horrible binging problems and late in the evening I always grab a bag of popcorn or something fattening. Any tips on how to control what food you eat and any weight loss tips?

Try to eat fruits and vegetables as much as possible. Take dinner 2-3 hours before bedtime. For example if you sleep at10 p.m. then take dinner before 7 or 8p.m. This seems very innocuous but it really works wonders when you are trying to lose weight. Take several small meals throughout the day rather than taking 2 or 3 heavy meals. Fix your timings for each meal. Often a signal for thirst is misunderstood by people as a signal for hunger so drink water as much as possible. Try to keep yourself engaged in different activities which will help you to take your attention off the food. As far as exercise is concerned, weight training is very effective to burn more and more calories. Running can also be very effective in burning fats in our body. This is because when we run, fat from all over the body is burned at the same time. Cardio exercises are also important to stay in shape.

I do have a suggestion for weight loss. My parents tried the 6 week body makeover thing, and it worked like you wouldn t believe. They had both lost considerable amounts of weight and size even, and gained a lot of energy. And i think they were on it like 4 to 6 weeks before quitting (time reasons). So if you need to loose some weight give it a try. I definitly recomend it. Good Luck.

Continue working out and try to get your friends to exercise along with you. Get rid of the junk and get some good food! Drink AT LEAST 8 glasses of water each day. Every time you feel like eating that fattening popcorn, drink 2 glasses of water and if you must, take a fruit instead. Try to do something to keep your mind off food, like reading or studying (without eating!). All the best!

Get rid of any bad foods in your apartment or dorm. Not having it around helps. Stock up on healthy foods like fruits and vegetables. When I have snacks in the evening (which I try not to eat past 7:30) I cut up an apple, wash some grapes and throw in a kiwi or nectarine. wow that is totally my subject you have no idea! lol. Well, to start... you need to love your features the way they are...just enhance them a little bit. Weight Loss? Aerobics. no workout machines either, they dont give results trust me. do yoga and pilates, because you wont get bulky. Youll get lean, long muscles. Go walking 4 nights out of the week. Get yourself a little dog and take him with you its SO much more motivating than walking by yourself hahah at least thats what i think. Beauty? first decide if you need to conceal imperfections (acne, scars, rosasea) or you like your complexion. If you have imperfections start out with an oil-free foundation that is one shade lighter than your skin tone. Next, get yourself solid powder in your skin tone. Never ever use the sponge they give you with the solid powder, just throw it out. You need to get a big blush brush from a beauty outlet and apply the powder by making little circle motions all over your face, staying away from your eyelashes and eyebrows. If you dont have imperfections on your face, skip the foundation step. Next, pick color for your cheeks. If you have a light or pale skin tone pick a rosy pink solid blush. If you are olive or tan, pick a bronze solid blush. still, throw out the sponge and use a separate big blush brush. Again, make little circles that go from your cheek bones up to the ends of your eyebrows. kind of like the letter L. Just eat healthy and exercise. Your plan is a very good one, as long as those are foods you enjoy. Don t deprive yourself or it will backfire. DON T do that stupid 3 day diet!!! That s WAY too much coffee and junk in there, and DIETS DON T WORK! Eat right and exercise, and give yourself a little treat here and there. The other poster is right, 5 SMALL meals a day is a great way to do it, that s what I do. =) If you like peppermint patties, buy some to give yourself a good treat every day.
