Im over weight does anyone know how to lose weight with out giving up my normal life? -

Im only 13 so it has to be stuff ican do in and out of school. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!! My guy freinds think its best it for my relationships wih them.

Everyone wants fast results, but nothing has been shown to do that without causing other problems. every quick fix pill that has ever come along has been shown to damage the heart or liver. also you cannot pick and chose where the fat comes from. you can t reduce your legs, stomach or hips by design. you lose weight, and your body uses its fat stores however it sees fit.Your best bet, and the only thing that has been proven to work is a lifestyle change. you have to begin eating right and start getting much more active. focus on healthy/whole foods like fruits, veggies, lean meats, whole grains. avoid sugar, salt, simple carbs like rice, potatoes and white flour. limit dairy such as milk, cheese, butter, and watch fats like oils.

If you find out that you really do have too much body fat, the best way to get rid of it is through a combination of exercise and eating fewer calories. Despite all the media fuss about low-carb diets, research into their effectiveness (especially among teens) is still limited. There isn t much evidence that cutting down on a particular food group, like carbs, is a better way to lose weight than just eating fewer calories altogether. In fact, no diet that drastically restricts calories or cuts out particular foods has been proven to keep weight off over the long term. One helpful change can be to cut out sodas and juices, which contain large amounts of sugar and empty calories.

First - check this book out - it is called The Dorm Room Diet. It is suppose to be for college students but it really has a lot of tips that anyone could use. Plus, maybe see if a friend or family member would like to join weight watchers with you. I joined at the beginning of the year and have lost 13 pounds in 13 weeks and just made little changes to my life and made a big difference. Basically you just have to learn to do more and eat less get dropped off further from school and walk some. Or take the stairs. And if you love desserts maybe learn to just eat half of what you would normally eat or find healthier choices.

Stop eating dairy , eat lots of fresh fruits and vegtables , eat fish and chicken grilled or baked instead of fried , whole grains , lentils , legumes , avoid sugar, drink lots of water or flavored bottled water instead of soda / pop... Dont eat anything after 7 pm excercise at least three times a week for at least an hour , you probabley want to do cardio for fat burn ...ex... elyptical, treadmill... walking will help but its not gonna get the pounds off quickly but its a good start if you havent worked out before...

Do about 30 min of cardio a day... other than that, dont worry about it... I know your young and everything, and weight matters.., but you will grow out of it, once youre older then worry about loosing it.

have a good diet habit and do exercise one hour a day, may be are good for you.

I d try running in place for about 5 minutes once an hour. If your at home or school and you are by yourself - try bending down slightly like your about to sit down. Do it this until you reach wherever your going.

Going no carbs for a couple of weeks will make the weight drop off, but it goes straight back on when you start eating normally again. (and you will go back to carbs, cuz no carbs sucks)!

Depends how much you have to lose...the most sensible way, and to ensure you don t put it back on afterwards, is to reduce your calorie intake and take more exercise. You should lose around 2lbs a week. However, I think you want to be losing more than that. The only thing I can suggest would be meal replacement shakes for breakfast and lunch and then a proper meal of around 600 cals in the evening and maybe fruit as snacks in between.

i joined weight watchers over a year ago and lost 6 stone .i lowered my portion size and ate more healthy but didn t do any exercise which i regret because now my skin is so saggy so now i have to tone up i hope this advise helps good luck in loosing your weight x

How to lose weight in a HEALTHY way.? -

Ok im 13 and i am now a size 9 and my goal by august is a size 5. I have been doing any where from 300-800 sit-ups EVERY day now for 3 weeks and have not noticed any results. i eat healthy and prob. eat like 1,200 calories a day. so does anybody have any ways to lose weight that are healthy and acctually work?

Hello :) ok 300-800 sit-ups isn t going to do much. Its about quality, not quantity. Also, toning you stomach isn t going to help your hips and thighs to go down a size (or 2 in your case). The best way to burn fat is to exercise by doing cardio or weights because there s such a variety of things you can do. I would highly suggest getting a membership to the gym so you can do the olyptical, stair master, the bike, etc. and they have weight machines for your legs and hips. Also, be patient! losing weight is a process that takes time and don t give up if your not seeing results in the first few weeks!! Eating wise you should eat maybe 5 smaller meals a day instead of 3 big meals, its a lot better for your body and helps you burn fat easier. But make sure your eating healthy too, avoid fried, greasy, fatty foods. and get your fruits and veggies in there too! Good luck!!(P.S some other at home exercises are leg lifts, lunges, squats, and wall sits. make sure you have dumbbells (weights) or else the lungs and squats won t be as effective. if you want just Google leg and hip exercises and there will be billions of results)

It sounds like you have a pretty good start already but you just need some cardio. The best thing to do is run. I lost 20 pounds in 1 month by running 2 miles a day and not eating any fatty or sugary foods and reducing my proportions. I also started splitting my caloric needs into 5 meals a day, this will increase your metabolism. Run?No offense to your or anybody else.The 1200calorie thing.. fine, thats fine.RUN... you re not going to lose weight SOLELY by just eating healthy. And i m sorry.. but I hightly doubt you do 300-800sitsup every day.You need to run.Dont let anyone tell you any different.Just go for a run.. start off small.. a mile, mile and a half. 2 miles. trust me... OK you are 13 and still growing. Not only should you not be on here: but while you are still growing you really should just be sticking to a healthy eating plan as drastic diets at your age may be harmful. You may just be at the right weight fr your height and build.

hi...! well since it s the summer break now i want to lose weight on my legs a lot before school starts because it s going to be my first year in highschool...lol...and i also want to lose weight on my legs in order to wear short shorts this summer...lol...so does anyone have any good advice or tips on how to lose weight on your legs...? thanks...! You cant spot reduce fat, BUT running is the number one to lose weight and tone legs. SO DO IT! :)If you cant jog, put weights on your legs and go for a walk. FAST paced walk.

You should do a lot of cardio. It dosen t just tone your legs but your whole body. Running/Jogging/power walking is a great way to tone your legs. Just be active. Don t drink Soda, eat icecream or any sweets. Stay away from fast food but make sure you don t starve yourself. You can give yourself a treat everyonce in while. Good luck! :D

You cannot SPOT train. you cant pick and choose where fat come off. You need to do cardio..Weight training those areas will add muscle and tone, but if you only do that the fat will stay and it will still look like a big white blubbery whale.

seriously the best way to do this is to run. It doesn;t have to be a lot, but be consistant and i guarantee that you will see results in a couple weeks. Running tones your legs and will allow then to slim down
