Weight loss help please :]? -

Alright, so i have about a month to lose a good amount of weight.Whats the best thing to do from keep me from over eating? and snacking after school when im the more hungry.BEST WEIGHT LOSS TIPS PLEASE. and thank you :]

First of all, don t crash diet, but don t pig out (i know, its tempting :-) ) but eat healthy but good tasting things instead, and after school, there is no way to really truly not be tempted, you just need to push past and think of how great you will look at the event in one month that you are losing weight for. And exercise.

You cant lose a signifigant ammount of weight in a month. Dont be disappointed when you fall short of your goal.Exersise is critical, but diet is 75% of weight loss.Eat whole grains, limit your milk intake to a 16oz a day or less, and make sure its skim.Baked chicken, steamed veggies, whole grain pastas. All are fantastic.Dont focus on lowering your calories right now, first concentrate on cleaning up your diet. And spacing your meals out.Big meals are bad, lots of small meals are best, its like constant light snacking every 2 hours. You only need to lower your calorie intake by about 200 from what it is now especially if you start doing cardio and light weight work.DO NOT drastically decrease your calories at any time, this will crash your metabolism, make you too tired to exersise, and will cause you to put on fat as your body slows your metabolism.A clean diet is a must, its not very tasty, but I promise it is very very filling you will not go hungry.

You have to come up with some type of a reward system, this will help keep you motivated. One of the best things to do is make a contingency contract. Stating what you want to do, who will help you do it, and what do you get for doing it. Then also try to find a well balance diet program. My friend did this one diet program where the average weight lose is 7 pounds in 9 days. It might be the thing you are looking for, I know it s well balanced. If you want e-mail me and I can tell you more about either of these.

Okay so to lose a lot of weight in little time here s what you have to do:*Eat three healthy meals a day*When you snack eat fruits and vegies*To lose the weight you must diet AND exercise*Drink lots of water, if it helps make that all you drink*Follow the food pirimid, and don t eat more than what that tells you to* Don t be self conscious by calling it a diet, instead call it a life change*Don t think about it to much* Breath in through your nose out through your mouth, you d be surprised how much that helps* Make sure your room is clean, it gives you good atmosphere for weight loss* Eat sitting up, not laying down*Eat in your kitchen not in your room, at a table*Make sure your eating space is clean*Get 8 hours of sleep* Wake up earlier*Have good personal Hygine* Don t look in the mirror constantly*Stay away from stress* Make your bed every morning* Set aside relaxation time*Drink a cup of tea every night before going to bedIf you do these things, even the ones that sound silly TRUST me you will lose weight. Losing weight isn t a quick thing its a life changing process that has to be kept up... Good luck and the best of wishes :)

Look up how many points you should eat with the Weight Watchers plan. Keep track of your points each day and do not go over. This will make you more aware of everything you put in your mouth so you do not over eat.Good luck! I use this to make sure I don t over eat and lost all of the weight I wanted. It s also a much healthier way to change the way you eat.

u must must have 3 meals a day: (i did not copy paste this)beakfast: whole wheat toast, jam or any spreading u like,do not use butter-thats got fat in it..if u wanna use butter use a substitute for it like margerine, oatmeal is good too with honey. AVOID FOOD WITH SUGAR,like pancakes, waffles, cereal with sugar in them, sugar is a big no no!..and lay off the coffee for a while too..have orange juice instead (with no added sugar)dont drink whole cream milk either,go for low fat,its healthierfor lunch have a piece of chicken or streak with some saladand trust me...have u heard the saying: breakfast, eat like a king, dinner eat like a poor man its true!!they usually recommend that you not eat after 5 or 7pm,because at night if u stuff urself ull wake up a couple of pounds heavier! so keep it VERY simple,no fat no sugar and dont eat after those timmings ive told you.another thing,do not,i repeat do not! SNACK in between meals!! if u must, snack on some carrot sticks, dry fruit,nuts,etc..no soda, chocolate (dark chocolate is okay),anything with sugar is bad (which im sure u know) and bread and rice are very fattening, and last but not least NO TAKE-OUT!hope that helped...it was from my own knowledge.. :)

keep yourself busy, when youre hungry instead of grabbing food grab a bottle of water or glass of milk. also you should start eating smaller portions; you could eat 8 times a day, as long as you have small portions of it.just make sure its not sometime extremely fat like doritos (;

You have to have a little self control not to eat all that crap. You re going to have to take up some cardio if you want to loose weight as well as eating right. WATER is very important so drink lots of it.

hi. i am over weight too and i could loss weight with dieting tips and exercise in 3 weeks. i found this website very useful, hope helps you. good luckhttp://weight-loss-health.blogspot.com/(its not my site so please don t ask more)

do workout for 45 min a day, morning walk would be best...take ample amt of fruits,salad.. instead of fatty food

Best Weight loss tips?!?!? -

I would like to loose some weight, can anyone please tell me any tips at all that they think might help?

The first thing is, CONTROL YOUR EATING.Eat slowly and eat small portions. DO NOT SNACK.It is that simple, but it s not easy. You can t exercise if you are full and always digesting food.Exercise after you have learned how to feed yourself. But, think about it. If there were really any other HUGE reasons that people were overweight, then would stomach stapling work as well as it does? You are fat because of your diet. Period. End of discussion.Everyone will tell you what you want to hear, because they are selling something. Your eating isn t an addiction. It is not an illness. Your weight isn t glandular or just how you are.Stop eating crap. Let yourself be in a state of moderate hunger most the time. You will need to learn how to ignore your stomach and listen to your blood sugar. There are many signals that tell you when and what to eat, learn to listen to them and not your stomach. The other big thing you need to do is this, don t use food as a treat. If you want to enjoy yourself, or feel pleasure, don t use food. Don t be that person who works hard all week, and then cancels out the week s work by eating a reward of food.Don t use artificial sweeteners. They will make it harder. Artificial sweeteners make you accustomed to high levels of sweetness. This is bad for two reasons: first, you seek out things that are increasingly sweeter; second, healthy foods like apples seem bland after you have bludgeoned your tongue with aspertain all day.I have a friend who has lost 60 pounds in 6 months and is healthy. After 4 months, he allowed himself a meal as a treat and found that he couldn t finish it.

Try Dr. Love s Fiber Diet. Eat only foods high in fiber and you ll loose the weight. Simple as that.

think how fit you would look after you ve lost some weight, dont give up giving up! :D ^^

Eat smaller portions, exercise.

Water, veggies, lean protein, fiber, fruits, good fats like olive oil and avocado, exercise to get the heart going, and weight training. just ask dr. oz. he s the best!

limit calorie intake to 1500 a day or slightly below. Follow with 30 minutes of exercise a day, low impact like walking to start off with. Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day, more if you can manage it.Sample Day of Meals would be:Breakfast(7am): 1 pack of instant oatmeal, glass of water, 1 piece of wheat bread toastedSnack(9:30am) 100 calorie pack of oreos, chips ahoy, etc. and waterLunch(12:00): Healthy Choice, Lean Cuisine or Weight Watchers frozen meal, watersnack: (3:00) 100 calorie pack of chips/cookies, or some vegetables like celery, carrots, etc. whatever fits in your calorie countDinner(6:00) 1 boneless skinless chicken breast, green beans, salad with fat free dressingLate Night Snack only if you have NOT gone over your 1500 calories for the day. I skipped this snack.Notes: It will seem like it costs more at first to eat right, and it does, but once you learn how to manage your calorie intake you will find that you can eat healthy for a good price. It will not be easy, and you will feel hungry at times. That is ok, you should feel hungry =) Drink some water to help curb your appetite. Doing this you should lose from 2 to 4 pounds a week. Weigh yourself only once a week. don t do it day to day because the results will differ and you may get discouraged. After your body has adjusted to the diet and you have lost a decent amount of weight (12-15 lbs) you can step up the calorie count by 300 and increase your cardio exercise from 30 mins to 45 to an hour depending on how you feel afterwards. Hope this helps and good luck!!

Loosening weight inst easy it takes hard work to look good. you need to have a plan and be motivated. First you need to know you can do it and be willing to put time aside for your health.Diet and Exercise.Find a diet that you can incorporate in your life style.Grape dietThree day dietZone dietAre the best I ve see yet.Find a gym that you feel comfortable going to!Good luck!

This helped me:Walking. Take a one hour walk every day.

Dont eat so much. Avoid buffets, fried food, fast food and greasy stuff (did I just repeat myself 3 times?) Eat smaller portions.. Eat a lot of salads with no dressing.

Everything in moderation.

exercise, eat smarter, drink water

dont drink a lot of pop, go on a diet, dont eat heavy foods eat light, drink a lot of water, exercise, and maybe lifting weights. :)

Check out South Beach diet, has been great for me.

Water! Drinking water helps with bloat and helps you feel full before eating a big meal so you don t over do it.

Hi there...I have heard recently that soup makes you feel more full without actually consuming much energy...so before a meal have a quick cup of soup in the hope you will not be so hungry and eat as much! Thanks bi!

STOP EATING

eat breakfast, eat healthy, exercise, try not to stress, don t overindulge.

a spoon full of peanut butter and honey for breakfast and snacks. If you are not allergic

DRINK WATER, BEFOR AND AFTER MEALS. MY HUSBAND STARTED DOING THAT AND THEN HE JUST STARTED SHEEDING WEIGHT, 20 LBS IN 3 MONTHS AND STILL GOING. TRY NOT TO EAT ALREADY PREPARED MEALS ALL THE PRESERVATIVES ARE WHAT EFECCT YOUR BODY. PREPARE YOUR MEALS AND GO ORGANIC, (NO CHEMICALS)

portion control

eat healthy. eat snacks. do some exercise. Walk. buy isagenix.

I would excercise a lot. Diet a bit, but don t cut down on anything important. Allow yourself a treat every so often. Never go anorexic, its a horrible look, and sooo bad for you.Oh, and drink loads of water, while not putting on water weight...

i went on the nutrisystem diet and lost 11 pounds in three weeks. its really all about portion size.

the salad thing is good but dont get salads from ANY fast food place. its just as bad as a burger or whatever. excercise, drink water, more veges/fruits, whole wheat stuff is also good.

cut back on your calories, drink plenty of water, cut back on salt intake, excersie

How much do you eat in a day? If you eat about 1400 calories AND work out you ll lose weight. And remember not to weight train because muscle is heavier than fat. Do cardio excercises like running and stuff.

Weight loss tips for children? -

My 11 year old son weighs 98kg and I have been getting him on the treadmill everyday where he burns 600 calories, but he isn t losing weight! He drinks water and is always hungry. Can anyone help please?

make sure he is eating the right things, letting him burn calories but eat a bag of chips doesn t work. He is a growing child so you can t diet him to the extreme. Have three meals and two snacks. The snacks under 100 calories light maybe yogurt or fruit. Main meals being packed with protein and not with fat. Eggs, Chicken, Salad, Salmon. Light but healthy meals. Keep little to no fatting foods around the house make sure he stays away from items with caffeine. Pack his lunch when he goes to school school lunches have so many empty calories, and instead of shoving him on the treadmill go on a family bike ride or a long walk if you don t make it fun he will never want to lose the weight.

First off Don t buy anything these idiots are trying to sell you here. He needs to eat whole foods, stay away from sweets and treats. The treadmill is probably not enough. Get him on the football pitch, the skateboard, tennis court, basketball court, get his but outdoors runnin and funnin . Although your son needs to shed some weight, he is only eleven. Don t panic but change his habits best as you can.

yes1. less simple carbs2. less sugary fruit juices3. more vegetables and fruit4. more protein foods to keep them lean5. more organized exercise..6. get them more involved in recreational activiites sports

increase whole foods, add new exercises like weights, NO weight lifting does not stunt your growth... actually because it increases key hormones in the enocrine system especially gh he ll actually probably grow more

It might be time to see a doctor. They and nutritionalists are better suited to tell you how to deal with that than random people on the internet.

Advanced weight loss tips? -

can someone plz give me some advanced weight loss tips that really work plz. Im like 5 6 and i weigh like 180. i am 14 years old. can someone help me PLZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

holly crap ur like my twin only 2 yrs younger!! water about 120 ounces. i take in about 160 ounces :)run for like 30 minslift weights for 30 mins eat healthy....make sure to lift weights!!!! more muscle more calories it burns.. :Dgood luck buddy!

I have been through it all and know what s it about. The main thing is to stick in there. You can t be an addict to food and never exercise if you want to live a healthy life and keep the weight off. I ve worked out, done every diet, and all types of classes. Nothing works, besides dedication and intelligence towards the subject of losing weight. First, depending on how much weight you need to lose, your diet is the first concern. You can t eat 10,000 calories a day and expect the weight to come off, even if you are exercising a lot. Which brings us to the next thing. Duh, Exercising...This is a must especially if you need to a lot of weight. Get at least 30 mins of some good hardcore exercising. Do some cardio, in the long run, it s good for the heart. However, I find the most hardest part of losing weight/keeping it off, in my diet. It s so hard to keep your fingers out of the cookie jar or those chocolate goodies. I ve found a great addition to help any one out, it s a natural weight loss supplement called Proactol. Now don t get all crazy on me and say diet pills don t work. That is true, but not in this case. This one isn t meant to burn pounds while you sit on the couch. It s an appetite suppressant, along with being a fat binder. I saved money on the pills at theweightlossplace.com along with getting some good info. It basically makes those fingers not go towards the cookie jar. For me it s the best pill I ve tried and I ve tried cupboards full. Now this doesn t mean you have to follow my foot steps but I ve successfully lost roughly 70 pounds and keeping it off til this day. Well good luck and remember what I said, Dedicate.

Weight Loss Tipshttp://weightlossweightloss.blogspot.com- Water - Water helps to lose weight. I need diet advice.....................................? -

i am 5 4 and 140lbs. i have already lost 17lbs and i want to lose 15 more lbs in the next couple of months. how do i lose my stubborn belly fat so i can show off the ab muscles i have underneath? i want a flat stomach so that i can fit into jeans easier and look better with t-shirts on. also, whenever i eat, i feel like my stomach gets bloated and my stomach sticks out of my shirts more, you know, the area above my navel. i just feel like my whole stomach area (from sternum to gut) protrudes and it makes me not very confident. i would really like some weight loss tips please. thank you for your time.

2 1/2 years ago I wanted to lose about 30 lbs. After doing research on a lot of diets, I found only 1 that really had a lot of scientific support. It is called Calorie Restriction (CR for short) and has only 2 rules:1. Cut your calories significantly (20% to 30%)2. Make sure you get 100% of your nutritional needs. You can eat anything you want, as long as it fits within those rules.I lost 1 to 2 lbs per week . In fact, I had to up my calories to keep from losing faster than that, which would be unhealthy. I lost the 30 lbs and I have kept the weight off.The hard part of CR is tracking your calories and nutrition. I carry around a piece of paper and jot down what I eat soon after I eat it, so I don t forget, which is easy to do. Then each day or so, I add up all the calories and nutrients. It is a pain. But the payoff is great. Here is a wonderful website for getting nutrition information:http://www.nutritiondata.com/I would suggest this diet only for an adult who is willing to keep track of nutrition. Cutting calories without good nutrition is unhealthy. The thing about the diet is that scientists and companies are interested in it because it not only makes animals much healthier (much less heart disease, cancer, etc), it makes them live longer. In the case of rats and mice, 20% to 30% longer. No one knows if this will happen in humans yet, but the health benefits for humans show up pretty quickly, too (lowered cholesterol, lower LDL, lower weight, etc). I intend to stick with this diet the rest of my life, just because of all the benefits that happened to me.A couple of month s ago I started a website to keep track of my personal results, show some of the most interesting scientific results, and link to other websites/blogs where people discuss their experiences, give recipes, etc. The website is:http://www.nbrhd.net/CR/CR.htmHope your dieting works out well. Congratulations on already having lost 17 lbs. That is pretty impressive.Best of luck,Bob

When you eat unhealthy for such a long time, your blood changes in such a way that it cannot carry toxins and heavy metals out of the body. Also unhealthy eating results in unhealthy excretory organs. If the body cannot get rid of waste then it stores them in fat bone and muscle which can fool people into thinking that they are over fat, but rather over toxic. The body stores them to keep them from damaging organs and out of circulation. Also heavy metals and toxins all carry a positive charge so the body considers them to be electrolytic, so the body will store more water which just makes you look even fatter.Trick is in most cases get rid of the toxins and heavy metals and you will find the weight will come of extremely quickly even without excercising. The body will do anything to get healthy given half a chance and it sees toxins as extremely unhealthy. What happens is eat healthy (lots of raw vegetables) and it changes the blood and organs in a way that that it can start to get rid of toxins in the blood at the particular time. In the body things move from high concentration to low concentration. Get rid of toxins in the blood and guess what you have low concentration in the blood and high concentration in fat, bone and muscle so they end up coming out and as long as you keep eating healthy the exchange will continue to take place. Good thing for you is the fat stores seem to go first then muscle then bone. The best thing to do is eat lots of raw vegetables. I cant stand raw vegetables but I love them when they are all blended up with some all natural fruit juice.Avoid as many toxins as possible. You want to get your blood more alkaline, if you are fat then you can bet your acidic. Visit this site: Its easily the best http ://home. bluegrass. net/~jclark/alkaline_foods. htmDepening on how fat you are its really not good to do intense hard workouts, it can indirectly make you even fatter. As you produce lactic acid the body uses alkaline stores to carry it out of the body, so if your short on stores in the first place its only making matters worse. For the time being dont do anything that makes you out of breath. The body wants to be healthy and if your struggling to breath then thats your bodys way of telling you that it is struggling to remove the lactic acid you have produced, its telling you to slow down. (breathing is one of the body s ways to maintain ph balance in the blood) you will learn all this when you visit the website. Also the best thing about eating not just healthy foods but alkaline forming foods is the body night and day even when you sleep, especially when you sleep will be detoxifying itself, hence losing weight.Aslo it increases your energy levels, heavy metals displace magnesium, muscles need magnesium to contract, so eliminate heavy metals and then magnesium can get to it s binding site resulting in more potentially expendable energy.Bottom line get healthy by eating healthy and the body will by itself asap get back to a healthy weight range which is deemed attractive to the human mind.Iam a personal trainer and am a health nut so i know what im talking about. There is a product I endorse, Its an amazing product for detoxifying the body. You can get it at wholesale price at:www. zeolitesfordetox. com/davidlawrenceemail me for more info and/or referencesAlso email me for a simple easy procedure you can do at home that will drastically improve your health.davrlaw@yahoo.comHope this helps

Because of a knee injury I cant run or do squats or any of those things. I am a very physically active person, so watching this weight pile on is absolutely DESTROYING me! I worked so hard to have a good body and now its gone. What are some things I can do to lose 20 pounds or so before my cruise march 21? Thanks! (is there any healthy pills or vitamins that help aid in weight loss? I am 16 sooo ya.)

Although exercise is great it is not necessary. However, an exercise that you can do as suggested by some other posts are sit-ups. Put a ball about the size of a soccer ball behind your back so as you come back to the floor you get extra extension and build more muscle. Breakfast:An egg with whole grain bread or your half cup of oatmeal, millet is also great. Lunch--whole grain bread with almond or cashew butter and a piece of fruit.. or can of sardines in water or tomato sauce--no peanuts as they have mold and a lot of people are really allergic and don t know it. Dinner--salad without dressing--flavor with oregano, cracked pepper, salt (Morton lite salt), crushed red pepper, small amount of nuts...one serving of chicken, fish, turkey, or pork--stay away from deli meats--they re high in salt. Do not drink diet drinks--they actually make you gain weight. Use stevia as a sweetener. Back to dinner. Definitely a vegetable like broccoli, green beans, collard greens, carrots, and small serving of potatoes, sweet potatoes or rice. For twenty-six free pointers on nutritional eating to drop weight go tohttp://dstressdoc.com/Articles/LoseWeighBe healthy and well,Richard K

Losing 20lbs by March 20th is doable but probably not 20lbs of fat. If you just want to get smaller and lose 20lbs of fat muscle you can probably do that, but this won t necessarily make you look better. You are better off to lose as much body FAT as you can rather than lose muscle because you will look leaner. The good news for you is that weight loss is at least 70% diet and at most 30% exercise. Here s what you can do...even with a knee injury (assuming you can walk). Day 1-3: Write down everything you put in your mouth and the serving size. Add up the total calories you eat each day. Now take the average of those 3 days. For example:Day 1: 2,600 caloriesDay 2: 2,300 caloriesDay 3: 2,500 calories The average of these 3 days would be: 2,466Now consume 60% of those calories each day. Since you don t have much physical activity this is okay because your body will still be getting the calories it needs to function properly but your metabolism will still be going pretty strong. This should cut about 10-15lbs off of you in 3 weeks. If you feel you aren t losing weight fast enough you could walk on a treadmill at an incline of say 6-10 and at a nice pace of 3-4mph. Good Luck!If you have any questions just ask.

I also hurt my knee and gained weight. My solution was eating one cup of Dannon Light Fit Yogurt, as well as a NutriGrain bar, every day. I ate everything else that I wanted, and I lost 8 pounds in two weeks. If you did this diet until March, I bet you could lose 20 pounds. (:Also, I did 50 crunches a day. Note: The faster you do crunches, the less you feel them, but they re still effective!
