How to lose weight at a young age? -

Im 18 and in my prime. I am going on vacation 6 months from now and i want to be in good shape? What can i do? I will try whatever!! i just want to lose some pounds!!!!

Eat healthy and exercise. Also drink lots of water.Make sure to eat something from all the major food groups, just watch quantities. However, if you do a lot of exercise, make sure that you are getting enough calories to compensate.Do you like to run? Running is a very good way to get in shape.

Most people think starvation is the fastest way to see results. It is, however, you will gain it back just as fast! As well, skipping meals can also lead you to loose proportion of your servings; you may think since you skipped a meal you can have a bit more for the following meal. You want to loose wait but stay healthy at the same time! you should work out at the gym after school a couple of times a week. and do NOT over exercise at first because it may cause stress and overwhelm your body. Working out frequently can add muscle pounds on your body so don t just judge by the numbers on the scale. but those are healthy pounds :).Also, try eating a lot of greens and try less pop. Even little changes like whole wheat from white and turkey from bacon on your sand which makes a difference! Drinking lots of water is always good. I ve seen my friends go on diet pills, or such for faster results, but they result in side effects and its not good for you so you should stay away from unnatural ways of loosing weight.I m not a doctor :) but I m also 19 and I looked up ways to loose weight sooooooooo many times, so hopefully, you kind of get the idea.good luck!

The first thing you should do is to get your nutrition under control. I bought The Diet Solution Program some time ago and it s a real eye-opener. Plus, it s really easy to implement (it s not really a diet in the traditional starve-yourself sense).Secondly, you need to add proper exercise to your routine. I find interval training to be the most effective. It boosts your metabolism, burns a heck of a lot of fat while helping you hold on to lean muscle, and it doesn t take as much time out of your day (something that is really a bonus for me).

Power-walking for an hour a day, 5 days a week is very effective, as well as eating right of course. It worked well for me

What are some good or the best exercises to do, if you want to lose weight around your thighs or just tone them up?Thanks

squats are the best thing for thighs and butts they tone them up really well.

How to lose weight in about 20 days? -

I m 14 years old, 5 3 or 5 4, and weigh about 110 lbs. I know I m not overweight or anything, but I have a fat stomach that I m insecure about and would like to lose. I want to lose maybe 5 lbs before spring break (we re going to the beach), so if you could tell me what to eat, and how often to exercise that would be ideal.

To lose weight (fat), include more fibrous slow digesting carbs, as opp. to the fast digesting ones. No white breads, fast foods, sodas (not even diet) no ketchups, sugar, only skim milk, not 2%, skim and whole grain non sweet (sugary) cereal, whole wheat bread, maybe buy some soy or whey protein.Include lean meats like ham, and other sources of protein. Avoid red meats. Take a multivitamin, calcium and vitamin d every 2 days, one or two V8s a day (or every other day). Don t starve, eat small healthy meals. A lot of small meals opposed to a few bigger ones-- make sure is has at least 8-10 or more g of protein, not too much protein because the body can only digest a certain amount at a time; and avoid too many fruits, carbs and sugars. Fibrous veggies, greens (no starches or potatoes) are good, and no BBQ sauce (unless used sparingly) and not too much (if any) salad dressing. Before bed (2 hrs), eat something with protein, don teat many carbs before bed. Eat some of that good cereal in the morning, you need quality carbs, just not too much, and the slow digesting ones.Do slow crunches until you can not do anymore, jog stairs (be safe though), warm up first and do sprints, short bursts of intense activity is very effective compared to long weak activity, just don t over do it. Also include some slow but long endurance jogging. Be active!Jog stairs ;and also do some lunges until it burns, do this every day or 2 days, keep going and don t give up, same with eating, you need some fat, so one or two fish oils daily.Eat fish (not fried, be careful, very careful for bones) Peanut butter on whole wheat (no jelly), which has protein, and don��t worry about the fat in that. Avocados, has fat, good fat; eat it when your hunger cravings get you. When you do crunches, also twist on some to work your sides, keep tension on your abs. Need more info, go to bodybuilding.com

youre only 14 that weight will naturally come off...you re still growing and i wouldn t really say you need to lose any weight at all 110 is pretty much a perfect weight for your height. i m 5 3 and 115 not fat at all any fat i have is in my butt or my boobs lol don t be in such a rush you ll lose that extra baby fat in no time

I would suggest supersetting or interval training. it combines strength training(for building lean muscle tissue) and cardio(for fat burning). you don t need any fancy equipment or an expensive gym membership. example: squats, push-ups, pull-ups, mountain climbers(if you can t do a push-up or pull-up= use dumbbells or resistance bands do a pushing exercise and a pulling exercise instead). do 15 reps of each back to back to back to back without resting. that equals 1 set. rest 30-60 secs. repeat. do 3-5 complete sets. Do this 3-4x/week.If you noticed there are no sit-ups or crunches in this workout. the best way to burn fat and tighten up your midsection core is through total body exercises! This style of training doesn t have you spending in hours and hours a week training either. They are short, fast and effective!These workouts are great for women or men!good luck
