How do you lose weight and drink alcohol? -

I have 20 pounds to lose and do not wish to stop drinking to do it. I usually have 1 or 2 drinks most days of the week. Occasionally, I ll drink up to 5 drinks if I go out. Sometimes I may not drink at all, but I do on most days. Does anyone have weight loss tips to help me lose while still enjoying my beverage. When I ask for tips, I mean besides eating healthier and exercising, because those are things I ve already began doing. Thanks...

I was worried about the same thing. The best I can offer is try to drink light beer if you drink beer and stick with your current plan. I still have a couple beers (regular though, not light) a few days out of the week but as long as I stood with my eating/exercising I still lost weight.

well ur not going to while ur drinking that much if u ave to drink, drink something light and low in fat

stop drinking, it s bad for you, you dumbass

Drink lite beer or other low cal drinks. Avoid alchopops and other drinks with loads of sugar.

BEST TIP:1. Try mixing your favorite liquor with Crystal Lite drink mixes. They only have 5 calories each with NO SUGAR, so they won t fill you up, they won t make you puke from suar overload, and they won t make your belly pooch! My favorite combo: Captain Morgan s Malibu Passion Fruit Rum mixed with Strawberry-Orange Crystal Lite. Yum2. Try making jello shots with sugar-free jello.Have fun!Drink responsibly!

Depends, what do you drink? If your happy to swap your usual high-carb drink for a low-carb then you could make a big difference. For instance, dont drink sugary fizzy drinks like jack daniels and coke. Try jack daniels and water. Top shelf has no carbs, until you add the fizzy to it. Or try light beer maybe. Good luck :)

Stop eating in the evenings. I did this last May - ate a normal breakfast and lunch and then had some drinks and one snack (popcorn, pretzels, etc.) for the night. When school ended in June, I was a size 4. (I am usually a 6/8). It is hard to keep up once you are around others. Dinner is more than food; it is a social activity.

...alcohol is full of empty calories so you ve got a problem.

just dont drink its bad for you it have got much calories

Good Luck and when you figure out how to write a book you will make millions!

Any tips on losing weight? -

I lost 10 pounds a year ago after switching from whole milk to 1%... please read...? -

since then I ve gained almost all of it back when my mom stopped buying me whole milk and I started eating unlhealthily again, do you think I could do it again if I switched back?Whatever weight loss tips do you have?I excercise ALMOST every day (when I don t have homework) because I need to look good for Hawaii this summer (oh yeah!)But I usually just dance, run or walk. It s starting to get boring...

Just the milk isn t going to do it. You need to eat healthy. Lots of fruit veggies, whold grains, lean protein, low fat dairy, lots of water exercise. Watch your portion sizes.Turbo Jam Hip Hop Abs dvd s are a lot of fun and they work.

Could you please give me some weight loss tips? -

Actually, what two people said is not right. Eat less ????? Then go and exercise more?? Thats not correct. Eat better and more often. Just watch the calories and the grams of fat as well carbs. Exercise is key. You re looking to just lose weight. Go cardiovascular. Running, biking, walking, anything where you are moving. I am not a nutritionist, however, my own personal experience has given me some insight. Maybe look into women s health magazine. They always have good recipes for tasty healthy food and awesome workouts. No, I do not read it. I read men s health. Same company. Good luck!

Like others have said, it s not necessarily what you eat, but how much of what you eat.In the end, Calories you use up must be greater than Calories you eat in order to lose weight. It s always better to exercise - adding muscle and toning muscle not only makes you feel better, but passively burn more energy than fat. Don t cut out food entirely that you think is unhealthy - just moderate it into much smaller portions. Remember that your taste satisfaction is 99% after only 2-3 bites. After that, the level of satisfaction reported significantly decreases. (why the first cookie is always soooo good).

Here are 2 articles which would help you:6 dieting tips to lose weighthttp://www.askaquery.com/Answers/qn1573.Weight Loss Diet C Choose The Best And Perseverehttp://www.askaquery.com/Answers/qn1637.

Eat the same things that you are eating now, just eat less of them. For instance, do not deny yourself your favorite foods, that leads directly to failure. Instead of two helpings, have one. Instead of the whole candy bar, eat half and save the other half for the next time you crave that candy bar.I have never dieted, only followed this basic rule of thumb. I am sorry about the workout stuff, I only run if chased.

I am not a dietitian nor a physician; I can not recommend how you should lose weight. After leaving the military I went to school overseas for 3 1/2 years where I kept easily kept my physique. Upon returning to the states and getting re-acquainted with our portions and the additives in our food, I gained 45 pounds in less than 6 months!4 years after my return, I lost a total of 40 pounds in 5 months which I understand is too much too fast. I did so by only allowing myself to eat as much as I could fit in my cupped palm at one time. I would then not allow myself to eat again for 30 minutes. If after 30 minutes I wanted more, I d do it again. I soon found myself involuntarily extending the time needed between feedings. The catch - I was eating much less in quantity. I made it count by learning about the glycemic index of foods, by staying as much away from chemicals and additives as I could and by making sure I ate enough every day.I must report that in the last two years since losing the weight I have regained 18 pounds. The reason is multifold: a job change with extended hours behind a computer, lack of portion control and lack of exercise.Time to get serious and keep my weight steady!

Walking and trying to stay away from fatty foods, rice, white bread, and drinking lots of water cuz it helps clean out your system. Good luck cuz it works for me.

I am trying Calotren. I heard about it on a local radio station. I lost 8 lbs. in the first month. It seems to rid your body of it s waste, it s all natural with no ephedra or caffine, and it has given me tons of energy!!! I LOVE IT!!! Go to hateyourweight.com. GOOD LUCK !! And remember to drink as much water as you can every day.

a few keys things to start with are little things such as drinking more water throughout the day, park a little farther from the store so you have to walk more to go inside...but here is a great website that will count calories, give suggestions for eating and even exercises that you can do at your house without any equipment but maybe a chair....www.sparkpeople.com good luck!!!

Eat less.Exercise more.Drink 8 (8 oz) glasses of water daily.Take a multivitamin/mineral supplement daily.

WOOOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!! lol...Black Diamond and Sugar Pie said just what I was going to say!!!!! That way, you have fun, too!!!!Good Luck!!!! From my heart to yours!!!! : )

take 2g omega-3 and turn on ur favorite dance music and get down for about 7-8 songs and work out every part of the body.

I want to know the best ways to lose weight quickly and effectively.? -

I need weight loss tips to help me lose those extra pounds on my body. I really hate my flabby arms, thighs and big belly. I have been fat all my life and really desire to achieve my dream body like those beautiful models in magazines. What is the best methods to slim down with diets and nutrition?

I lost 105 pounds in 6 months. Here is how I did it.1. Every morning get up and walk for 45 minutes. You can start with less time, but you want to get up to 45 minutes, and it must be fast walk. You want your heart rate to go up. It must be in the morning, it kick starts your metabolism.2. I cut out Red Meat, and fatty foods. Boneless skinnless chicken breast, baked, or grilled, rice and vegetables (steamed).3. Eat half. Just eat half of what you normally eat. Put 1/2 on your plate, and put the rest away. Cook less. When you go to fast food, get salads only. Or grilled chicken. No fries, only diet soda. Or water. It will work, once you get into a routine, you will get hooked on the results, and you will keep the routine. It has been over a year for me. Also start counting your calories. Write them down. You would be amazed as to how much more aware you are of your caloric intake, if you actually write it down. We recently discovered a site that offers a great program that counts calories, as well as keeps track of everything. It allows multiple users, so everyone in the family can keep track. They offer a free 7 day trial, and so far I am very impressed with the product. Try the 7 days and see. It allows you to add the exercise that you do during the day, which increases the amount of calories you can take in. Very Cool!!http://www.calorieking.comA sight with some really cool diet calculators and interesting calorie counting calculators is here. Check it out.http://www.caloriesperhour.com/Check out my before and after pic at my yahoo 360 pagehttp://profiles.yahoo.com/gorillamykeStay motivated, and get up and walk every day. I seriously lost all my weight starting off my day on my walk. Good LUCK!

m..v should love the way v r..if u stil not satisfied then u can get the all the info u need in the internet.but don trust them all.good luck!

You forgot to mention exercise. That works best. Burn your fat with a good cardio.

, if losing some pounds of any description and inches is what you want then I would suggest you use a diet that is all natural and is rich in protein and vitamins, which is what the FDA recommends. I used a protein based diet after a friend who had lost a lot of weight with this recommended it to me. All the way through you feel great and energized, you also get great coaching and support along the way. The people are very friendly and gave me lots of great advice. I needed to lose 40 pounds and I did so with no problems. The products really work and you feel great whilst losing weight. I lost all my weight in less than four months and they have helped me to keep it off. I would definitely recommend using them. My sister did this also and lost 76 pounds in five months (She works out, I dont). There is no pressure and they will even send you a load of free samples so you can try before you buy. The samples were the thing that initially convinced me that this was the right diet for me. You also a get a free complete health consultation with the samples, I think I just paid the postage, but for what I got it was well worth it. You have to go to www.myhealthabc.com to register your details to get the free samples and the free advice etc and then they just call you up and ask you a few questions. It was so easy. Their main site is www.myhealthabcmall.com and you can see all the products and packages and order from their. Its nice to have contact with real people who care about you losing weight and improving your health. I am in better health now than I have ever been thanks to these products and I know that I will continue to keep the weight off with the help I have received. I hope this helps.

Healthy weight loss tips? -

In other words, I need help but nothing extreme. Here s my situation: I started to keep a food journal a few months and realized I was eating over 3000 calories a day. I have since cut that down to 1800-2000 a day. I have lost about 10 pounds in 3 months, but I feel like there s more I can do.I work full time and am a full time mom, and it s hard to get to the gym when there s too much to do around the house. I ve been trying to get out and start jogging, but I ve been hit with a bout of a cold and couldn t make it out there.ANY helpful tips, especially things I can do at home, are greatly appreciated.Food-wise I m not bad. I just have a hard time with fruit, no matter how hard I try. I ve been drinking V8 Fusion juice, which is better than nothing, but it s no substitute for REAL fruit. When I was 17, I lost 52 inches by running 12 minutes each night in my basement. That was now nearly a decade ago and now I have trouble having energy after I put my kids to bed to do anything other than do dishes. I know I can do it, and I have motivation - my sister is getting married and has aked me to be the matron of honor. I want to drop 2-3 dress sizes in a year, and I know it s possible, but I just don t know what to do to help stay on track.

Can anyone give me weight loss tips.? -

I need tips for weight loss, some fast ones......ughhhhhhhhhh..Please help!

if you lose fast it means all you lost was water weight and muscle and slowed down metabolism and will gain it all back making contribution to yo-yo cycle and having higher body fat percentage.find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 400-600cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day (have lots of veggies to eat in between meals if you are still hungry)8 glasses of water -carry bottle of water with you and when you feel hungry drink it - we often confuse hunger with thirst (our bodies confuse it)have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energyhave protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs musclecardio is the only fat burning exercise and burns fat all over your body (running, jogging, swimming, spinning, elliptical etc) 4-6 times a week for average of 45min, light weight training a few times a week (more muscle=faster metabolism)dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, ice cream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.of course you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Well you should maybe try excersizing as in running/jogging/biking. Slim fast. Join a gym. Eat foods with less fattening stuff in it like junk food and switch to healthy stuff

Large meals are actually quite hard on the system and cause later complications you really don t want to contend with later in life. It is an over expenditure of useful energies and does not allow for proper digestion or proper consumption of key nutrients to replenish energies used. Though results might be seen fairly fast as suggested, they are due to do more harm than good. That being said may I suggest, balanced, small portion meals, around 5 or 6 times a day along with exercise and try not to eat after 6pm until you have conditioned your body to this diet and exercise. Stay positive and stay focused and you should see great things start to happen. Please keep in mind that a safe measure of weight loss is only 2 and a half pounds a week so there is no real safe way to drop it too fast so always consider your health. Tomorrow could very well be the reminder of what we did today, so once again always consider your health. Best of luck and I hope I have helped in some way.

have your big meals in this order:1 Big Breakfast1 Big Late LunchNo dinnerMix it up with exercise and youll see results instantly. When you eat late you dont give your organism time to burn the calories off.Good Luck

three meals a day add veggies, fruit do yoga slowly and concentrating for an hour constantly everyday gl

dont skip any meals!! Eat healthy good sized meals with no snacks except fruit. eat organic. To see results you dont need to excercise like a maniac but enough to sweat, you re going to want to check with your doctor first becaause these are things that worked for me but its a good thing i checked with my doc about excercise! I had to start out slow so i could strenghten my heart. Good Luck!

You should cut back on caffiene and drink water ann juices that dont have corn syrup in them.

I tried Proactol and lost 11 pounds in a month. Some people experience side effects but I didn t.I still recommend excercise 3-4 times a week for 30-40 minutes of light jogging or walking.Good Luck!!

1000 calorie-a-day diet? -

Right can anybody tell me roughly what weight I d be at around December time this year if...*I eat 1000 calories a day*Walk for half an hour each day*Do 100 sit ups every other dayAt the moment I am 5 8, 156lbs and 15 years oldThanks xP.S - Any other weight loss tips are very welcome

by the beginning of Dec. probably about 140lbs. or less.also. it is okay to eat 1000cals a day as long as most of the cals. come from healthy foods but also okay to have a small portion of junk food too.can you order any books from amazon? there is a book published in the 90s(i think) called Hot Hips and Fabulous Thighs that has excellent diet info including recipes and menus and has an exercise program that requires no equipment and takes less than 30mins. probably get a used copy for a few dollars. i have a giant collection of exercise and nutrition books and i think this is one of the best books available for women. nothing too hard and the food preparation is easy too. plus it has holiday eating tips so you won t gain (much or any) weight during the holidays.sip at least a gallon of water a day if you can. it curbs hunger and also keeps the mouth clean of tastes. only down side is you have to pee alot.you don t have to do 100 sit ups every other day. 100situps don t burn many calories and situps don t burn fat off the stomach. do slow situps without momentum until you can t do any more. probably less than 20 and it will be a better workout for your abs than 100.

First of all why are you trying to lose weight? Secondly, 1000 calories for anyone is too low. You should be eating at least 1500 a day and closer to 2000.

I want REAL weight loss tips? -

Ok none of that exercise 3 times a weeks and eat healthy stuff, ok maybe it works for most people. My coworker told me she stopped eating fried food and in a month she lost alot of weight. Anyone got any weight loss tips?

No soda, No processed sugars (twinkies, candy, donuts), Hey I just got Wii Fit, and played for 15 minutes.. WOW its so fun and a work out. That is great to use. Also I got Tony Hortons 10 Minute Trainer. And I am woking on using that every day, as well as Wii Fit. I don t eat very healthy but its hard, when my dad won t buy healthy food... If we say we are on a diet, he does not buy ANY food... How is that a diet.. also, drink lots of water, and ice tea, or crystal light is better than soda. No calories practically and no suars. Good Luck!!

Exercise actively, you HAVE to!!and eat healthy, that is a must!!!but here are some tips:STOP eating: chips, chocolate, bread, fried food, fast foodand STOP drinking: soda, bear, and high sugar juices..not eating fried food helped your coworker, but it might not necessarily help you..or can always go to those pills and teas..

Three steps that have really helped me are dieting, exercising, and the correct weight loss supplement for losing weight. Focus on those three things and you will lose weight considerably. I exercise 30 mins a day along with taking Proactol, a natural weight loss supplement that I saved money on at theweightlossplace.com Good luck and stay focused = )

Yes, it s good to let go of fried foods. Don t starve yourself - just eat slowly, chew your food properly and don t fill your stomach to the max...give it some space. It s best to take daily walks. 30+ minutes walk every morning will have you going into shape slowly. You ll feel your fat burning on your chest/abs, back, legs and arms after every walk [unless your bones n skin]. Go swimming, bike riding, play sports and if you have a dog, take it for a walk and play around with a Frizby for a while. Burn those calories. Goodluck fatty

Cut the fried foods, soda, fast food. Drink tons of water. Exercise more than you did the last time (you gota push youself, you body gets used to something and you haveta give it more for it to work) When you have a craving, dont deny your self of it, just do it in moderation. Now for the clincher, DOnt strive so much for the weighloss, strive more for being healthy and happy with you you are...truely happy with that, Once i hit that point! Pounds started falling off! Its crazy and stuff, but it really workds and just makes u feel better!!!Good luck!

haha..there is no easy way! its a simple numbers game! you take in less calories than you burn each day and you ll lose weight! and if you dont want to change your diet by eating healthier or your lifestyle by exercising then the only way you ll lose weight is to starve yourself.

yes, honestly work out. i mean if your not sweating like a pig your not loosing, and eating healthy works. no cheating like i had a salad today i think it will be ok to eat these fries. no. just eat healthy 5 times a day in small portions to raise your metabolism and remember cheating on food or excersise only hurts you, your doing it for you, don t waste your time making excuses for yourself like this question

I had a friend that is losing weight just because she is no longer drinking soda or going out to eat at all. She dropped 4 sizes in 2 months.

You really do contradict yourself in this question. You emphasis you want REAL weight loss tips but then say you don t want to hear about healthy eating and exercise. Ummmmm, what? The only way to lose weight safely and permanently is through a healthy eating plan and exercising. It works for most people for a reason, it is the most effective way of losing weight. If you burn more calories than you take in (achieved through a healthy eating plan), build up muscle through strength training and complete 30 minutes of solid cardio a day then weight loss is a certainty. There are many weight loss methods out there but most are either unhealthy weight loss, temporary weight loss or both. This following website gives you the tools you need to develop a healthy lifestyle and maintain it for a lifetime.Good luck and all the best with your weight loss goals

try a personal trainer a healthy diet and oolong tea-its amazing! email me if you have questioons!

Well, you re going to lose weight by not eating bad food. To keep it long term, you should eat healthy and regular exercise. It s a lifestyle change.

Well it worked for me but dunno if it will work for others but i ate TOGO s everyday for two weeks and lost 2 pounds without ne working out...just bought a regular salomy and cheese sandwitch w/ a bag of chips

If you don t want to do it the healthy way the least you can do is stop eating the crap food like fast food and soda. I guess you could smoke, pop pills, and/or vomit if you like but it s not usually recommended by Dr.s What do they know though huh, the bunch of quacks.

There are a billion and one tips we can give you for REAL weight loss. But i m only going to give you one.Get your diet right. This is the only thing you need. Weight loss is a lifestyle. No magic secret.
