I am going back to school (I ll be a highschool junior) in a week. I gained about 25 pounds over the summer, and I need to get back to where I was (or at least close) by Aug. 30. I am not interested in weight loss pills or eating disorders. I want tips for dieting and staying fit. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Well, that much weight in just a few days is pushing it. Don t be discouraged, though, as you CAN get that weight off, it is just going to take a couple more months than expected. You must have the calorie-reduced diet and exercise. There s only one safe way to lose weight effectively, and that is to eat a LITTLE less (by 200-400 calories) than the amount of calories you need to use in a day. If you eat too much less, you body goes into fat storage mode, and any attempts at starving yourself will backfire, as you will get fat quickly again when you start eating again. Go to the site below to get info on how many calories you need in a day, and what your ideal weight range is for your age and height. You can enter your personal information and get a free report.http://www.nutritiondata.com/calories-buYou need to learn how to read food labels and count calories. It takes a little getting used to, but once you get the hang of it, it makes all the difference. Once you learn how to do this, not only will you get the weight off, but you will be able to keep it off for good! Some quick tricks to get you started:Switch from pop to water (flavored sugar-free waters have kept me going as I lost weight!)Cut the the 4 C s of cookies, cake, chocolate and chips (Oh the agony, I know! But once you have lost weight, add them again in moderation.)Weigh your food to find out what serving sizes are normal. Many food labels contain normal serving sizes, although some of them are a little on the large size. Then, eat a little less than the normal serving size to lose weight.Make healthy choices in restaurants, and share your meals with a friend. Restaurant serving sizes are notorious for being two to three times larger than a normal serving size.

its upto u how much serious u r , u can loose weight as much u can , it require ur time and seriousness and also some efforts .infact first of all try to reduce fat and carb in ur meals , do some exercise atleast 5 days in a week and also take some help from the diet pills as these diet pills act as appetite supressant and thats ur quantity of dose of food is reduced and it is directly proportional to ur fat , as when u reduce the fat in ur meals then the body burns the fat stored in ur body for your daily schedule and aswell as in time of exercise , if u wanna to know more from the weight loss tips and programs then have a look to these siteshtp://www.figurefirst.comhttp://www:wikepedia.org

You should NOT lose more that 2 or 3pounds per week and not comsume less than 1200 calories!

If you get the book and read it and follow what it says, you WILL lose the weight and be healthy.
You can t without hurting yourself. If you diet and exercises intelligently you may be able to knock off 5 or so pounds by the time school starts again.
Eat less and move more. Though, there is no physically healthy way to lose 25 pounds by the end of August. A weightloss like that would take upwards of 12 weeks.
