My 13 year old niece is going on vacation in 3 weeks and she would like to loose weight. She s 5 7, 160 lbs, Tall, and has a regular period. She asked me if i could find advice on how to lose weight quick and easy without any equipment. She eats healthy, but her problem is the exercising. So- Easy way for 13 y/o to loose weight quick and easy with results?
Two-weeks is probably an unrealistic amount of time to drop a lot of weight-not to mention unhealthy for anyone let alone someone so young. However, I do suggest eliminating some startches from her diet-most importantly those made with bleached white flour. Also, if regular jogging would be an issue for her, walking at a brisk pace with hand-weights burns about the same amount of calories as jogging does.Be sure she s getting all the fruits and vegetables she needs daily. Refrain from unessential sweets and fats. A solid, healthy, breakfast is a good way to fire-start the metabolism for the rest of the day. Also, enzymes help the body smoothly digest food-Jarrow brand makes some excellent enzyme capsules. Practicing pilates or yoga is a good way to slender-down and gain flexibility. You might also try-although it may be too much stress on her body-a colonic flush. The body can store up to 13 lbs of backed up fecal matter.You can find colonic-flush capsules at most health food stores and sometimes even at your local grocery. Good luck and don t over-do it. It s dangerous to drop a large amount of weight in a short period of time.
the best way would be to eat really clean no junk food. She needs to walk first thing in the mornings, that will burn stored fat. Eat a lean carbohydrate and protein combination every 3 hours to keep a full feeling and healthy blood sugar levels. Example would be, breakfast: 2 egg whites, 1 cup oatmeal plain, fruitsnack: protein shake made with fat free milk lunch: chicken salad made with fat free dressing on whole grain bread, carrot sticks for crunchsnack: one sheet of low fat graham cracker, banana and protein powder mixed with milk- or a power bar ( low fat and sugar)Dinner: grilled chicken, brown rice and steamed veggies. 1/2 cup non fat yogurt for a treat.Drink lots of water and get enough sleep. You might think your already eating healthy, but by keeping a food journal you ll be accountable to yourself of everything you put in your mouth. At 13 years old, you should stick to eating healthy and daily exercise as a life-long habit, but most of all enjoy your life and be happy with yourself for who you are on the inside.Have fun on your vacation!
If she is 13, she shouldnt need to lose weight. If it is for impressing people, I guarantee she wont be disappointed in the future when she will meet the perfect guy and be happy, not needing to lose the weight. Encourage her that she is very pretty constantly, and she wont need to lose any weight. If it is urgent, however, a casual stroll around or swimming is excellent.
Not a good idea to lose more than a pound or two per week. It is very hard on your body to lose weight rapidly!! Best thing she could do is - GIVE IT TIME, go for a walk or 2 a day, cut out the sodas, no snacks after dinner. Small changes gradually work the best!!
Good exercise will tone up her muscles and make her look healthy and fit. Squats and bending/stretching plus walking for an hour or so. Some very fit people have quitea lot of bulk and look great. She can be quite toned in 3 wks and then likely to have healthy glow.
well if she has an mp3 player i just crank up the to nes and jog to the beat. it s the exercising that gets me too. so i make it funn she can jogging with a friendd too
theres a really easy way. DANCING! Dancing is a really fun way to lose weight. Belly dancing helps you lose 10 pounds in 5 days.
I m the same and and height, but I weigh a lot less than 160. I do 40 leg lifts every night and I run daily. If she does that, I m sure that she ll lose a lot the first couple weeks.
first of all, it is dangerous to lose weight that fast.you should make her run and keep a daily routine of it,... excercise. tell her not to starve. it never works.
Swimming is great exercise. It s fun and easy plus you burn alot of calories without feeling hot or gross. Plus you get a tan in the process (great if she s going on vacation!)

No healthy way to do it.At 13 years old, there s nothing wrong with this. At 13, she should already be active just keep it up.
RUN LAPS STAY AWAY FROM BREADS EAT FRUIT DRINK WATER AND GATORADE AND DO @% SIT UPS AND PUSHUPS BEFORE BED THIS WAY WHILE UR SLEEPING ITS STILL IN UR BODY GOOD LUCK............
Power walking and running, maybe some aerobics. She wont lose much in 3 weeks but enough to feel really good.
