I would have thought it might have been harmful but, from reading the reviews, it sounds okay. Nutrisystem is just a diet program that provides well balanced meals and vitamin supplements for weeks at a time. The only bad thing is the preservatives used to keep the food fresh, but you get the same thing with any store bought food.

Stop being so damn lazy. You re 12 years old for goodness sake. When I was 12 I was on 3 bball teams and 2 soccer teams. If you stay this lazy you ll have a heart attack at the age of 35. Get active.

about five months ago i weighed 270lb now I m 5 11 @ 185 lb. i came up with a diet and devoted myself to it..all i did was stay away from ***any fried foods***(french fries, breaded stuff), no white bread, no sugar drinks(cool aid, lemonade, sweat tea).I would eat about six times a day(not bad for a diet right). The best suggestion I can make is to work with your Dr. first and outline your goals. Most dr s would say that losing 1-2 pounds a week is a healthy weight loss rate. This is accomplished with a combo of a healthy eating plan and targeted exercise. There are many fad diets out there, which is why there are new ones every year, but they work ONLY for a short time. There is only 1 permament and healthy way I know of. Small meals throughout the day (5 to 7 meals) of nutritous foods like lean protien, whole grain breads and plenty of fruit/vegatables will raise your metabolism as your body learns to not store so much fat from your meals. The other side is short, intense bursts of exercise like sprints and strength training which burn far more fat than long distance running (although a long distance runner burns many calories - his body becomes much more efficient at storing and using fat which is the opposite of what a person who wants to lose fat wants.) That is the basic, healthy way to lose weight. No fad diets, no fancy machines or pills. Just basic nutrition, 20-30 min of exercise 3 to 4 days a week. My mother and I are both trying to lose weight, but we are competing in a way, and she will overcome me soon. I m trying to lose weight too. This is what I m doing now: I have a binder with dividers as my weight loss journal. This does help even though, at first, I didn t see the benefit. It keeps track and see what you are doing wrong and things that work. Anyways, I divided it into 5 sections(Daily Journal, Tips/ Motivation, Food/Exercise Track, Progress, and Final Destination. To start off, before all my sections,(this sounds dumb but...) I wrote a letter to my future self. In this letter, I m talking to me after I will accomplish my ultimate goal. I do not say IF i do it. I write to me as i know I will. Talking in this manner helps. Anyways, I include my reasons for weight loss and I tell myself that I admire me. Dumb I know, but it may work. In tips/Motivation, I ll list tips people tell me or what I read in books and online and I ll write quotes or collect pictures that inspire me. I ll record everything I eat in the Food/Exercise Track and the time I eat it and what I do for exercise. Eevery day, I will start a fesh paper and on the top I will include my weekly Goal. Progress is for weekly goal accomplishments and weight that I will lose monthly. It will also include my evaluation(like what I did that worked and didn t work and how I will improve what I do. And final stage will be when I meet my ultimate goal or when I m pretty close to it. I will write an overall entry take pictures of myself and you know, be proud of me. I gained a ton of weight due to major depression and the dreaded freshman 15! Could anyone give me a good way to kick start a healthy weight loss plan and then a constant regimen I can follow. I m also fairly muscular but still larger than I want to/ am accustomed to being. I am 5 4 about 165 lbs, I used to weigh 125 and was SKINNY (because of my musculature) so I think that between 130 and 140 would be a good size for my body type.
