My fiance and I need to lose weight and get in shape (I need to lose 30 pounds and she needs to lose about 70 pounds). However, we want to do this together and we both work full time and go to school full time and are on a very tight budget. How can we do this together so we can support each other? Also, should we take weight loss pills (I heard they were bad for you)? We were thinking to walk/run everyday, don t drink sodas anymore and watch what we eat more closely. Any suggestions would be very helpful. Thanks!
Some really easy suggestions are stay away from sodas. Water is awesome. If you were to stop drinking everything else and just drink water for the next two weeks you would lose 5-10 lbs. right there, seriously. While fruit juice is good for your body, it has a high calorie content. I knew a buddy who decided to stop drinking diet soda and go to OJ for his diet and he ended up drinking almost a carton of OJ a day, which is like 1500 calories just in liquids. STAY AWAY FROM SODA, it is bad. Also, gatorade has a very high calorie count as well and isn t meant really meant for you unless you just got done with an extreme workout and need to replenish your body with nutrients. STEP 1-- WATER, WATER, WATER.STEP 2, stop eating late at night. This one is horrible for me since I don t wake up until noon. The cutoff is supposedly 7pm but you can stretch it to 8 pm. This one is huge. As you start to relax later in the day so does your metabolism and you don t work off that food as easily.STEP 3, eat breakfast and regular meals or snacks. Eating in the morning gets your bodies biological system up and running. Small meals and snacks throughout the day keep it going. They say 5-6 small meals and snacks is the target, but once again, unreasonable. If you can get yourself Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner, eat and apple or a banana or something in between breakfast and lunch and then again between lunch and dinner that s not that hard.Eating right is hard and expensive but if you fall off the train just pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and get back on. If you fall off for a couple of days, don t let it go and don t beat yourself up about, just pick up were you left off and don t look at it as starting over again. As for the expensive part, you can get around that, a bag of apples are only a couple of bucks and can last a week for snacks. It may get old eating apples, so get yourself a bag of oranges, some bananas, some grapes, hell, mix em all together and have a small fruit bowl. Also, don t be afraid to cheat. It will be soooooo hard if you try to quit junk food cold turkey. If you cheat, be reasonable and be satisfied until the next time you can cheat.STEP 4 - SET GOALS. Achieving a goals is an awesome feeling. In business they use the acronym SMART -Specific, Measureable, Attainable, Realistic, and Time bound. Set yourself daily, weekly, and monthly goals and strive to achieve them. STEP 5 - Any exercise is better than no exercise at all. Start off walking. When it gets easy go further or faster. The key is heartrate. If you tip-toe around the city, that s not doing much for you but if you power walk up the block then you are doing something. Also, if you have a YMCA around they give membership scholarships for six month periods. I don t know what you re finances are like but they require your previous year s taxes, two recent paycheck stubs, and that you have a checking account. They provide full and half-off scholarships and they provide so many other services that you could benefit from it s not even funny. I am currently on the free scholarship and I get a call once a month just like any other memebr to make sure I am happy with the Y. Also, if you go to google and search for diet tips and workout tips and recipes there is so much free information out there you don t even need a Yahoo Answers or YMCA. Sorry to end this on what may seem like an advertisement but I really do wish you both the best of luck.
Number 1: Do not do any crash dieting. They don t wont and you ll be fatter afterwards.Number 2: Cut as much sugar from your diet as possible, soda, candy, chocolates, and processed carbs like bread, donuts, and fries all contain high percentages of sugar.Number 3: Eat 5-7 small meals a day rather than 2-3 large meals. This will keep you gluclose levels constant and will keep your body constantly supplied with energy. Never eat until you feel full. Eat only until you are not hungry. Number 4: Burn 200-300 calories a day. It is easy as walking uphill on a treadmill for 45 minutes. You can do that watching TV.In fact slow steady exercise burns more fat than short heart pounding cardio exercise (why do you think marathon runners are crack skinny?). If you want to burn fat at the maximum rate, never exceed 50% of your max heart rate, otherwise you ll be burning muscle and fat. You want to maintain muscle because it helps burn fat while you are stationary. Number 5: Have your workout partner dump a huge guilt trip on you whenever you don t show up to work out. Nothing motivates like peer pressure.Good luckand remember, we are the first generation of americans who will NOT outlive our parents because we are so fat.

How far are you from work/school? If possible, try walking when the weather is nice. Not drinking sodas is also an excellent idea. Keeping a food journal (where you right down everything you eat) is also helpful for some people. It might also help to break the big goal down into smaller mini goals so that it doesn t seem overwhelming. Most importantly, DON T GIVE UP!!
In 2004 I got very sick and could not eat very much. I lost 65 lbs in 4 months. I could only eat a half a cereal bowl of vegetables or rice and half a pear. I did this 4 to five times a day and drank water. If you eat like this, weight will just drop off. Sounds strange, but it worked for me. It s a discipline and all about determination.
Ok u have told that u are very tight with money. So as the first step u stop eating more fatty and oily foods. Then in mornings u go for a big walk. Also if you have time u go to a walk in the evenings too.

Many people ask me how they can slim down. I recommend that people eat right and exercise. However, if they would like a little help , I suggest using natural Hoodia (it s important to note that not all Hoodia works well, even if the bottle says pure or standard ).The Hoodia sold at http://301url.com/free-diet-pills is in my opinion the best Hoodia on the market. It s pure, has no side effects, and they give you a free 15 day sample (there is a $7.99 shipping and handling charge, but they also give you free recipe and diet guides). Fantastic results have been seen with this particular Hoodia.
every morning, go for a jog, after every two days, increase your speed and / or distanceget rid of all the junk food in your house so your not tempted to eat it.DO NOT STARVE YOURSELF, if you do, at the end of the day, you will be VERY hungry and your body will crave for sugar and you will only get bigger.Stick to salads and waterTo not only have salads, get creative, go to the gorcery store and pick out fruits, vegetables, anything healthy, and create your own healthy recipe. When you watch TV with your family, try to lift weights or get a tred mil (sp?) while watching TVMake sure to wash your face often and mantain good hygiene to prevent pimples.Instead of driving everywhere, think about walking... you re also saving tthe environment.Good Luck!
This sounds wonderful. You already have one key ingredient to becoming successful with your weight loss. That s, each other.Support one another, keep food diaries to keep tabs on what you re eating. Enjoy long walks on the beach or around the block and talk about how was school and work. But with your busy schedule, make sure that you at least set 20 min a day to workout. With only 20 minutes the best way to make the most of your time is to combine weight training with cardio. Here s a quick sample workout:Jog in place for 2 min...Squats for 1 minPushups for 1 min1 min of crunches1 min of jumping jacksRest for 1 minute.Repeat 3-4 times. It s really that simple. Don t forget to stretch after your workout.Enjoy one another and make this journey to losing weight fun.http://www.4evertoned.com
