The key is diet diet and exercise. You need to eat 5-6 small meals a day. Eat some protein with each meal! Cut out all refined sugar!!! Also add more fiber. The fiber and protein will fill you up, helping you to cut down on your unhealthy eating. Also by eating more than 3 meals spread out through the day you will kick your metabolism in high gear. Here is a general meal for a day:Breakfast: 2 poached eggswhole wheat toast1/2 cup fruitSnack: Cottage Cheese with veggieLunch: Turkey, lettuce, tomato, whole wheat bread sandwich1/2 cup fruitSnack: Protein ShakeDinner: Turkey Burger ( no bun )Side of brown riceSide of Broc. Then exercise regularly 4-5 days a week. Do both cardio and lifting. But on days that you do both. Do lifting before your cardio and you will maximize your fat burn. Cardio can be a sport: basketball, soccer, football, anything with losts of movement. Golf is a no no.So Example :Monday - 30 mins lifting then 1 hr cardioTuesday - 1 hour liftingWednesday - RestThrusday - 30 mins lifting then 1 hr cardioFriday - 1 hour liftingSaturday - RestSunday - 30 mins lifting then 1 hr cardioFor exercises check out:http://www.xercisefactor.comThey have hundreds of exercise video clipsAlso check out the Workouts tab. My suggestion is to cut back on all the high calorie snacks, or even cut out the snacks altogether.Because that s one of the harder solutions, I would also suggest moderate changes to your life style. Such as walking more, eating more vegetables (especially greens), or just checking the nutrition facts on the foods you eat, and making better choices based on that. And just for the record, I m working on the same problem, so I ve done some researchAs for the numbers, you specifically should be getting between 1500 to 1700 calories a day. So if you want to lose weight, you need to burn more calories than you take in, which would be about 500 calories a day. Which you could achieve by either burning 500 more calories than usual, burning 250 more, and eating 250 less than usual, or just eating 500 less. This is if you want to lose one pound in one week. You can lose more or less, by varying calorie burning and intake proportionally
You have to come up with some type of a reward system, this will help keep you motivated. One of the best things to do is make a contingency contract. Stating what you want to do, who will help you do it, and what do you get for doing it. Then also try to find a well balance diet program. My friend did this one diet program where the average weight lose is 7 pounds in 9 days. It might be the thing you are looking for, I know it s well balanced. If you want e-mail me and I can tell you more about either of these.
being healthy is more important than being skinny. Plus, being a little chubby can be pretty depending on how you carry yourself. If you walk around all sluggish and self conscious then you are gonna be unattractive. If you carry yourself with confidence though, you re going to be beautiful to people. However if you are concerned with your weight than start eating healthier ( eat less junk food and more natural food, less chips and sodas more water and milk and fruits and veggies) and start exercising regularly ( I recommend something that is interesting to you whatever it is and if you have a WII then start playing 30 minutes of WII sports every day). Just remember beauty is on the inside first and always. CONFIDENCE IS BEAUTY! hope this helps.
