How to lose weight on a short time limit? -

Its only a matter of weeks before Summer s over, and I just need some quick exercises to lose weight anywhere, legs, arms, belly, etc. If anyone could help, it would be appreciated. Thankyou ;)

How to lose weight at the gym? -

I m 17 yrs old, 5 5 and 136lbs.I m not obese or anything but I am chubby and want to get rid of my thunder thighs and belly.I just joined the gym but I don t know how long I should go there for and how hard I should work out? What equipment should I use? Should I do weights?Any diet tips would be helpful too.Thanksxx

At the gym I recommend doing cardio for at least 30-60 minutes. You can split it up between different machines like the treadmill, bike, eliptical, etc. Then spend at least 30 minutes going through the weight machines. If you don t know how to use them or which ones to use you should talk to someone at the gym to give you a walkthrough, they are glad to do it and it should be at no additional charge. Just make sure when you are working with weights you use weights that are a challenge but don t cause you pain, rest briefly between sets (3-5 sets of 8-12 reps) and don t work the same muscle groups every day, let them have off days. Except abs, you can work those every day.Just make sure you try to find equipment and machines that you enjoy doing, don t force yourself to run on the treadmill if you hate it, choose the bike instead if that is more fun for you.Eat lean protein and veggies with smaller portion of carbs.

You should take it moderately easy since you re quite new and get used to the equipment there. Walking on the treadmill or going easily on an elliptical trainer is good. Take about an hour or so to do cardio every other day.Just make sure you get into a routine so you ll be going regularly every other day. Once you feel comfortable and set in your routine, up the ante. Increase speed on the treadmill or on the elliptical trainer.The key is to go moderately to the gym. Trying to go to the gym initially like Rocky training for boxing will burn you out and you won t feel like going to the gym. Don t go every day or you ll burn yourself out. Every other day is best.

Do at least 45-60 minutes of cardio 5 days a week. You need to focus on getting your heart rate up so if you opt to use the treadmill either speedwalk or jog. At some point you should also work in weight training. So many women overlook this part. The more muscle you have the more calories your body will burn while at rest. If you are worried about bulking up just use lower weights and do more reps.Good luck!!! At your age you should see results fast.Oh one more thing.....you need to try and cut sugar out of your diet as much as possible. If you need energy go for complex carbohydrates like oatmeal or whole wheat. I could go on for days but I am running out of room.

Strength training....stay busy, don t take long breaks between sets....try to keep heart rate between 120-130 for 45 minutes or so. I am sure the gym s employees would be happy to help you design a work out routine and show you how to use all the machines. Might want to start eating six small meals per day too.

do cardio. run, bike. and it is important to weight train also, u don t have to use heavy weights u should do something to stay toned

HELP ME MARINES OR SOLDIERS! need good advise!? -

so here it goes need to loose 20lbs asap THEN i can enlist with the MARINES 35lbs and i can go ARMY DONT! need advise on what branch just weight loss tips ive lost 30lbs so far and ive just blown myself out on running and dieting i need a new healthy and actualy FUN approach while shaping up for the Military at the same time thanks alot guys and gals

your first sentence confused the hell out of me. are you saying you dont need advice on what branch to join just weight loss tips? Are you going marines or army? Army is definatly more leniant as far as weight goes, especially if you are reserve or national guard, but that is only after you are already in. Just keep running and running. Dont depend on dieting, it can only do so much. Dont starve yourself, just dont eat any fast food or stuff like that. Just the basics dude, vegatables and excersise.

Hiit is your friend. I went from 155 to 129 in 2-3 months. I also was pretty much only eating baked or grilled stuff and cottage cheese with pineapples.

You don t need advise. You need advice. And my advice is to study English before you join either one.

if you really want to lose weight quickly you should add more exercise to your day. While it is good to run 10 minutes a day, it isn t going to make a dramatic change in your weight. The best thing you could do is to keep eating healthy and to try to get involved in some sports: such as basketball, soccer, or football.

As someone who was overweight at your age, I understand the frustration you feel. However, with the right attitude and some determination, you can overcome this. Keep in mind, adolescence is not far away and you will go through a rapid growth spurt which will help balance you out. 100 pounds is light! What are you talking about?I live in Australia, so I always have to convert pounds into Kilograms. Wanna know how many Kilograms it is?.. 50... 50Kgs! Now how light does that sound?!You don t need to lose weight. If you jog and you eat healthy, there s nothing wrong. Just make sure you continue to do it. Your metabolism is really fast at the age of 10, but as you get older it ll slow down. If you don t keep exercising, your weight will just go up.

unfortunately the body won t begin to burn fat reserves until you have excercised past the 20 minute mark. I would recommend walking briskly for 10 minutes then jog for another 10 followed by slow walking until your heart rate normalizes.

uhm.. hun 100 pounds is totally fine. keep doing that. and thats all you have to do and youll be in great shape when your a teenager

Hey i m wondering how i could go about losing weight, my dad is a big guy and is built like Kane the wresler but not as tall and im starting to fill out like that also.I walk for 4 hours a day at a fast pace being a postman, but i also have a big appetite after it and i seem to be never full.What can i eat that will fill me up but wont on to much weight ?thanks
