Does working out in the heat /actually/ make you lose weight faster? -

It s like.. a really warm day, and I was playin hacky sack for like nearly an hour, and it got difficult to keep it up. Like other nights we can play for a few hours, or at least an hour and a half. Today, it made me think about if it really helps you lose weight faster if you re out in the heat, cuz everyone says that s the way it is, but I was never really sure. I thought I would consult the Internet. ^-^Thank you.

yes, but playing hacky sack isn t working out. you get drunk faster in the heat, and that s not working out either.

well you are covered in more sweat because its hot and your body is trying to cool itself down. i don t know if you do or not, but when you sweat you sweat out toxins, so maybe in a way you are losing weight. also drinking a lot of water flushes your system and suppresses your appetitie and all. so maybe you are losing weight,-and if so, good for you!

Yes, but it is water weight. Your body is using more water to keep you cool, so you need to drink more water when you are out exerting yourself in the heat!

i work for a living in the heat....i think you only lose water weight...i have nt seem to lose any real amount of LB s..and it s been 8yrs!!!

You will definatley lose weight faster but it will be water not fat. However, working in the heat will make you fitter

You can definitely lose weight by being more active. As in walking more often, because every time you move your burning calories.

Just go the gym and get real okay?Or swim, or cycle, or run up and down the stairs five times a day - but I can assure you that there would be no world obesity problem if the solution was to stand up for seven hours a day five days a week just walking, bending or stretching.Oh would that it were that simple!

That sounds like a waste of time...lolNo need to stand for seven hours..Walk for thirty minutes a day, and the changes will be noticed!

any exercise helps, but if what you describe makes you lose weight, why are there so many big cashiers and shelf stockers?

i am going on a long holiday in 4 weeks and have quite a bit of weight to lose before i go. has anyone got any quick diet tips or answers to my problem?

go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food after 7 p.m.I know a woman who lost 60 pounds a month on it. She did nothing else!

Don t eat any food AT ALL with higher than 10 % fat and do sit ups. That s what i did and i got a four pack!

we have a drink here called slimfast. It available in lots of flavors. If you have one for breakfast and a peice of fruit, one for lunch, and then a salad for dinner as well as lots of water, green tea for a snack. you should be able to lose 2lbs a week.

How to lose weight fast? -

im a guy probably 5 10 and i weigh about 170 and has stretch marks... over the summer i have lost about 10 pounds which i am proud of but i am not getting it off fast enough... and i work out atleast 4 times a week..

Try this, you can feel and see results in about three days. Muscle will outweigh the fat so don t let the scale discourage you :).For exercise, try switching it out everyday, so your body doesn t get used to the exercise (Monday Arms, Tuesday Stomach, Wednesday Legs, Thursday Rest, Friday Arms, Saturday Stomach, Sunday Legs). Also, one the days where legs or stomach or arms come back around the second workout of the week focusing in that area, try switching the exercise out too. For arms maybe lift weights (if you have none then use cans and be sure to hold them away from you or they won t work). For stomach, you can sit on a bouncy ball and do crunches (don t hold onto your legs), for legs, maybe lay on your side propped up on your elbow and lift the top leg slowly up and down, then switch. If you are can t exercise an hour, that s fine but try increasing the time every week or so. If you are old enough to buy equiptment or go to a gym, try that. As you get further into it, maybe you can buy some equipment for mainly those three areas I listed. Also, walk home from places or on the commercial break, get up and run wall to wall.Also, a REALLY good workout is at youtube.com and search for 8 minute abs, 8 minute legs, 8 minute buns, and 8 minute arms. Try doing these on other days (ex.: Monday arms and workout from youtube, Tuesday legs not workout from youtube, Wednesday stomach and 8 minute abs, Thursday rest, Friday arms no 8 minute arms, Saturday no 8 minute abs, Sunday 8 minute legs. Try doing those how I listed above and don t do it more than once a day along with your daily workout.For food, which is very important (70% of weight loss is food intake while 30% is excercise, though both are VERY important), try this schedule.Breakfast:Whenever you wake up or an hour after.Drink of choice: One hour after breakfast (all other drinks being water.Lunch: 1 1/2 hours after drink of choice.Snack: 1 1/2 hour after lunch (or two hours after lunch).Dinner: 2 hours after snack.Try portioning your food, one cup for meals and half a cup for snacks and drink of choice. As you get more used to this, you can decrease your portion sizes.Also try measuring your calorie intake and try exercising over the amount of your intake to build muscle which burns access fat. cut back on how many calories you eat a day.also work out a few times a week.believe me it works i lost like 40 pounds doing this.

check you body metabolism first. you can do this by eating regularly and do 1 hour jogging in place everyday for 1 week. check weight difference. you should lose around 3500 calories or 1 lbs of fat but it depends on your weight because the higher the weight the more calories are burned during that exercise. drink a lot of plain water.from that result you can figure yourself whether your diet need to be checked or you just need to do exercise regularly. but remember that people gain weight because they take more daily calories intake than it is needed by their body to maintain their weight.this extra calories will be stored as fact little by little until they notice the difference when something don t fit as it used to be. check my profile if you need more info on losing weight.

You can lose weight fast, and you can lose it safe... but never at the same time... if it s fast then it s not safe... and if it s safe it s not fast.. you know what I mean?For a good fast way to lose weight, get your doctor to prescribe amphetamines, then all you gotta worry about is getting off of em lol, but you ll look great, and ripped too they make you wanna mooooove.For a good safe way to lose weight... call a group of people a very offensive name, then run home ... do this four times a week.
