I need weight loss tips? -

im seven teen 5 8 and 258ibs n wanna drop down to atleast 180so im looking for any tips and advice. i have a gym member ship n i go almost every day but i feel about the same i wanna build muscle but dont know what to do

well when u do loss the weigh u feel better and more energric i was on a diet i used to be 141 and my height was 5 1 but no im 5 3 and i used to be liek 11 i think hwne i weigh that much and now im 12 and weigh 115 hard to give up food that and drinks that u like but yea anyways u need to loose weight first and when u do then u you could build muscles but taht way i just said is better so u can see muscle better the best way to do is cut down on sugar and avoid fast food places and food with high in fat and grease.fruits taht helps u with boosting ur metabloism is honeydew melon and green apples green grapes and berrys(any kind like strawberry bluberry and more) um a thing taht help me loss weight was a slim belt thing its liek a thing u put on ur stomach and it helps u burn calories more and sweat more it was pretty helpful

Eat healthy and stay hydrated. Your body burns fat and builds muscle most efficiently when its hydrated. Do a lot of running, stretching, and torso exercises. Make sure to mix it up every few weeks or so. If you do the same routine over and over, your body gets used to it.

How to lose weight healthy if you are not overweight? -

hi, i am 15 years old and i think i way 118 pounds. I feel okay with my body but when it comes to my legs i don t. Well not really my legs, mostly my thighs. I want to make them smaller or at least toned but i don t know how to do it. Please help!!!

Stay away from multi joint leg exercises that means no stepper, no stir climber, no stairs, no step aerobics. Eat proper proportions and do long duration light impact cardio.

I totally disagree with jimtem----with all due respect. If you are within a normal weight range, which I m pretty sure you are at 118 lbs., you can tone your legs, but you probably won t make them smaller. I think you should use steppers and elliptical machines, etc, to firm the muscle. Leg extensions will help tone your legs, but stay away from heavy weights doing squats or leg presses. Leg extensions are more of a shaping exercise vs. a muscle building exercise.

First off, congrats on losing that weight. I don t think that BMI is as important as knowing what your daily caloric intake to maintain is. Once you figure that out, you can subtract 500 calories off of it to lose 1 Lb a week. Alternatively, you can increase your daily calorie burn by 500 calories and you can achieve the same thing. Read the article below for how to calculate your BMR and then your daily caloric intake. It also goes through what carb cycling is and how it can help you. She asked me if i could find advice on how to lose weight quick and easy without any equipment. She eats healthy, but her problem is the exercising. Two-weeks is probably an unrealistic amount of time to drop a lot of weight-not to mention unhealthy for anyone let alone someone so young. However, I do suggest eliminating some startches from her diet-most importantly those made with bleached white flour. Also, if regular jogging would be an issue for her, walking at a brisk pace with hand-weights burns about the same amount of calories as jogging does.Be sure she s getting all the fruits and vegetables she needs daily. Refrain from unessential sweets and fats. A solid, healthy, breakfast is a good way to fire-start the metabolism for the rest of the day. the best way would be to eat really clean no junk food. She needs to walk first thing in the mornings, that will burn stored fat. If she is 13, she shouldnt need to lose weight. If it is for impressing people, I guarantee she wont be disappointed in the future when she will meet the perfect guy and be happy, not needing to lose the weight. Encourage her that she is very pretty constantly, and she wont need to lose any weight. If it is urgent, however, a casual stroll around or swimming is excellent.

Not a good idea to lose more than a pound or two per week. It is very hard on your body to lose weight rapidly!! Best thing she could do is - GIVE IT TIME, go for a walk or 2 a day, cut out the sodas, no snacks after dinner. Small changes gradually work the best!!

Good exercise will tone up her muscles and make her look healthy and fit. Squats and bending/stretching plus walking for an hour or so. Some very fit people have quitea lot of bulk and look great. She can be quite toned in 3 wks and then likely to have healthy glow.

I m the same and and height, but I weigh a lot less than 160. I do 40 leg lifts every night and I run daily. If she does that, I m sure that she ll lose a lot the first couple weeks.

first of all, it is dangerous to lose weight that fast.you should make her run and keep a daily routine of it,... excercise. tell her not to starve. it never works.

Swimming is great exercise. It s fun and easy plus you burn alot of calories without feeling hot or gross. Plus you get a tan in the process (great if she s going on vacation!)

RUN LAPS STAY AWAY FROM BREADS EAT FRUIT DRINK WATER AND GATORADE AND DO @% SIT UPS AND PUSHUPS BEFORE BED THIS WAY WHILE UR SLEEPING ITS STILL IN UR BODY GOOD LUCK............

Power walking and running, maybe some aerobics. She wont lose much in 3 weeks but enough to feel really good.
