im 15 years old, im 5 8 and im a guy...i went from 146 to 126 recently but i need some tips to drop more weight fast....are there any tricks(metabolism boosting, fat burning) things i can doi already have a pretty good knowledge of diet

Well if you need to lose weight quickly for a certain reason, like getting into a certain weight class for wrestling, you could try to run with a bunch of sweaters on to get rid of your water weight. But I m guessing that you mean, lose weight and keep it off. In that case, put a treadmill in front of the TV and day by day increase your speed till eventually you re running while you watch whatever TV show. Also, try eating healthier replacements for everyday meals, replace sugary cereal with Special K and instead of snacking on junk food eat fruit, sherbet, and yogurt.

Im anorexic, and i wouldn t suggest it because you get either constipation or diareah,among other health issues, but i have to say it works FAST. i USED to have a nutritionist at the gym who said instead of canned juice, use crystal lite packets to reduce liquid Cal s cus you dont notice but those add up quickly, he also said drink a glass of ice water once an hour because 1) it speeds up your motabolism (somehow) 2) your body burns cals warming up the water 3) its healthy for you? 4) it might make you feel more full. get an exercise plan and STICK to it. Even if its just a 30 minute walk per day. Eventually you will notice you will be able to walk further and further (or longer and longer) without getting tired as quick, as the weeks go by. I lost 65 pounds by doing small things like cutting off by more than half the things that i knew is shouldn t eat , before i lost the weight i over ate so i just cut my meals in half and started walking more for example i would park far from the entrance in the stores y would park far when i used to pick up the kids etc. and before i knew it everyone was telling me that i had lost weight and when i weighted myself i couldn t believe it

Eat the number of calories you need to be 15 lbs. lighter times 10. For instance if you are 150 and want to weigh 135 eat 1350 calories. And just as a caveat do not eat less than 1200 calories ever. It just isnt healthy.

I am 17 years old and am trying to lose like a couple pounds off of my legs, stomach, and face cuz those are my weaknesses. I have a system called the leg magic. Its a machine that really works out your legs. I do 5 sets of 30 but I was wondering if that is enough cuz i really want toned legs. I currently do 50 situps, 50 side crunches, and 50 bicycle situps. I skip some days which is not good though. Any other suggestions to help tone my body. Like how much cardio to do. Losing weight is difficult though because of all my cravings especially hot cheetos!

Your off to a great start, just gradually start to get more agressive with your workouts. Skipping days are fine, you at least need two or three days rest period. On the days you do workout try to add more repetitions because your body does get use to the same old same old. Try to begin walking and gradually start to jogging, jogging is the best way to lose weight. When it comes to food eat in portions and don t drink soda or juice, it s hard, but those are just extra calories that need to be getting rid of. Also at least 30 minutes of cardio is great, try to switch up the workouts that you do. Do yoga sometimes and pilates another. That is perfectly normal. A tiny bit on the heavy side, but then again I don t know if you re a boy or girl OR what kind of muscles you have.=)

You re considered to be in average for your BMI (body mass index) it depends on your build too. No two people will look the same at any given weight. If you re very petite body wise (small hips, shoulder span, chest span etc) you ll look completely different at 148 then someone with an athletic build or larger build in general.

That is a good weight now. You can slim down a bit by just walking if you want.

Your a little overweight. I am 5 ft 7 136 lbs and it says I am normal, and im also 16 years old. Just try walking or sit ups, just some type of cardio and just shed about 10 lbs and youll be fine.

Drink lots of water, eat more fruits and veggies, whole grains, nuts, beans, cut out junk food. Weight train and cardio.

I ve been eating smaller portions,for all 3 meals, and drinking a lot of water, and no Snacking. this seems to be helping. :) good luck

drink 2 cups of water in the morning before you eat that way youll get full fast because of water
