How much weight have you lost and how did you do it? How long did it take? -

I am NOT asking how to lose weight... I just would really like to hear some nice and motivational stories from real people and their actual experiences. I understand that in general you need to eat healthy and exercise daily to achieve actual weight loss. :o)Just any experiences from people would really be nice to read.

i was 171lbs last spring and i currently weigh 130lbs so i ve lost about 40lbs. it took me only 3-4 months because weight falls off me quickly and i have kept it off for a year. in order to lose weight i ate the same breakfast everyday and kept my calories to about 1500 and swam for 1 hour everyday. once a week i would give myself the taco bell or pizza whatever it was i wanted and eat whatever i wanted for that one day. i am now a size 2 and i feel happy with the way i feel and look and i think my boyfriend does too :D

after my first pregnancy i gain 30lbs, i tried to loss weight through exercise after that but i was successfully to loss weight of just 2 lbs after doing hard exercises.so i was disappointed on this stage, then one of my friend suggest me http://www.cleanserevolution.com/ ISagenix first i used isagenix 9 day program and loss almost 7lbs now a day i am trying isagenix 30 day program its really working for me and i hope i will become on the same weight where i was before pregnancy

my mom used to weight like 220 and now shes 130 and she s 42 but she looks 31 and it makes her look younger and it took her like 7 months she did it the healthy way but there was a time where she became obsessed with loosing weight and wouldnt eat anything but i snitched on her with her doctor and she reached to 110 and now shes healthy and looks alive.:)

I cut out processed carbs: White flour, white rice etc. Stayed far away from enriched foods. I started eating whole grains and whole wheat, lots of fruit and veggies. I stuck to a 1200 cal a day diet. Some may say that s low, but it works out for me. I cut out high fat foods of course, 26g maximum of fat daily. I walked/ran on a treadmill for 30min, 6 days a week, did free weight exercises 5days a week.I lost about 30lbs in 4 months. I only have about 10-15 more to go.

ive been on a diet for just 3 weeks and ive lost 10 pounds so far:) im a 17 year old girl and overweight and ive been eating really well and doing 30 mins cardio daily. its actually changed me into a whole different person, like im so much stronger already and i feel great:) i hope to lose 30 more pounds to be a perfect weight

Im 13 and perfectly healthy but my mom.....My mom has been big boned all of her life and about 3 years ago she was 300+ lbs. she realized she needed to workout. Then she joined Weight Watchers. Since then she has been seeing her weight watchers consultant and with her my mom had lost a whopping 230 and now she looks like she is 30 when she is 50. I am so proud of her. I ? MY MOMMY

About 30 lbs, within a year, i just made sure i walk through out the day more then used to, just running every day errands. and food wise i ate what ever i wanted but tried to reduce portions

I have lost 50 lbs of fat and gained some lbs in muscle. I was pretty over weight and out of shape. Now I am pretty fit and have a four pack - still working on the bottom 2 =).1. I drink Only* water, coffee, low fat milk, and sugar free tea.I avoid all soda s and juices which are full of calories and sugar.2. The only meats I eat are chicken and fish (grilled, NOT fried)chicken and fish are filled with protein and good* fats Low on badfats. I avoid beef and steaks which have a lot of saturated fat3. I eat only whole grains - whole grain bread, whole grain pasta, whole grain cereal, etc. whole grains are a great source of fiber andlow in bad carbs. I avoid all white breads and pastas which are filled with empty carbs and usually store as fat4. I eat plenty of fruits and vegetables with every meal.5. I lift weights 2-3 times a week. lifting weights builds muscle - -muscle burns fat. the more muscle you gain the more calories youburn throughout the day.I Also, (I know it sucks) cut out all the junk food - potato chips, candy, cakes, ice cream, etc, etc.And, I stay pretty active - taking the stairs instead of the elevator, walking the dog, doing lawn work, I ride a bike to work, clean house, play with my daughter, etc...I stay active, workout, and eat healthy - the best way (maybe only* way) to go

If I go on salad for one week, will this help me lose weight? -

I read a question on YA! and the ysaid: Salad is your best friend. One week of salad and you ll lose weight fast. I want to try it but will it really work?If I just eat salad for lunch and dinner (but a proper breakfast) for one week, will I see results? I will also eat fruits and have a few snacks - I m not trying to starve myself.

Exercise. Salad by itself is pointless.Athletes consume thousands of calories and aren t fat!

salad is a good source for the first two weeks, but you definitely need the protein as well. technically you are suppose to have 3 balanced meals a day, a long with 3 small snacks inbetween meals. fruits and veggies are great sources for snacks, but you always want to balance it with fiber grains. too much of certain things may make you gain more then what you want. especially with grains, since they are carbs they tend to build up quick, and some are harder to digest then others. fruits and some veggies have a lot of natural sugars in them, so they can be super good for you but there are a lot of sugars packed in other foods too. and of course protein, all meats are carb free but they are sometimes high in fat, which if you are a bodybuilder or an athlete, its beneficial; because you work it off quickly and build muscle faster. but all athletes have to balance their diet too. so everything can be a catch 22, you just have to make sure you balance everything you eat. you can have just about anything you want, but serving sizes make a huge difference and having certain amount of things all the time.

everyone need slim when they are fat. There are many solutions to change these but it is so difficult or easy depend on you and your understanding. Most of people always think that they will lose weight when they eat a little. They all get success but just the short time only. The best way, you should to go to see doctor and get his/ her consulting; then prepare your nutrition regularly. first, how many calories of meats, of vegetable, etc you eat per week. Second, cut down some food which has more sugar, bur, or cholesterol. Third, prepare the schedule for your exercise. Thanks!

well if you go on a diet you have to go of a diet so don t do anything to drastic beucase all the weight will come back on again. And also make sure you eat atleast 1200 calories a day becuase if you don t you will screw up your motaolism.

No cheese, olives, avocado, or croutons and light oil dressing and yes, you ll lose weight. Put on nuts, too.

It will give you some temporary weight loss, but it will all come back in the form of fat.

How do i lose weight fast? -

decrease your caloric intake and exercise. make sure you drink plenty of water, at least 8 glasses a day. always consult a physician before a diet or exercise. good luck

You might think about trying The Movie Star Diet. I lost 50 pounds with it after only five months, and I couldn t be happier. I ve tried a lot of different diets (Atkins, South Beach, and Weight Watchers, etc.) and none of them worked anywhere near as well as this one. It s definitely worth a shot if you really want to see a difference in a short time.

umm cut down your food in take but don t starve yourself that only leads to more things going wrong

Very simple cut down u any part of body and let to bleed in some moments either u will die or become slim and smart...after then if u remain alive..go to Doctor and make some bandages..ALL that SIMPLE..chaoo

If you skip meals or eat less, your body will store food with it thinking it wont be fed as often. So, don t do that. Ok?

it is not good to lose weight very fast(i m not suppose to tell ...)it is not at all good.......i m using elliptical trainer .....and now my tummy is just flattening (i burn atleast 500 calories a day..)......my calorie intake is only from 1200 to 1500 from monday to saturday .... and on sunday i cheat.....i eat every thing what i want...but not cheese....good luck!!!!

how fast is fast ? and under what conditions?i quit a med that was making me gain weight, and my doctor put me on a couple of meds wtih the side effect of weight loss. then i joined weight watchers and the gym. i lost 30lbs in 3 months.

How Do You Lose Weight Really Quickly? -

I need to drop a lot of weight before summer, Its February now. How do I lose weight fast without hurting my body or without having to break down and eat something? I ve been on diets but they never seem to work no matter how long I can last and how committed I am. Please help!

No flour, no sugar. And I mean NO flour..not even whole wheat stuff.Nothing with sugar or corn syrup in it. Drink lots of water and work out 3-4 times a week...1/2 hour of aerobic exercise (even walking in place will work) and 1/2 hour of weight training...the pounds will MELT off of you!

how i lost weight quickly was just eating dinner everyday (no breakfast..no lunch)..and mabey a lil snack..but thats it..and just water to drink..thats really the only way is to starve yourself a lil bit..but youll get used to it..and youll feel great and look great :)

best way it to have fruit and or cerial (red top milk) ,for breakfast, and salad or veg for dinner and teawith the veg eat healthy things with it like fish or plain chickenand with the salad tuna is nice , boil eggs , pasta that kind of thing, a handy thing to do is portion loads of fruit salads in food bags in the fridge it will only take you half an hour to prepare and if you do loads it will last about 3-4 days when you feel nibbley just have a portion, and drink loads and loads of water especialy at meal times fruit juice in the morning,go power walking it doesent make you dead tied but its realy good for you, walk as fast as you can in the last 15 mins and thats when the most fat burnsgood luck

Everything everyone else has said...and stop eating rice.Stop eating rice and carbohydrates and when you cook, use less oil, butter, margerine, etc. Replace you oil with vegetable shortening...Surviving on dinner isnt possible, so dont have dinner but lunch and breakfast(if you have time). For lunch eat light - pasta, vegetables etc.Breakfast eat quite some - sausage, eggs, bread etc.

No carbs. Have you tried to lose weight before? Some people can t lose weight no matter what. That could be the result of hypothyriodism. Eat what you usually do, but in smaller portions. Then, run till you drop 5 days every week. The key to losing fat is cardio. If it s difficult to stick to a diet, than exercise has to become your thing. Just make sure you re including fruits and veggies and drink pleanty of water.The soreness until you get used to it is motivation in that you know you re pushing your body, and soon enough you ll see results.Good luck with whatever you do!

all u have to do is eat salad. eat nothing but salad. no salad dressing. exercise for 3 hours everyday and ur pounds will melt off.no i am just joking do this.If you want to lose weight and keep it off try eliminating sugar, beef and fried foods from your diet. Eat only poultry or fish that is baked or grilled in small portions. Eat a balanced diet that includes only complex carbs such as whole grains and brown rice. Eat green vegetables and fruits 5 times per day. Exercise regularly including 3 days of 30 minute cardiovascular exercise and 3 days of strength and flexibility training per week. Drink 8-10 glasses of water every day.Breakfast - sandwich - 2 slices of light bread (I like a light italian you can find everywhere), a little light mayo, egg made from egg beaters, and some lettuce.3. 2 meals - each with 2 slices of light bread and some healthy choice TV dinners or similar. These aren the TV divvers we got as kids - these taste good. Don t butter the bread, etc. - just salt and pepper the food as desired. I usually soak up the gravy, etc. with the bread.4. Snacks - you an have another egg sandwich like above. The rest start with a light ranch dressing - compare bottles - some entire bottles have on 750 calories for the bottle, so unless you plan to dring it, it won t add many calories to you diet. Have this with as much celery as you want (I dip the celery into the dressing because I don t like the taste of celery), or pick up some pre-made salads making sure to compare calories and have 1 or 2 salads a day, or have as much iceberg lettuse as you want.5- Drinks - all the water, diet soda, diet cool aid, or Crystal Light you want. Make sure to drink a lot of fluids - normally a lot of your water comes from the food you eat, so you need another source since you aren t eating as much.6- track - pick the same time every day to weigh yourself. I usually do it just before getting into the shower each morning (which is when I am the lightest).
