Weight loss tips for a teenager around the age of 11? -
Being 11 does not make you a teenager
im fat too. I cut out all the crap and ate five fruits and in one day i had lost 2 pounds eating right is so important. Just walk more and eat healthy dont forget to drink plenty of water 8 glasses a day. hmm what else. Do all the basic exercises you know. And remember cardio - walking running swimming- is the most important to lose fat and then do the other things
TO LOSE WEIGHT JUST EAT PIZZAS, SPAGHETTI, LASAGNA DRINK ENSURE, LOADS OF CHOCOLATEMILK, TAKE VITAMINS, AND JUST DONT EXERCISE.
You can do jumping jacks, go running, sit ups, lunges, take a walk, push ups, not alot of sugar... fruit and vegtables!! goodluck
id wait till you are about 16... it could be puppy fat.i had alot, all when by the time i was 16
First Of All;Sweetie, 11 isn t a teenager, im a teenager, im FIFTEEN.Second; Check your BMI online cause u may not actually be fat Third, if u do, indeed, need to lose,Just Listen And Follow My Advice.Drop All Soda And Empty Calorie Drinks, They Add A Ton Of Calories.Replace them with diet or 0calorie drinks if u must.Eat Normal Healthy Meals, Say no to sweets most of the time, but it doesnt matter if u have *small* portions.Keep A Food Diary, Its the best thing you could do!!!!!it keeps me on tract, seriouslyy helpfull!!!Count All The Calories You Eat, They Do Matter, If Your Burn More Calories Than You Eat A Day You Lose Weight!!! =]Me, i do 1200-1400calories a day...You-11years old-still growing- need probably 1500 a day or more depedning on activity level/blahblah....search calorie calculator online it ll show u a bunch, try sparkteens for meal/excerise ideasGood Luck With ur weight loss girl!!!!xoxo
First, you are 11 and not a teenager.Second, it sounds like you need to get outside and play, be active. When I was your age, I played four square, dodge ball, baseball, jump rope, bike riding, etc. Children, and adults for that matter, were meant to be active.Stay away from the processed foods and try to eat as much natural food as possible. More fruits and vegetables and less pasta and sugar. Use whole grain bread instead of the soft white bread from refined flour. Use oatmeal with fruit instead of cheerios or fruit loops.Use grape juice and orange juice instead of Kool-aid.You get the idea.
Don t feel that you need to show these people anything. They re stupid, ignorant bullies. Stay healthy and you ll be the beautiful one later on.You re only 11. Are you sure you re overweight and it s not just puppy fat? You might grow out of it. I knew a lot of people in primary school who were chubby, but they were at a normal size in secondary school.Speak to your doctor and they could probably point you in the best direction for losing some weight, if you really do need to lose some. Don t go on any lose weight quick diets or anything like that because they re unhealthy and although you may lose weight quickly, it ll come back again just as quickly.
Ok, the good news is you are 11! If I d realized the path I was going down at 11, I d be safe off now at 15.Alrighty, I am not a professional, but this has worked for me.Me and my mom walk 2 miles almost daily. It helps to walk with someone, to keep you and them from quitting. Also walking away from home is best, so you HAVE to walk home and can t just press the stop button on a machine.Drink lots of water, with meals if possible. Cut out all junk. Soda, chips, sweets, they are all bad.For breakfast, I eat a really low calorie snack like a granola bar. (100 calories, it works well if you wake up late and just need to get by until lunch)I don t do much exercising other than daily walking. The longer you can stay active outside with friends the better off you are!Make sure you talk with your parents about all of your ideas, they can probably be very supportive.I ve lost 25 pounds in roughly three months just getting active and eating healthy. If you don t see results like that, don t be discouraged, that probably means you weren t eating so horrible to begin with like me. Everything takes time, especially weightloss. Just don t give up!You will be so much healthier after your work, and the added bonus is those kids will eat their own words, huh? :)I wish to you the best of luck! Wish me luck as well! And always remember, those kids who pick on you are very ugly on the inside.
Hey Jess! I m 13 y.o. now let me say something. I was like you when I was 11. I wanted to start losing weight when I was 8. So, my Dad gave me Tae-Bo tapes. It was effective. I also enrolled myself in swimming lessons. It was so nice. I learned to swim plus I lost weight and I had a lovely tan. Try to be active as much as you can. You re gonna lose your baby fats .Also, try lessening your carbohydrate intake (bred, rice, pasta etc.). Just take multi-vitamins to have a strong resistance.Learn to cary yourself. Don t use hairstyles/clothes that make you look fat. Get rid of the uncool fat girl . Hope this helps. Don t do very hard exercises that may harm you. Mwah! Take care Jess!

Decrease your intake and increase your exercise! By creating a 500 calorie deficit per day (whether it be by decreasing your intake, increasing your exercise, or a combination of both), you will lose a pound a week -- and keep it off. Never consume less than 1200 calories a day. This will only hurt you in the long run as it messes up your metabolism. Loosing weight gradually at a rate of a pound per week is more effective and better for you than loosing weight at a fast pace.Tips:1. Replace soda and juice with water. Liquid calories can really add up.2. Eat slowly to allow your body to send a satiety signal to the brain.3. Eat lots of fiber as it keeps you full for longer! Apples (with skin) and oatmeal are excellent sources of fiber.4. Park your car a little further from your office, grocery store, wherever! Walking is great exercise. Good luck!
ok. Drink lots of water- this will help reduce bloating. exercise at least an hour before eating to speed up your metabolism. avoid alcohol, as it is packed full of sugar and with cause water retention. stick to a healthy balanced diet packed full of fruit and veg to keep your energy and vitamin levels up. eat lots of carbs and proteins to keep your energy up- which will help your burn off more calories. aim for small goals like a loss of 1-2lbs per week, and that way by doing it healthily it will stay off and you will feel better in yourself.
I have been through it all and know what s it about. The main thing is to stick in there. You can t be an addict to food and never exercise if you want to live a healthy life and keep the weight off. I ve worked out, done every diet, and all types of classes. Nothing works, besides dedication and intelligence towards the subject of losing weight. First, depending on how much weight you need to lose, your diet is the first concern. You can t eat 10,000 calories a day and expect the weight to come off, even if you are exercising a lot. Which brings us to the next thing. Duh, Exercising...This is a must especially if you need to a lot of weight. Get at least 30 mins of some good hardcore exercising. Do some cardio, in the long run, it s good for the heart. However, I find the most hardest part of losing weight/keeping it off, in my diet. It s so hard to keep your fingers out of the cookie jar or those chocolate goodies. I ve found a great addition to help any one out, it s a natural weight loss supplement called Proactol. Now don t get all crazy on me and say diet pills don t work. That is true, but not in this case. This one isn t meant to burn pounds while you sit on the couch. It s an appetite suppressant, along with being a fat binder. I saved money on the pills at theweightlossplace.com along with getting some good info. It basically makes those fingers not go towards the cookie jar. For me it s the best pill I ve tried and I ve tried cupboards full. Now this doesn t mean you have to follow my foot steps but I ve successfully lost roughly 70 pounds and keeping it off til this day. Well good luck and remember what I said, Dedicate.

TEENAGERS - weight loss? -
Breakfast-No fat YogurtLunch-SaladDinner-Grilled Chicken SaladAnd Drink Lots of Water
You may have no extra weight to lose, dear- just a thought. Muscle weighs more than fat, and if you are working out to the extend you say you are, you probably don t have much to lost. Unless you also eat like an elephant, and eat a lot of high calorie things. The best diet is a sensible balanced one. As long as you are a teenager, you are still growing. You grow inside and out, so it s not always visible. Calorie restrictions are not a good idea, as it limits the amount of building material you have available to do the work of building you and doing repairs. The best diet is one that provides a good balance of things, with no particular food being bad or off limits. The FDA site has a lot of really good information about what a teen diet should be like, to help you make the wise choices. In the end, it does come down to calories though. If you eat more calories than you expend over several days time, you gain weight. If you eat fewer calories, you lose. It s not the intake of any one day that tilts the scale, it s a matter of several days or a week that are most important. So it s an average dailly intake of calories that you look at, using a week s worth of calorie intake to get the average. Portion size would play into the calorie counting, obviously. While there aren t any bad foods, there are most definitely foods you should eat less of, less often than others. Your diet should be heavy on the whole grains, fruits and veggies, and light on fats and sugars. Obviously, you want to avoid much in the empty calorie category, like soda- but then again, a soda every so often isn t going to kill you either. Offset a high fat, high calorie meal with a low fat, low calorie meal. It s a matter of balance, really. A little of what you crave and a lot of what is good for you. The key is moderation, not excess and not deprivation. Check out the FDA site, and go from there.
How to lose weight/tone up? -
Think about this, your body make up and build is basically the same as an all star athlete, a hard working farmer, and a warrior in Africa. What s the difference between you and those other individuals? I can only assume it s diet and exercise. Try to eat healthy at every meal. Only drink water. Lots of fruit and vegetables, not much fried stuff, skip desserts, eat smaller portions.then as for exercise, Think about those same individuals mentioned earlier. do you think their daily routine is equivelent to some 30 minute cardio workout? no, see if you can ride your bike to work, or jog for an hour or two each day.basically, live like a regular human being. Treat your body in a way that makes it healthy, not temporarily happy.
Cardiovascular exercises (running, walking, aerobics, etc. including your ellipical machine) won t help you tone up much, though it might help you lose weight by burning calories. If you want tone, you re going to have to do strength building exercises to increase the mass of your muscles. You ll have to start doing crunches, weight lifting, etc. Bicycle crunches are the best for the abs.
I m kind of like you. Here s what I did: I went on a cleanse from Dr Livingston s book greenlife weight loss and it helped me to lose my belly and love handles. I went on it for 3 days on and took 3 days off and then did another 3 days. This worked awesome and helped me to overcome my plateau. I think his site is http://www.greenlifeweightloss.com, try it, if not just google GreenLife Weight Loss and something should pop up. Good Luck!
Well i used to be big and i got in shape and i think the most important thing is that you have to be persistant.a good way to burn fat though is to run for 15-20 minutes then right away move on to doing a core excercise such as sit-ups or push-ups.
Try
Get off the elliptical, do sit ups, stop shoving brownies down the hole in your neck.
Conditioning work outs. Lots of reps of small weights to burn fat and tone out muscles and such.
Do some cardio like jogging or running, jumping on a trampoline.and do some light weight lifting.
Do 20-30 minutes of cardio 4-5 times a week, then follow with weights. (push ups. crunches. squats. free weights. etc.)
Do Tae Kwon Do.
don t! guys like girls who are curvy.
