I am riding a stationary bike for 60 minutes Monday thru Friday at 22mph. in my garage wich is about 110 degrees. Then on Monday, Wednesday and Friday as well as ridding the bike I do approx. 20 minutes of strength training. I watch what I eat and only consume approx. 1400 calories a day and I drink water all day long. Will I lose a good amount of weight and if so how fast shall I lose the weight? I am 28 years old and 5 2 at 155lbs. I would like to lose 30 pounds. If you have any other tips that might help me lose weight faster please let me know. Thank you in advance.
Eat enough protein and fibres, reduce carbo and fatty foods and dont nibling. Drink carrot juice, this reduce weight but to make it taste good add apple in it. Tomatoes for some reason is not good if you want to reduce weight. Chocolate, ice cream, milk shakes ,you know will not help reducing yr weight, so avoid it.Thinking! Worrying! Anger!Up tight! takes lots of energy but dont compensate it with niblings ( biscuits/chocolates) , but you can nible fruits any time, not too much at a time. How many hours you sleep in 24hours? Dont sleep right away after meal.See what you get and come back after 2 weeks, tell us the progress. I am a bit taller than you, but at your age I was 43 Kgs and creeping up during mid 50st to 47Kgs , since I was late 50st until now (60) manage my weight at max 51Kgs. Looks better at 50Kgs. ( I have small bones, so I dont look skinny). I eat a lot, but like I say above, lots of protein and fibers and less carbo unless I am really hungry. For protein, I eat meat very rare fatty meat , for fibre lots of spinach. I sleep max 8 hours/day , mainly between 6 -7 hours. I dont sleep during the day unless I am really2 tired and have only abt 3-4 sleep that night.I always have something to think about. Maybe my experience will help you. Make sure you dont lose weight too quick its not very good for your skin. Dont forget to rub your skin with oil.Good luck
yes that is pretty good. I take an hour long cycling class so i know how rough that is. Sounds like you are very motivated. Make sure to eat a lot though, do not eat less. Eat more food early on in the day (breakfast/lunch) then you have all day to burn it. Consume a lot of protein and take a break from your diet and enjoy yourself every once in a while.
Let me tell u a quicker I way I used to weigh 148 punds now I weigh 118 pounds all I did was start drinking only water milk w/ cearal of course stiop eating sweets completely. I ve gone from a size 9 to a size 5 in some pants 3/4 in just 3 months i lost 30 pounds in just 3 months. u can tone it all up by working out @ the gym, but then you d gain only like 2 or 3 pounds for that. Oh instead of chips eat fruit or those 100 calorie packs of chips, I hoped I helped.

Your burning calories but you might actually gain some weight later but that s good. It s muscle weight and muscle weighs more than fat. You def. should be burning fat and you re getting healthier!
To successfully lose weight, you must carry outa plan to balance your caloric intake with exercise.Ideally, dieting should be done by eating a nutritionallybalanced, low-calorie diet and increasing physical activity. I found useful informations at
The key to losing weight is to burn more calories than you consume. When it boils down to it, that is what really needs to happen.

You will lose weight. But if you want to maxamize your results I would recommend doing different cardio activites. Try and use all the muscles in your body as it burns more calories. Do things such as swimming, go outside and play a sport of some sort, try and mix it up. But any days you can t really do that the stationary bike is good too. 110 degrees is NOT good to be exersising in for that long. Try and find a way to cool your garage down, or move the bike inside, or better yet see if there is a gym in your area.As for your diet, 1400 calories sounds good for losing weight, but make sure you are getting good foods. I probably don t need to tell you that cookies, cake, doughnuts won t help your reach your goals. Make sure you are getting plenty of protein, eating lots of vegetables, and avoiding as much fat as possible. As for your water intake, its good that your staying hydrated but make sure you are giving you self electrolytes too, your body needs those too and not all water has that. Gatorade is good for that.
i have lost about 30 pounds and this is how i did it. I started a diet where i limited my calories to under 2000 a day, and I limited the amount of found I ate as well. I used hoodia to help with the diet. And it helps, but it is expensive. i got it at GNC. the reason I did it this way was to give my stomach and gut time to shrink, or to get used to being filled with small amounts of food. this makes a lot of sense biologically. im a biologist.Exercise is the most important part. this is where you have to say to yourself, this is my new life, my new routine . riding a bike at a particular mph is the wrong way to look at it. The first muscle to get into shape before you worry about any other is your heart. im dead serious about this. Therefore, focus on your heartrate while riding the bike. i personally like the elyptical b/c of its low impact on the knees and spine. Today was a milestone in my cardio fitness, it takes more tension now to maintain my heart rate at 160. That is where I like it to be, a little higher than 80% of a 28 yr old s capacity. and it took me 2+ months to do that, and using the elyptical for 3 to 4 times a week. Another tip, i use my ipod to give me extra motivation, but that is just me. I listen to songs that make you want to get up and move or to get mean with it (rock).my weight lifting i do conservatively, but now that my heart is in good shape, I will probably try to move up on my weight some.i do all of this at the gym in a cool environment. working out in the heat is dangerous. you make think that sweating is losing, but really that is just water from the food and drink you have and from your bodies cells. you need to stay hydrated. water is needed to burn energy. also, never exercise when you feel hungry.it sounds like you are doing some dangerous things, and i want to encourage you to go to a gym for a free week, most places give you a free week. and dont be shy about asking questions. people at the gym are some of the best personalities you will find, when they are not conceded or binge exercising - which it sounds like you are doing. make exercise part of your life for now on. eat right, and don t forget to smile just because you can.
