Former bulimic-weight loss tips? -

For 1 long year I struggled with binge eating, purging, and fasting. my weight fluctuated from skinny to normal, normal to skinny.Now I am recovered. I have some days where I feel totally fat and worthless.But I am ready to lose the weight in a HEALTHY way. No more crash diets, no more purging. I want to lose the weight and keep it off.Our class trip to camp orkila is coming up in 5 months. All girls will share one cabin, and I don t want to feel self concious when I m changing. Oh, and we also have to shower together(bathing suits of course) so I can t feel fat!Does anyone have any weight loss plans that they personally have tried. My goal is 10 pounds.

Sweetie, i dont think its worth it. Ask yourself this: Am i REALLY overweight, to the point where its UNHEALTHY? If you aren t sure, consult your doctor, and ask him/her. It might start off as healthy dieting , but theres a big chance, you may relapse. Acually, it sounds as if you are already beggining to relapse. Just don t worry about it, hun. If the doctor tells you that you re at a good weight, you should most definetly be proud of your body. You ve taken good care of it! The doctor isn t going to lie to you, is he? And besides, super skinny girls have no boobs or curves. Last time i checked, those were considered attractive! Unless your classmates are shallow bitc*es, they wont even pay attention to what you weigh! If you still feel bad about your body, after getting an ok from your doctor, i d consider getting counseling or therapy. It could prevent you from going back down that horrible path! If you re doctor, does tell you that you need to lose weight, which i really doubt, then proceed very carefully!! Dieting could very easily turn into bulimia. Work out a good plan with your doctor, and consult him freqeuntly. You might even want to consider getting counseling while on the diet, just to make sure you stay on the right path. I really hope everything works out for you! Just remember Skinny does NOT = beautiful. But a wise person that takes care of their body, is most definetly beautiful!

The Slimming World plan is a great eating plan, and I lost a stone in 6 weeks by following it alone (i.e. without exercising). There are lots of free foods - i.e. that can be eaten in unlimited quantities, which I found good as you never have to go hungry.It s a bit complex to try and explain the whole routine in this answer as it does take a bit to get your head around. i m 14 and i m finally trying to stick to my diet plan, but i made it myself, and i need some tips advice on the best ways to loose weight.my diet plan is pretty much this:- only one can of pop every other day- fast food only once a week- cut down on snacks- drink juice, water, and tea- be careful on carbs [like pizza, bagels, etc]- do at least 50-100 crunches every day or twice a dayright now i drink about 2 cans of pop a day, and eat fast food almost everyday, and i really want to be a size 1/3 by next fall, right now im about:size: 5/7weight: 134-140-ishheight: 5 5 shirt size: mediumhoodie size: largei want to lose at least 5-10 lbs by summerthen by summer time i will start exersizing more and keep eating that way stuff. and then i ll aim to lose 10-15 more lbs.do you think that diet plan will work okay? what are some other tips that will help me lose more weight or lose weight easier. i also really hate my stomach and want that to be flat.and i know, everyone on yahoo answers says your body is perfect, dont lose weight PLEASE PLEASE DONT TELL ME THAT!!

Pilates Help? -

I m 15 almost 16 in a month. I m currently 160 pounds and 5ft 2in well i want to lose about 30-40 pounds so i can get back to my normal weight. How many days a week should i do pilates in order to lose weight. I hate running and know i wont stick to running so i started pilates with a dvd its awesome. Do it every other day. Also, do not snack. Eat three meals a day, coz it s easy to eat a lot of calories without realizing it when you snack. Drink lots of water at least 6-8 glasses a day!

Well that depends on a lot of factors.But if you are now 212.5lb and a size 16-18, I d guess at 150lb you d be around a size 8/10.

it all depends on your height and bone structure. and nutri-system works really well. true it is kind of expensive but in my opinion it s worth it. and no matter how you lose the weight you have to be dedicated 110% or it never works. good luck :]

it depends how tall you are. I m 155 and I wear a 10-12, but I m only 5 2... taller=smaller size because you will be more thinned out and your fat would be distributed more evenly! I am trying to lose a good 20-30 lbs since i am heavy for my height. good luck! keep motivated! every time you have the urge to snack, think of yourself in a bathing suit!

That is my goal too. I am 5 11 and a fraction more. I got up to 210 when I quit smoking. That was 14 years ago. I am down to 162. I lost the weight by upping my exercise. I have no desire to cut calories. I love to eat... However, I do eat an extremely healthy well balance menu. The clothing size for me at 150 pounds will be a 12 or 14 tall. Different brands of clothing vary so much in their sizes This whole thing about getting down to size 2 has no meaning for me. I just want to look good and feel better. My advice is: do not starve your self. Make small changes that you can live with for the rest of your life.Get that exercise. Walk, swim, dance, find a buddy to exercise with you. Do not get into that cycle of starve take off a 5 or 6 pounds and then gain back 8 or 12. That is what I guarantee will happen if you try to take of weight by restricting calories without exercise.
