How a 14 year old can lose weight fast? -

Im a 14 year old male- 122 pounds and 5 6. Im going to join a gym over the summer ( if i can find one that accepts a 14 year old) but i want to lose some weight first.I think i have to much fat on my chest and lovehandles. Any advice?

You do not need to lose weight. You are at a good weight for your height - a little underweight if anything. Focus on building muscle, a healthy eating plan, and plenty of exercise.

Lol you don t sound like you need to lose weight 122 pounds for your height actually sounds pretty skinny, but just keep doing what your doing there s no way to lose weight fast, you just have to exercise regularly and eat right.

you dont need to lose weight at all, if you dont like the way you look just work out, but dont just try to lost weight, you should wait until you are a bit older to decide if you should work on losing weight

You can eat the Foods you like as long as you do not eat as much as you do now, ( I used to eat 2 eggs, 4 slices of bacon, a large amount of Potatoes, Toast and of course my coffee, for Breakfast. Now I eat 1 egg, a table spoon of potatoes, 1 slice of bacon, and my coffee with only 1 tea spoon of Sugar instead of 2 1/2, and if I feel like Bread I will have only one slice not 2. If I want a Burger I will have one just not a Big Mac I no longer buy Fries, Soda I gave up over 4 yrs ago, So no big deal there, For dinner I will have what ever I want I just walk away once I feel the hunger is gone, for snacks I eat Pop Corn instead of chips, Jello, Fruit, salads etc. If I want a cookie I eat one or 2 but no more than that.

Heavy cardio. Running or any really high intensity/high movement sport is the best, but biking, swimming, and even power walking will do it. Do it for at least 30 minutes at a stretch, and try to do it every day. Jumping jax will even help!Hope I Helped,:-)

walking is good, but it won t burn much calories to lose weight fast. You need to really change the way you eat, cut out sugar, carb and softdrinks. Drink just water and eat healthy including fruits and veggies. You can start off walking, but you should work up to running or doing something else with a lot of cardio- thats how you really burn a lot of calories. Good luck

One of my favorite exercises is to work-out on an elliptical trainer. It s like a cross between a stairmaster, bycycle, and treadmill. It works a lot of different muscle groups and it s low impact too. Swimming is a great way to lose weight too. I love swimming and I find it helps me stay flexible and stretched.

Being a trainer, the first step is indeed eating healthy. For the first week walking 2 miles sounds good, but after that you should start jogging and eventually start running. The more you sweat, the more you burn, the more you lose. Eat protein which includes fish, grilled chicken and eggs. Good Luck

I would continue walking but increasing how much you walk in a certain amount of time gradually for better results. Also, lets say you walk about 1 hour a day, you should jog the last 5-10 minutes, and give it your all without straining your body. Good luck!

swimming s a really good exercise, you won t even notice how long you ve been exercising.running works your legs really nicely too,but it gets boring and tiring, so be sure to get music or a tv in front of you when you re on the treadmill.

you have to do cardio: walk, run, bike, etc. just start off at what your comfortable with and work yourself up from there.dont do too much weights or other exercises that build muscle cuz then you will not lose much weight.GOOD LUCK!

well what i do to lose weight is i dont eat anything....and when i think about eating..or im about to faint...i eat a cracker and then do 30 crunches!

Will you lose weight faster if you wear more clothes? -

I was wondering if you would lose more weight if you wore more clothes while you run or whatever type of excersize you are doing, cause it will make you sweat more.

Yes that is a mehtod just like wearing a gertle, it will make you produce more sweat wich will help you lose a few pounds. Warning: Include exersize, and healthy eating or else this probably wont help much.

You wont loose bulk. you may loose a little bit more, but thats only because you are loosing water. That is only good if you are bloated, if you arent, then you are dehydrating your body with will slow down your metabolism and you will burn less fat. You will get headaches and being dehydrated can make you break out because the toxins in your body have nothing to help flush them out. If you decide to pick up the sweat pace, then be sure to drink TWICE as much water. try to drink a gallon over the course of the whole day. Just be careful, dehydration can be dangerous and is always uncomfortable.

If you wear like 50lbs of hot clothes, you would sweat and work out every time you moved, so yes depending on your definition of more you would lose weight.

I dont think so, But you may loose a bit of weight. I say 2 kg a month. But doesnt it make sense. You are wearing 2 or more layers of clothing. Unless you look like a skinny model then it balances. If your gosh overweight then dont you think you might look like an over grown penguin?

core or points? I need to lose a couple of stones by August. Which worked for you?

someone asked that at my ww meeting tonight , the answer simply is that they are the same .My leader said the only problem with core is that you need to listen to your body and able to know when u are full .I personally think i would eat everything thats why i do points that way ur not restricted on what you eat and you know how many points .My last time at ww i lost 3st in just over 3 months (my mistake was to stop going and gained it back wont be makin that mistake again) im on target to do the same this time .Your goal is totally acheivable im sure u ll do well .My advice is to try core for two or three weeks and then points for two or three weeks to c which you prefergood luck

Much the same really, although you really have to be careful about portion sizes on core. Points work for me - but I have been doing them for agesssssss! Two stone by August is easily do-able. Good luck!
