How to lose weight!!!? -

I m 15 yrs old and really wanna lose at least 20 pounds. What r some things I can do at home to lose pounds? What foods should and shouldn t eat? I wanna lose weight by my stomach, and thighs mostly. Please help. Lastly, what r some workouts no more than a half hour long to shape up? Please help, thanks :)

Don t go on any crash diets. They are so hard on your body. You may lose weight at first but it sends a message to your body that says... I m starving.. so when you do start eating more your body will hold on sooooo tight to that food that you will gain it all back again. Better to just make some lifestyle changes in the way you eat... maybe cutting down on how much junk food you eat (if you do), rather than stopping completely. Yes, but keep in mind, just by living you burn calories. Go to http://health.discovery.com/tools/calcul�� to see how many calories you would burn a day just lying down and keep in mind that if you walk around and do other activities you re burning calories so yes, intake less than your burning.. but that doesn t mean you should run til you burn 1800 calories, that would be suicidal. USE more calories that you EAT.

Well, if it s any consolation, your BMI index is borderline normal weight/overweight right now (it s 24.9). I d suggest reducing the amount of food you eat and eating healthier (dried fruits, nuts, yogurt, etc. work for me). Depending on what you eat right now and how much weight you want to lose, what you d need to do varies. For me, I lost ~15 pounds in the last year just by eating less (relatively speaking) without doing anything drastic like dieting. Also, getting more sleep generally helps with losing weight (there s some scientific link but I can t remember exactly what right now). Drinking more water has also (at least for me) helped me reduce the amount of food I eat. If you have time to exercise, it s always useful to do that as well - jogging, running, etc. I d offer more specifics but I m really not much of an expert (going off personal experience) and what you do is really based off how much you want to lose and what you already do (exercise, eating habits, etc.). There s probably some things I ve left out by accident. I hope this helps?

You don t actually have to run to get thinner. Just walk fast until your pulse is higher thn usall. But, if you prefer to stay inside, you maybee can get a bike-machine (Don t now the english word, i m not from a english talking country). Maybe try to go a trainingplace or something like that. So judge how you re doing by how your clothes fit. Numbers don t mean anything! And remember it takes about 2 weeks to see a difference. You ll get discouraged because you won t see results right away, but trust me, do you ever see overweight runners?If you do decide to start running, buy mase (protective spray against kidnappers, and such) and carry it with you! I still do, and I m 20.some health food is chicken, fish, steak, veggies, fruits, dairy, oatmeal, and go for low-fat and/or low-carb items.for a sweet tooth: low fat vanilla frozen yogurt (add your own toppings); 60 calorie chocolate jello pudding (try different flavors); cool whip (Fat free)...

Just take it one day at a time. After the 1st day when you realise you ve lost even 1 pound, you re going to feel so good. Don t look at it like...Oh no i ve got to lose 10 pounds in a week. Just aim to lose a little each day. Do some aerobic exercise in your living room for 20-30 mins daily. Eat salads as main meals with baked potato, or 2 slices of wholemeal bread or a wholemeal roll. losing weight without exercise are crash diets because if you don t exercise you won t lose weight unless you don t eat.a fun exercise is walking around the block with a friend. while you chat you forget that your even doing this for health and it becomes a fun little talky trip! or passing a weight ball back and forth with a friend can become boring but not if you like hearing gossip or secrets! when the ball comes to you say something that you have done that is bad and if she has done it to she has to do 10 crunches with the weight ball, then it is her turn. or if she wants to say a secret and you already gossiped about it you have to do 10 to! me and my friends do this all the time and i have been doing these 2 thing every day for 2 weeks, also not eating junk and i have lost 14-16 pounds! NOW I AM 114! and i am 5 5!try these things and you will lose weight in 2 weeks!

wat i did was eat plain rice krispies and a bit of milk with coffee in the morning, regular lunch, small HEALTHY snack and tea at 5:30pm, and rice kriespies with milk again at 7:00 or 8:00 pm at latest. 30 min of treadmill a day...no to much if u have time.. lost 8 lbs in a week. its takes a while to get used to it so if you cheat a little, the most important thing is to get back on track. lost 8lbs in a week and still got calories and felt good! please if u consider this be careful....i id this with my parents watching..they were very concerne when i changed my eating habits like that...god luck!! comment or ask me if u have q s abt anything
