How to lose weight in about 2 months? -

I need to lose about 4-6 kilograms( 8-13 pounds) until June and my legs are bulky since I run in the school team, I want to slim them down too. Any diet/exercise ideas?

I think its possible for you to lose 4 kg from now until June, more than that will be unhealthy for you. The only simple way to loose weight fast is to raise your metabolism, to burn more fat. not to starve yourself because your body is very intellident, it can detect when you are lack of calories from food and makes u feel sleepy to restore calories for the body. Eat negative calories or high fiber food: Asparagus, broccoli, cauliflower, celery, lettuce zucchini. Because these food require a lot of calories to digest so in return the more you eat the more calories you can burn without doing anything. Don t worry about your weight. Since you run, you have more muscle which weighs more than fat... In that case, weight is not necessarily a bad thing. If you are trying to lose an inch (cm s) around your waist or something, that is different. Just find exercises that focus on the area you are trying to change. Don t give up on exercise because it makes you heavier with muscle, that would be counter-productive. Bulk usually comes with high weight/low reps. Tone comes with low weight/high reps.

The best way to lose wight (also the hardest way) is to do lots of exercise and eat not much, mainly carbohydrates (flour bread pasta ect) lay of the sugar and fatty foods, and do exercise! 5 mins every hour will do it.

Ive been on the bowflex for 3 weeks and im not seeing results? -

k so i ve been working out on the bow-flex for 3 weeks, four times a week. its usually about 30 minutes. i have 15 exercises. 5 arm, 2 back, 3 abs and 5 legs. i do 1 rep of 20. i m barely seeing results. i haven t changed my diet, i feel my stomach looks larger than it used to be and what it should be. what am i doing wrong and how can i change it or when we the results show. if you have any other weight loss tips please share! :D thanks

LOL...30 min a day is not going to be enough to give you any results and it for sure is not going to give you results if you do not change your eating habits. there is not easy fix for fat...it takes lots of time and effort to change...and you are definitely not giving it either.

I m trying to loose some of my extra body fat mainly in my arms, stomach, and legs. What I would really love to see happen is to loose all that extra fat around my thighs. I have the same body shape, and the same problem. Everyone so far has told me that you can t spot reduce, and to just up my cardio either in intensity or length. I m going to star your question though, hopefully someone has some good advice for you (us! lol)

Contrary to popular belief, you can t target weight loss. If you eat right, and exercise enough you will eventually lose weight from your lower body. You could also try exercising your legs more to add definition and make them appear to have gone down in size.

How to lose weight going from a raw vegan diet to a meat eating diet? -

I was recently put on a high protein- meat eating diet because of my Anemia. I am afraid I will be gaining weight since I had been a raw vegan for several months prior. I don t know how to control this fear; my entire day revolves around the calorie intake I take in now, and if it has fat, sugar, and what not. I use to work as a dietary aide and I am a cook for different institutions.First of all protein can come from other sources such as eggs or peanut butter,protein shakes made from fruits and veggies together.Eat 3 small light meals a day meat such as fish,chicken,and turkey are good don t fry grill,broil or poach hope this will help.

You must know that you can get iron and protein from vegetable sources. I cant imagine why you would go from raw to meat. Why didnt you just go vegetarian and eat vegetables rich in iron? Why did you not just take vegetarian supplements?

If you don t eat sugars and carbs you will not gain wieght, you will probably loose. Eat lean meat and vegetables (leafy ones, not starchy ones). Take a fiber supplement if you get constipated and you will loose weight.

If you ve not started yet, be prepared to get sick! You can eat the same as you have just throw in some chicken breast, or some steak. (also concider protien powders - they might help without a bunch of meat).But, it sounds like you were using your vegan diet to mask an eating dissorder. You may want to check that out too.
