How to lose weight fast? -
It s not recommended to lost more than 2% of your total body weight per week, but if you must then (in order of importance):Assuming your body fat is greater than 15%...First, determine your daily basal metabolic rate (BMR) (there are website that will give you a rough estimate of this. Just search Calculate Daily Basal Metabolic Rate. This is the amount of calories you burn on a daily basis just doing nothing. -watch your diet: 50% protein, 40% carbs, and not more than 10% fat. Reduce the intake of your daily BMR by 20%. For example, if your BMR is 2000 calories per day. Try to only eat ~1600 calories a day. Now automatically you re burning 400 calories extra per day. This will work for a couple of weeks, until your body gets used to this change.-Space your calories out over 5-6 meals per day, if you can. Eat smaller, more frequent portions, but maintain your caloric intake.-cardio, cardio, cardio. To lose 1 lbs of fat, you need to burn 3500 calories. An hour a day on the elliptical machine, 4-5 days a week should allow you to drop a pound per week...preferably in the mornings on an empty stomach.-Resistance training. Lift weights using machines or free weights. Try to build lean muscle rather than bulky muscle by doing many repititions. This will ensure you re burning fat and calories even when you re not doing anything. It ll also increase your metabolism (hence, your BMR) and prevent you from putting the weight back on later. Do 30-45 mins per day, 4-5 days per week. -Drink lots of water; 100-128 ounces per day. There are websites which can tell what your daily water intake should be.-Sleep at least 7-8 hours a night.- when if gets closer to your event date (2-3 weeks prior), lose your water weight by doing cardio and reducing water intake.If you use these tips as a guide, you ll easily lose 16 lbs. over the next two months.Good Luck.

I can t really give good diet tips, as I am not a nutritionist. They ve pretty much said it all anyway: limit your junk food, eat lots of fruits and vegetables, drink lots of water.I would always suggest that you add exercise as part of a healthy lifestyle. You don t have to go to the gym, just take walks, skip the elevator and take the stairs, maybe watch tv while standing up (joke).If you do go to the gym, avoid using weight as your achievement guide. Muscle is heavier than fat. Use a tape measure to measure achievement instead, as your waist will shrink even if your weight remained the same.
Diets don t work. Even if they do, when you finish it, you put all the weight on again. If you want to eat the same diest food for the rest of your life, stay on it. My only tip is DO eat a healthy brekky (No coffees if you can help it). It is called the most important meal of the day for a reason. Accept and love the body you re in.
I suggest you to change your mindset first. Don t push yourself too much to get slimmed. Slim or loosing weight is a bonus. Just try to make your life be healthy. The best diet is the Diabetic diet. Think about it, a Diabetics meal has to be well portioned and many doctors would probably suggest this too. Too much of any one thing is bad for you. And you should eat 6 meals in a day, 3 large meals and 3 small meals between them. A dietitian could help you with this.

I love the Special K Vanilla Almond, and I have lost 20pds just replacing two meals. Any cereal would work I would think. You may also be working on your legs to much which is increasing your muscle mass.

try not to exercise too much on your legs, I know it sounds daft but the muscle with make your thighs look larger. You may be retaining water, try something with a gentle laxative effect like prunes, running is good for all over body weight loss. Good luck! xx

well, you didn t mention how much you weigh now. I mean, if you re actually overweight it ll be a lot easier and pounds will just drop off once you start dieting. But, if you re at a healthy weight and just want to lose vanity pounds it won t be so easy.The simplest plan is always the best: just cut your calories to 1200 a day and do at least 30 mins of aerobic exercise a day. do more if you want to lose faster. you can break up your workouts; for instance you can do 25 mins jogging in the day and then ride a bike for another 25 mins at night. That would give you almost a whole hour of exercise. Do not eat any sugary/fried foods or sugary sodas. Diet sodas and other diet drinks are ok. Drink at least a half gallon of fluid a day, preferably water or green tea (Which revs up your metabolism). If you re a coffee nut like me make sure you get skinny drinks that are sugar-free and have fat-free milk.you can take off one day a week from your diet to eat whatever you like. i m trying to lose weight before school too and I lost 6 pounds the first week doing this.good luck :)

ok well you need to only eat fruit and drink only water. avoid any fats carbs and choletrol. talk couple mile walks everyday and do some zen and yoga everyday. if you wanna intense it a little bit you can run a couple miles instead of walk a couple miles. if your older avoid any achole. its a healthy but yet very affective diet.
Well I guess I m stupid.... but then again, I m the skinny one. If you don t care about your health then go ahead and try a gimmick product that promises you extreme weight loss and see what happens. Maybe once you see for yourself how dangerous it is you ll appreciate that stupid people tried to warn you and you ll take it more seriously in the future. Best of luck!
for a workable diet - here is what my dietician suggests - follow a practical diet. start your meal with a soup or a huge salad. this fills u up. Make sure your plate has this ratio - 50% veg, 25% carb(potatoes, corn and peas come in carbs category), 25% protein.this will prevent cravings too.an occassional treat is OK. have a snack every three hours. fruit (ideally berries) or soy nuts. just 2 tbsp of soya subsides hunger pangs. switch from white rice and bread to brown. eat 900gms of veggies a day.Lose a kilo a week. that is permanent loss. pick an exercise regime you like.
eat half of everything you normally eat and exercise everyday for an hour each day. make sure you are still eating though. and drink water and Gatorade. don t drink juices or soda. mostly stick to water and some Gatorade.good luck.:)
Jog or ride a bike for a couple miles every day and lay off the fast food. Green tea, plain without suger will help you lose weight.

everyone is correct with there answers,they have all forgotten one thing though- the mental aspect of losing weight....for you to acheive a goal you need to have a strong motivation to complete your goal.find out what gets you excited,football,boxing,athletics,anythi�� you can look up to and admire/aspire to be.losing weight is a long ,drawn out, laborious process that takes a hell of a lot of will power and determination,set yourself goals and if you achieve them,reward yourself with your favourite chocolate bar etc.as long as you follow what everyone else has said about healthy eating - excersise, you will be ok to treat yourself once a week.
I suggest you check out a book called The New Rules of Lifting (There s also a women s version). It really helped me figure out why the things I was doing weren t working. It also gives you workout programs that you can use for the rest of your life and not just six weeks like most programs. Try not to pass on the book just b/c it has weight lifting on the cover.

I ve tried everything but weight watchers is the only thing that has worked. Not really the diet but the humiliation if I don t lost any!!I would sugget joining a club. It costs less than the food you would be eating...trust me!

How to lose weight and get ripped at home with no fancy/UN-fancy equipment? -
Start to build your strength and stamina. Try running 3/4 times a week for at least 20 minutes. Then you can do a circuit which doesn t need a gym and you can do it at home - or in the park. I have given you an example of one that I do but the key is to keep it short and difficult and you will get fit fast.
run up and down the stairs..tins of tomatoes or something - use them as weights to tone up your arms..theyres plenty of things - google itor you could buy a workout video but im tellin ya! wen they say workout they mean WORK OUT!
