Weight question? -

if i just eat two fruits a day nothing else will i lose weight? will it be a healthy weight loss?

BAD IDEA. You will get sick if you do that. If your body takes in less than 1200 calories a day it will think it s starving and will slow your metabolism waaaay down. Eat lots of fruits and vegetables, as well as other things, your body needs a variety of foods to get the nutrients it needs (think food pyramid, it s no joke...though eat whole grains instead of things like white bread or pasta). avoid processed sugars, and exercise 30-45 minutes, 6 days a week. you will lose weight that way quickly (i ve been doing it steady for 5 weeks and have lost 20 pounds by taking in 1500-2000 calories a day) that way it will also be healthy for you and you ll feel great.

Is that even a serious question? You ll definatley lose the weight but it s almost like not eating at all. You re body needs a certain amount of calories just to sustain life. You d be missing all sorts of nutrients your body needs and this isn t they way to lose wieght. How long do you think you could keep this up. You need to make a lifestyle change. Yes, but you ll gain it all back because (and I know you will protest) you can t keep that up for long. I have been on again off again anorexic throughout my teens, and honestly, I have stayed at a lower weight by eating around 1000 (which is still low, but definately enough food) calories a day, and working out every day, than I ever did by starving myself. Seriously, I ve lost more weight eating a bit more and working out than not eating anything. You have to be able to stick to a diet long term, and you need to work out. I m not even saying this to you because its healthier (even though it is) I m saying this because it just works better.

I have PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) and as a result, I have a huge appetite that has caused me to gain weight. I lost 110 pounds over the course of two years and gained about 20 back in the past year as a result of PCOS and thyroid problems. I said all that because I don t need the just diet and exercise! answers. I KNOW how to diet and exercise. Right now I m in great need of a good appetite suppressant because I m hungry all the time.I took another pill (that I won t mention here) that gave me heart palpitations but did curb my appetite. Believe me, I do understand your frustration. I feel like I m ravenous all the time, even after a meal. It s ridiculous but nothing has worked to control it except Fastin. Unfortunately, it will also, like the pill that you won t mention, cause heart palpitations. I take half the dose and that seems to help. There s really nothing in them or too little of an ingredient in them to do any good. Your Solo Slim Extra Strength may be one of them. I doubt you re doing anything wrong.Here s my plan, and maybe something like this will work for you too. I take the regular dose of Fastin in the morning after breakfast. About 15 minutes before eating lunch, I take a pill called Akavar 20/50. It doesn t work all that great on its own but the Fastin that I took after breakfast is still working somewhat. At dinner time, I take one Fastin. So far, it seems to be making a difference. I don t want to risk any long term effects so I m taking these diet aids for about 6 weeks. I ll stop taking them for 2 weeks, then take them again (if necessary) for another 4 weeks. This gives my body time to get used to eating reduced calories. It also seems to be helping me in my food choices. I m not craving candy right now, or greasy chips. I m craving salads! Well, even if this doesn t sound like something you would want to try, I would suggest you at least try half a dose of the pill that you were taking and just don t use them long term. Good luck.

Exercise regimen for 16 year old girl? -

I really need help with a good exercise program that will help me lose weight gradually. Overall I would like to lose 40 pounds because I currently weigh 165. I need to know how often, what types of exercises, and for how long. Any other tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. ok i am 17 and very overweight! i m not too sure how much i actually weigh (i refuse to buy a set of scales until i slim down a bit!) but i do know i weight between 80 - 85 kgs. i havn t got a clue how tall i am but i am definately shorter then most girls my age. I am usually an 14 - 16 in most clothing and i use to be an 10 - 12.vI am hoping to get back to my old weight of 65 kgs. (and i do smoke but am currently in the process of trying to quit.)I currently don t have a job at the moment so money is definately a problem! so i can t really afford any of those advertised weight loss programs or meal replacement programs. Walking is a good place to start. Walk a little everyday, gradually building up the distance. Remember to take some bottles of water with you and a HEALTHY snack. Like an apple or banana. Try and eat less food. Reduce your meal sizes gradually and slowly. Your stomach will eventually shrink and shrink. And one day you will look in the mirror and all that fat will be gone^^. a lot of the time when people think they are hungry, they are actually thirsty, whenever you start to feel hungry have something to drink rather than eating,you need to do more exercise, walking, cycling, doing the housework, just be more active and eat the right foods, just three meals a day and no snacking.Its worked for me, i have lost 33 pounds in the last 9 months, if you lose weight slowly its more likely to stay off!

Hi, I am minakshi u wanted to know some useful tips on weight loss but before giving the tip i would like to say something that you have to first control your diet and eating habits.When to get up early in the morning u do jogging and pranayama for 15mins to 30mins.Take a bath then have some light breakfast like juice and i chapati.Early in the morning u take a glass of bottlegord and tomato juice in empty stomach.Avoid eating all white things like milk,butter,nan,khoya,cashew nuts etc.If u want to get slim u have to keep control on your tongue.This is a guaranteed tip because my sister is doing all these things these are all ayurvedic tips.
