Tips on how to lose weight? -

I walk a few miles a day, and i m not too flabby but I want to lose a few pounds, my self esteem is really low.I was trying to cut down my calorie intake to 1500, but I keep bingeing! I can stick to it for about 2 days, then I eat like a pig for the next few days after that, and it makes me feel really bad.Please give any weight loss tips, and tips on how I can stop myself from bingeing.

1. Drink plenty of water. Our body needs a lot of water so give in to water. Water is not just way to flush out toxin but if you have more water in your body you will generally feel healthier and fitter. This it self will discourage any tendency to gorge. The best thing about water is that is has no calories at all.2. Start your day with a glass of water. As soon as you wake up, gulp down a glass of cool water. It��s a wonderful way to start you day and you only need a lesser quantity of your breakfast drink after that. A glass of water lets out all your digestive juices and sort of lubricates the insides of your body. You may have your morning cup of tea but have it after a glass of water. It is good for you.3. Drink a glass of water before you start the meal. Water naturally needs some space so that you feel fuller without actually having to stuff yourself.4. Have another glass of water while you are having the meal. Again this is another way of making yourself full so that you can actually rise from the table eating less but feeling full just the same. Instead of drinking it one gulp, take sips after each morsel. It will help the food to settle faster so that you get that feeling that you are full faster. So if you must drink sodas, then stick to diet sodas.6. Include in your diet things that contain more water like tomatoes and watermelons. These things contain 90 to 95 % water so that there is nothing that you have to lose by feasting on them. They fill you up without adding to the pounds.7. Eat fresh fruit instead of drinking fruit juice. Juice is often sweetened but fresh fruits have natural sugars. When you eat fruit, you are taking in a lot of fiber, which is needed by the body, and fruits of course are an excellent source of vitamins.8. If you do have a craving for fruit juice then go for fresh fruit juice instead of these that contain artificial flavors and colors. Or even better, try making your own fruit juice taking care not to sweeten it with too many calories.9. Choose fresh fruit to processed fruits. Processed and canned fruits do not have as much fiber as fresh fruit and processed and canned fruits are nearly always sweetened.10. Increase your fiber intake. Like I mentioned, the body needs a lot of fiber. So try to include in your diet as many fruits and vegetables as you can.11. Go crazy on vegetables. Vegetables are your best bet when it comes to losing pounds. Nature has a terrific spread when it comes to choosing vegetables. And the leafy green vegetables are your best bet. It doesnt seem like you need to lose any fat.I did this to lose weight for my rowing championships (there was a weight limit)but if you just want to see a drop in numbers, this can help:just drink LOTS of water, like a gallon a day.this helps you to flush water weight. sounds like it wont, but drinking all the water tells your body s old instinct to retain water for some upcoming drought, that it no longer needs to. that could help you lose like 4-6 pounds in a week (plus you ll be hydrated!)also eating huge amounts of fiber can help to cleanse your intestines of food that s probably been sitting there for quite sometime from fatty foods and things that are hard to digest. this could also help you lose like 5pounds.this combined with a healthier diet (not starving or super strict, still give in to cravings sometimes, it s ok) can help A LOTi myself loss 8lbs in 5 days. so it definitely works

try and doing this go to the store and find something you like.. Like candy now see how many calories are in there and try to find one with i less and once a day eat one and just had i your intake chart it is still going to be hard but at the same time think of way you are doing this in the first place

First, do not take any weight loss supplements/ drinks. You CAN do this on your own. You just need discipline. The number one thing that comes with discipline is shopping less of the unhealthy foods.

I think that what you two are doing is a really good idea! I always count my calories and fat grams. It not only helps me to keep track of what I m eating but I also will stick to my diet better. I ve recently started to eat my supper for breakfast . Which means I am eating my biggest meal of the day in the morning. I have already lost 5 lbs doing this. And you should get at least 30 grams of fiber in a day, which is really hard I have to use fibersure. Walking is one of the best excercises! Just make sure to flex all of your muscles while doing it. And try to walk further every day.Good Luck!

I have been sucessful with a low carb diet like the south beach diet( i lost 22 pounds) but if you can t drink water, I am not sure that you should go on a diet without consulting your doctor first..

you could start eating things with less calories. go for a 15 min jog every day. and you can still eat whatever you want because there are many good foods with very little calories you can buy. for example the weight watchers chocolate delicious!!!

look up excercises that help with those areas and nothing white..like bread pasta,rice,potatoes go to whole wheat bread ,pasta and rice even mix it with white to learn new tastes sweet potatoes and even if you do not like whole wheat bread have one slice whole wheat one white and cut down to two slices of bread a day i quit eating white bread and lost 12 pounds and i am not fat just was slightly over wieght

What you want to do is start on like a specific day. go grocery shopping and buy only good food. like food that has the healthy sign on the box. once you start you ll feel bad about eating junk food. just motivate yourself and exercise! if you can go skiing, do it! it s so easy and you dont even break a sweat and you burn 500 calories an hour! otherwise go running, it s not as bad as you think once your doing it. and do about 100-200 or even 300 crunches a night in 50 intervals. if you do that once a night for 2 or 3 weeks. trust me, you ll see results and otherwise if you dont want to run walk for 30 min a day, def. will get results. good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, those are the hardest areas to shape up quickly. Don t fall for any magazine gimmick that promises results in a week either! The best thing to do is cardio. Try running a minimum of 30 minutes a day, 6 days a week. Sound like a lot? It is. But it s dedication that pays off, trust me. I d also avoid animal products, increase your veggies and fruits, and try to work out before you eat. The main thing is that you expel more calories than you consume in a day and get adequate cardio. Remember: Cardio doesn t have to consist of just running, speed walking is a very effective cardiovascular exercise. AND people are more likely to speed walk LONGER than those who run, because it s kinder on your joints. GOOD LUCK!

You need to workout and do 30 minutes of cardio a day. Also do abs that will help with your stomach. Google on the web fitness workouts and there are plenty of exercises that can help. Self magazine also has some great tips and story s from people that had lost alot of weight.

You need exercise, but if you are carrying over 100lbs extra, you are too morbidly obese to do much at the start, so you need to really start to lose weight by food control. There is no tip, other than YES it is bloody hard work, and you will do it if you actually want to do it, it s like smoking, no-one can make you do it only you, and you really need to. Also don t be looking to shed masses of weight in a short time, look to lose a pound a week. after 6 months you may then be able to start swimming, which will help you massively.To do this right will take 2 years, there is no quick easy fix, you are not going to look good on your holiday this year.

take up a hobby that will occupy you.KNITTING or sewing that is the magic i say.occupy your hands in the evening and u will distract yourself from getting up and grabbing those biscuits. and u can make cute scarves and hats n stuff!!!!!

Well to lose weight you have to burn more calories than you take in.So instead of walking I d fast pace walk or jog. You need to get the heart pumping.

Weight loss tips after baby? Meal Ideas? -

I have a tumor that is causing hemorraging if I do to much, this could last up to a year while my uterus heals (didnt want surgery and tumors can shrink after delivery because of hormone decrease) So I cannot excercise much at all without problems. I am also breastfeeding and do not want to lose my supply, the last time I dieted my supply decreased. Any suggestions on how I can lose some of this baby weight? Umm when i BF i ate alot of green veggies, eggs, red meat and chicken.I walked alot, just normal pace walking as i had ALOT of stitches down there, so i had to walk to help them heal but not overdo it.I was lucky where i lived because i had heaps of hills which helped with muscle tone, also drink at least 2 litres of water a day.Maybe buy some small hand weights and just like lift those and swivel ur hips while lifting them up and down etc.Hope i have helped a little bit xx
