I really want to lose weight but...? -

I m a big sweet eater. I lost ten pounds at the end of summer. But in the past two weeks i gained 15 pounds! I really don t want to weigh so much at my age.Or this fat!! So anyone that has suggestions on how to lose weight. Includes certain excercise, eating habits. I became vegetarian late July of 2007. But everything we eat is REALLY bad for you and makes you gain a lot! Any help here??

Go to the GYM or buy a Home GYM.

My best advice is to eat what you want, just in small portions. Limit the sweets to once a week, and if you don t, drink lots and lots of water.Exercise, even though I don t like to admit it, is a big essential in losing weight. You don t have to work yourself sick, just for 30 minutes 3 times a week or so at first.I ve been walking alot lately, and eating a small breakfast and lunch, and I ve successfully lost 5 pounds in 3 weeks. Good luck! I hope you make it to your desired weight.

Protein, fruits, vegetables. Less carbs and try to stick to whole grains. Don`t eat at restaurants. Cake, etc. only at parties and in small quantities. Don`t buy sweets when you`re at the store and you`ll be less likely to eat them. If you really crave something sweet and a piece of fruit just won`t do it, try getting small, individually wrapped things like caramels and eating only one to satisfy the craving. Go for walks. Pilates for 20 minutes a day will do amazing things for your body and keep you motivated. Good luck.

wow.sound like me.well first of all.you have to exercise.atleast 30 mins a day.5 days out of the week.and your not suppose to drink cold beverageswith hot foods.that makes the fat solid that you just ate.for the past week ive been drinking tea with justabout every meal. thats probly bout twice a day.or sometimes just once a day iwill have tea. and ive alreadylost 6 lbs.i hope this helps.oh its green tea too.dontadd nothing to it.it actually helped me!good luck!

I wouldn t really recommend being vegetarian as meat can provide you with some very good nutrition. Also limit yourself to candy. Also there are lots of stuff out there for you to look at. Just know how to use google. This video can REALLY help http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8AMC2HssAnd also you need to burn AROUND 3500 calories to lose one pound if that helps.

Try the Atkins diet. I was on it for 3 months and lost 40 pounds. But i was runing about a mile and working out every day.http://books.google.com/books?hl=en id=93O3dm3iRl8C dq=Atkins+diet printsec=frontcover source=web ots=DeR2N9eZm7 sig=6db6vXr98GTmjmYDcQ8pBCxmIy4 sa=X oi=book_result resnum=4 ct=result

See a dietician. No one can really give you the perfect plan from the internet. What you need is a doctor and a dietician to help you plan out your weightloss plan and a way to keep the weight off.Good luck!

you should really talk to your doctor about it becasue i am not a vegetarian and therefore do not know how to accomadate an appetite for one

Hey i m a vegetarian too (8 years baby!!!!!!Well I ve also lost 20 pounds this year. So maybe I can help. First of all, read all that diet stuff about exercize, energy balance, fiber, drinking water, you know, the stuff you already know. But then, use a few a little more unconventional methods, which helped me more than any of those did.1. Realize that sugar is an addiction. I realized this early on in life. The more you eat, the more you crave. I used to give it up for Lent (a Catholic/Christian holiday), 40 days without sugar. If I ate it on Easter, I d throw up. After Easter, I didn t want sugar at all. It took me a few weeks of being given it by other people (birthday parties, etc) for me to get back into the habit of eating it. If you can give it up for 4 days (COMPLETELY) then you can do it for 40. Try the four and see how it goes. Always works for me.2. Peanuts, Grapefruit, Pickles. (And they re all yummy!) All three of these have been shown to help with weight loss. The reasons are unexplained, but probably have to do with (a) the satisfaction one gets from peanuts and the fact that peanuts, as chewed by humans, are not entirely digested, (b) the fiber and water content of grapefruit really REALLY fills you up, (c) pickles have a very strong flavor. Anything with a strong flavor will make you want to eat less. You could eat olives instead. Or Kimchi.3. Tea. Everyone says it s hype, but I drink 7 cups of Green Tea a day, just because I love it. All the asians I know agree.4. Make sure you re not hungry. If you are, you could get a headache. Don t diet to the point where you are hungry. I like to take it slow.5. Sleep. Helps me loads. If you re tired, you have less inhibition. That s why people tend to binge at night. If you re tired, just go to sleep.

How to lose weight fast no need to drink any chemicals or medicines.? -

like exercise playing basketball.

Fastest is not best. Slow and steady wins the race.A lot of the answers you will see here will tell you to buy some sort of supplement. Don t take diet pills. They are unnatural and dangerous. It is not the lack of pills that got you heavy; that is not the fix you need. It was (most likely) improper diet and lifestyle that got you the extra weight. That is the fix you need. The best way to lose weight is through the principles of balance and moderation. You need to eat good food and eat enough of it.Shoot to lose 1-3 pounds per week. No more. Don t go hungry, just keep yourself filled with good, natural foods.Don t worry about calories. Caloric science is flawed for several reasons. 1) it assumes 100% absorption, but we all absorb and excrete different amounts; 2) It assumes all calories are processed the same, but calories from natural sources are burned more slowly and evenly than from refined sources; 3) It assumes that the amount of energy released by combustion (burning) in a lab is the same amount of energy released when the food is broken down enzymatically in the gut; 4) It assumes that the same exercise done by different people will burn the same amount of exercise, but different exercises will be harder or easier for different people; 5) Correlation does not prove causation. People who are heavier eat more calories: did the calories make them heavy, or did being heavy make them need more calories? Maybe they are both symptoms of a deeper problem. 6) people in China consume 25-40% more calories; even the sedentary office workers have more calories and less obesity than we.Asian cultures have long ago figured out how we should be eating, Ever since we have looked to science to tell us how to eat we have seen more obesity and diet-related disease. If we eat like the Asians, we will look like the Asians. This doesn t mean you have to eat Asian food, just adhere to the principles that are common to the different cultures and cuisines. You should eat mostly vegetables, mostly cooked (cold and raw foods slow your metabolism because they need to be cooked in your stomach) and a wide variety, mostly fresh and in-season and local, simple grains (more rice, less bread), some fruit, a little meat, no dairy (it s for infants and grows tissue), and no artificial foods.Avoid artificial foods, including sugar substitutes. Don t worry about calories, fat, protein, carbs, nor any one component of food. There are several books that explain this strategy of eating. The Asian Diet: simple secrets for eating right, losing weight, and being well by Bussell explains the diet and its rationale. The Asian Diet: get slim and stay slim the Asian way by Tran has recipes that adhere to the principles. The China Study by Campbell has the science behind the recommendation.Get some exercise every day, but not too much and not always the same exercise. Start slow and work your way up. Calisthenics are great, as is Tai Chi. Walking and swimming are also great. All other exercises should be in a wide rotation.Follow the principles of balance and moderation and you ll be fine. Most diets in America are not balanced nor moderate.Source(s):http://www.theasiandiet.comhttp://www.thechinastudy.com

you should eat at least 4-5 meals a day.drink lots of water, and eat regularly. don t starve yourself, because once you start eating again, you ll gain everything back, trust me.eat lots of fruits and veggies, and if you eat bread, make sure it s whole grain. white bread is pretty fattening. you can also eat lean meats, like fish, turkey and chicken breast. eggs also help when trying to lose weight.skip out on sweets, candy, sugary foods, chips, ice cream, cake, and cookies.if you feel hungry, but don t want to over eat, chew gum. it ll keep your mouth busy and it tricks yourself into thinking your eating.cut out ALL soda! if you stop drinking soda, it helps you out a lot!and don t forget to exercise!try walking, jogging, jump rope, dancing, crunches, bike riding and swimming. try exercising for 45-80 minutes a day.good luck!

Drink two tumblers of water on rising from the bed, and in a day drink at least three litres of it. One third of your food should be low calorie salad. It fills the stomach and gives less calories of energy. Avoid cream, ghee, sweets and fried food. Take regular exercise sufficiently, so as to burn more calories of energy, than its intake. The order of preference of food is (1) steamed, (2) boiled, (3) baked, (4) roasted, (5) grilled, and (6) fried.

It is simple, but many people don t have the will power to stick with it enough to see results. Eat 5-6 small meals a day every 2-3 hours. Cut out all junk and fried foods as they are loaded with calories. Drink water as it will help curb your appetite and reduce your cravings for sweets. Cardio for at least 25-30 minutes a day. Pushups, pullups, squats, dips, all aid in reduction of weight as long as ur what you eat and cardio are in check. Be patient many people think there is something out there that will make them lose weight quickly just stick with these guidelines and you will see results every week it is just that simple cardio, strength training and diet.

If I go on a very fast diet and lose weight quickly, if after I have lost the weight...? -

if i eat healthly, and exercise often will i keep the weight off? I dont need people to tell me its dangerous to lose weight fast, I already know that thanks.

Well it depends on what kind of diet you go on. I would say it s most likely you will gain some of that weight back but if you work out and exercise you will definiely keep some of it off. And then more will slowly come off! =) Have fun and good luck!

first youre going to lose a lot of muscle and then youll be skinny but with a body mass mostly constructed of fat only. if you then eat healthy you will gain your muscle mass back but your fat will start to shed. if anything youll only gain a little weight (scale-wise) but youll probably look the same. after eating healthy your body will look hard and tight :)

Yeah if u can take the weigh off and keep in mind the amt of cal intake - calories burned and keep that Equal to maintain the weight loss your in , I wish u luck it is not easy ((pops last piece of her pop tart in her mouth))

HAHAHAHAHA. Dream on, sweetheart. You have to first change your way of living. Trust me, don t rush in and then make a promise to yourself to do all that exercise stuff once your done starving yourself. It never works.

Yes if you continute to exercise the weight will stay off but it is easier to keep off if you lose the weight slower.

Depends how your metabolism reacts to it, everybody is different

first off you cant loose weight fast like that all you loose is water weight and it comes right back

yep. it doesn t take as much work to STAY in shape as it does to GET in shape

yea as long as you don t fall off track with it, you ll stay in good shape.
