I need insperation? -

I have been on a weight loss program and have loss about 54 lbs in th last 3 months, but now i am cheating. I need new insperation. Any ideas on how revamp the weight loss?

Congrats on your loss! You must find the source of your urges and cut it off. Try new things in your diets or exercise programs. And finally get your best friend to help you, he/she is gonna be there for you and think of him/her when you are about to cheat

First thing, congratulations on losing 54 lbs. For inspiration, you should start training for a marathon or something of that matter. Try a triatholon.

buy a piece of clothing that is two sizes smaller, and set a gaol to fit into those close!\Its simple, just watch what you eat, and workout! there you go!

look at some before/after shots, clothing that no longer fits?

Awesome loss!!!!!! When I lost weight, I used planned cheating to get me through. I would allow myself SMALL indulgences every few days or so, so that I wouldn t constantly crave cheat foods. When I wanted to cheat, then I could tell myself, well, I just have to wait for tomorrow , and that would usually hold me over.

Congratulations on losing so much weight! Be careful losing at that kind of a pace...make sure you re doing it in a healthy way.Motivation? I m not sure...have you tried looking at old pictures of yourself, 54 lbs. heavier? That always motivated me.

I think buying an oufit you LOVE in a size that you want to be...then hang it on the front of the fridge. It ll make you stop and think b4 u binge

Figure out what triggers you to cheat! Or, maybe buy an outfit that you would love to wear, but still can t fit into, and hang it up where you can easily see it every day!!

First, congrats on your weight loss! I too am fighting the battle. Your loss so far is awesome!!I would suggest joining a weight loss group, either online or something like Weight Watchers. They have made a huge difference in my life. And remember: Take each day at a time, if you mess up, don t beat yourself up, just let it go and move on. You ve done amazing so far and you will continue to do so. Everyone has their bad days.

if i eat 2000 calories a day, how many calories a day do i need to burn to lose 5 lbs. a week?and yes i know 2- 3 lbs. are healthier weight loss goals for a weeks time. i just want to know for an experiment i am doing.

there are 3500 calories in a pound. to lose 5 pounds you would need to reduce your weekly caloric intake by 3500x5=17500 calories (check my math there, i did it in my head.) so if you re eating 2000 calories a day, according to my math, you couldn t lose 5 pounds in a week because you re only eating 14000 calories a week anyway. you d have to not eat at all, and exercise.

About 2,700 a day! You should burn 300 more calories then you intake a day to lose 2 Ibs. a week, so you would have to do an extra 700. If you want to lose weight, the maximum calories you are eating a day should be 1,600! Preferably 1200-1500 or 1300-1600 if you are a guy. It would be really difficult to burn nearly 3,000 a day unless you are really active.

3500 calories = 1 pound.IF you were to burn 500 calories per day, every day for a week, then you would lose only one pound. So, to lose 5, you need to burn 2500 per day. That s a tremendous amount of energy you d have to exert in combination of cutting back on the diet.

well you can t eat 2000 calories a day AND burn 3000 calories a day. i would shoot for 500 calories a day, thats a good cardio workout.and if you start to get hungry, eat small snacks high in protein.

it would be very difficult to lose that much weight while eating 2000 calories a day. try 1400 instead.

Considering the recommended (healthy) weight loss is 1-2lbs per week, is it *healthy* to loose 7-8lbs in one week???

Seriously, if someone who never worked out in there life and weighs over 300 pounds started working out every day for a minimum of 6 hours, they re gonna lose major poundage. you noticed how they went back to the normal 2 pound a week weight loss soon after, and even now the numbers arent that high anymore. its a shock to the body which is why they lose that much, and they rae still very overweight, and still work out at least 6 hours every day while being monitered on everything they eat. so for them yes it is safe. for us no, it is harmfulEdit -I wish it worked for me too! lol. ive tried doing it like them, but man after an hour of exercise im ready to die lol. you should try this stuff called Herbalife Healthy Meal Nutritional Shake Mix. Its a meal replacement drink, only 1 gram fat and 180 calories, and im usually skeptical but it actually depleted my hunger! for me thats amazing cuz im always hungry with my medications i take lol.but deffinatly try it out if you get a chance. im not sure where to buy it cuz it was my mums, but google it and im sure u can find out :)
