How can my 16 year old 180 lbs 5ft 2in son lose weight fast ? -

PLEASE stop feeding him so much! This is directly your fault. If you don t control what he eats as a child......then of course he ll get fat. Jeez......stop buying him crap--no sodas, no fast/junk food and smaller portions. Don t give him money to buy food out or school lunches. Those school lunches are HORRIBLE. Pack him a lunch and get him away from the video games.

fast isnt the answer, remember it obviously took some 16 years for your son to get to his size, so its not going to come off fast. Get him the proper help he needs.. weight watchers, etc.... be there with him to support him

Don t feed him diet pills. It teaches him that there is an easy way out of things. Plus, they don t work. If they did, there wouldn t be a million out there. How much time does he spend outside doing physical activity? Get out and play some soccer or go sledding as a family! It s much easier to get your gets to play if you make it a family affair. Put away the video games and take karate lessons at the local rec center.You can t expect to put crummy food in front of him and then tell him not to eat it. You have to lead by example. He will follow what you do. Make the whole family wholesome, healthy meals. The whole family can stand to be a little healthier. Let him go shopping with you to pick out the healthy food he likes. Let him pick out the fruit and veggie you pack for him in his lunch. Find low-calorie treats he can have occasionally like fat-free jello pudding or low-calorie Popsicles. I can t stress this enough, if you exercise, he will exercise. If you eat right, he will eat right. Think of this as a family lifestyle change, not just, My son is fat and needs to loose weight. That humiliation will follow him the rest of his life. There is nothing like having the entire family eat pizza and giving him boiled chicken and a salad. It s a family project that needs to taken on as a family. Do it for all your health benefits.

To begin with, let me tell you that there exist many ways by which this can be done.But first, what your son needs to do is to change his eating habits. He should be eating balanced diets with the right dose of vitamin, minerals, carbohydrates, protein,... And, on top of that, he should avoid eating too many sweets/cakes - chocolates, snacks and should cut consumption of fast foods.However, eating well will NOT help reduce weight. Along with a healthy diet, he should exercise well on a regular basis and avoid being too passive - What i mean by that is not being in front of the TV or computer all the time. Sports such as cycling, football, tennis, badminton are greatly recommended.Hope my pieces of advice will be of some help to you!

You don t want someone to lose weight really fast that can be to much of a strain of the body! He can probably start eating healthy, start exercising everyday, and try to get him to drink eight glasses of water a day! That is the healthy way for him to lose weight!

Sprinting is the best (though not good for your knees) exercise when it comes to burning fat and increasing your metabolism.You can do it a few days per week and eat like a hog.I m not even faithful to my schedule and it seems like the more I eat the more weight I lose ever since I ve started sprinting.Because I was nearly 200 pounds (I m down to 165 after 6 months) and a smoker, I checked with a doctor before I started. besides all the regular advice that everyone gives, I will tell you about a report I recently read. It stated that the SMELL of bananas and apples help with weight loss. Its not the eating of them, its the smell. I read about it on a science site. Don t know if it works, but probably worth a shot.

There are many things that can help you lose weight, but I think the biggest difference starts from within. Instead of thinking of going on a diet, make a lifestyle change - permanantly! I m not saying cut all the great guilty pleasures from life, but more of less control them and have self dicipline. No matter how you look at it, you are not going to lose weight unless you excersice. The crazy thing about it is, all you have to do is 30 minutes a day of cardio along with eating right and you can lose 5-8 lbs. a month!!! Remember, losing weight is not a sprint, it s a marathon that takes time and dedication. Surround yourself with people with the same goals and I KNOW you will be succesful. Good luck and god bless.

Eat what you want, but eat less of it. Walk more. Do not try quick fix diets, will only make you gain more weight later. In other words you cannot lose weight faster.

Cut back on eating, only eat when you re hungry, and eat lots of dairy and veggies. Also, exercise a lot! But don t exercise too much, and eat too little. Swimming is the best exercise there is, no debate!
