Will this help me lose weight faster? -

ok well i exercise everyday . i either run, swim or play badminton. ok ummmmm im trying to eat less calories and already eat about 300-500 calories per day. i know this is not healthy i dnt care im over concious about my body to care. yea ummmmm im 5ft 10 14yr female and i weight 67kg!!! FATanyway umm please dont tell me im too young!!!thnx alot

Yeah that sounds good.I envy you : I can t seem to eat less than 1000 clories per day !!!Keep it up !

thats not even a question...thnx alot.

if you really wanna lose weight which i think i my opinion you are too young you need to be eating at least 12 to 1500 calories a day you need to eat more fresh vegetables and fruits and you need to eat small meals at least 5 times a day you need to watch your sugar intake drink more water and you need to stop obsessing i am not saying you are but a lot of girls your age do obsess about their weight you have your whole life ahead of you and right now what you need to be worried about more than losing weight is eating right and staying healthy

Your calorie intake is already so low that your basal metabolism is probably dropping and trying to prevent weight loss because it thinks there s a famine. This is really dangerous. You are not actually fat (I checked on a teen BMI calculator) even if you feel that way, and you sound like you are developing an eating disorder. You need to actually increase your calorie intake and eat more fruit and vegetables, cut back on greasy, fatty, or salty food, and drink water and milk instead of sugary drinks. It sounds weird, but your body can t lose weight normally unless you are taking in enough calories for it to function well, especially since you are so active. Please don t reduce calories--it s really dangerous and you can die of heart damage or other problems from malnutrition. This can happen even if you don t look anorexic. I don t know how to get it across how seriously you can damage yourself. I m sorry, I know you want to be thinner, but please don t do it that way.

One of the most successful diets I ve witnessed is a girl I know that stopped eating after 2:00pm daily. She would eat a healthy breakfast and a moderate lunch, then would not eat anything after two. The weight literally fell off of her. Just have to know when to stop, because it will keep falling off as long as you stay on this diet. Good Luck !!!

sorry

you are doing good girl keep up the good work

Are you bleeping nuts??? You have a eating disorder and unless you wanna die a slow horrible death I wouls seriously suggest talking to you parents ans seeing a professional about it. I mean did you read what your wrote??? Notice how it makes no sense. You say you barely eat, Right!! And you say how much you exercise, right??? But you are saying that you aren t losing anything, notice how that doesn t make sense??? You won t lose weight. Your body won t let you. See when you starve your self your body stops burning fat, even if you excerise. Your body is trying to conserve what little bit of fat it does have to keep surviving. How about flipping it. Instead of dying to thin (because you are going to DIE if you keep acting like an ***) try being healthy. Eat veggies and fish and chicken all day. Then go for your jog or whatever. I bet you will see a lot more results that way. And stop being concious about your body. i am 5 11 and weigh 260 lbs. I think I look good and so does my husband. Stop worrying about your body, because soon it will be 6 feet under if you don t cut your ****.And for you little girls rooting her on, your crazy too. Hey I would get thier name and number, you might be bed buddies in the hospital!!!!

Would I lose weight faster by running about a mile or two a day or playing 1.5 hours of hard basketball? -

I don t really know how to put this but I m trying to figure out if more calories are burned by running at a slow, but constant rate, or playing full-court basketball?

No.Eat right.

Basketball.Your working hard burning calories but your having fun.Its a win-win situation.

The basketball by far. Constant running up and down the court for that long will be one hell of a good fun work out.

How to lose weight fast but healthy? -

Im only 15 and im 5 3 and 115pds. I want to lose some weight to me fit. not to be skinny. I want to get in a good habit of eating heath. I do exersize too already. Im on the cheer team and wee practice 2 hrs a day for 2-3 days a week. please do nt tell me im fine the way i am i just want to be heathy not thin or perfect.

im 15, 5 3 too and used to be 122 lbs, and now im 110 and still losing. the way i lost it was by walking to and from school everyday (i stopped taking the bus), and i tried to avoid any junk or fast food. i havent ate mcdonalds since last summer, and i dont even crave that stuff. all i drink is water. i jog every other day now, and i play handball which really helps burn calories. try not to stay in watching tv or on the comp, call up friends and go to the park or something. also a month ago i was 113 and i went down to 108 in a week by staying on a diet that only consisted of water, fruit salads, and regular salads. it wasnt exactley healthy, but i lost it, didnt i? i gained a little weight back though because i pigged out on fast food for 3 days straight. for breakfast, i eat this cereal called fiber-one (honey clusters is a tasy one) or kashi go lean , and i have it with skim milk. their whole-grain cereals are full of fiber and protein and are good for weight loss. also avoid white breads, flour, sugar, stick to the healthy whole-grains. its good that your on the cheer team, its a good calorie burner, i will soon be on the volleyball team. well anyways, good luck on your weight loss and hope this helped somehow =)

As long you stay on a good diet and work out on a regular basis you shouldn t have any problems. But you should always make sure that you don t get to obsessed with dieting because you could become to thin.

My best adivce for you is to get the book called Body Clutter it is so wonderful I lost about 30lbs in a month after I read her book and realized what I was doing wrong-you can get it at walmart.com for about $9.00 this includes shipping. Trust me it is wonderful. And it helps you to understand what is heathy, and what is not. You could also try Saving Dinner book. It gives you tips on eating healthy. Then go out and get a Denise Austin DVD of your choice she has such wonderful encouraging DVD. By the time your twenty is up you will not believe that you had been working out for twenty!!I love her stuff!!!Also use your recourses-you live by a street right? Get a favorite CD and listen to it while you jog. Enjoy yourself-this is not a punishing time it is for a better you. Mix it up find unique ways to excersize, scrubb some floor by hand-that burns a lot of calories, park further away from the store and walk a little more to get to your store, walk around the store before you start shopping-all you need is fifteen min. every day to bless your heart and love your body. It works trust me-just spice it up a little bit.Try reading that book it helps a lot!!! It talks all about eating correctly also. Check it out-you will not regret it! Take it easy though with cheer practice you do not want to wear yourself thin-no pun intended.LOL

You have to be pretty healthy in the first place to be on the cheer team, OK. Now are you walking enough, try walking faster when in school and in the evening after dinner, take another walk. OK, Now Try some hand weight and sit ups, do a couple of arm weight exercises, to keep the upper body strong and Sit-upswill keep that stomache thin, and you wil be grining to the practices. eat more friuts and vegs. Cut back on snacks and POP is a definate No, No. No pop at all or candy. good you exercise at practice, just get more into a daily rutine at home.

i dont now how long you have been exersizing everyday but it took me a while to lose the unneeded body weight. Mabye the weight that you are at is the best weight for your height and bone structure, but if it isnt if you eat right and exersice for a while the weight will come off.

How can you lose weight FAST? -

Well?

try the lil Jack workout http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TKCGe2Ezrand it only takes a minute and half adn works great

Weight loss through eating less fat - but do it wiselyWe ve known for some time that limiting high fat foods in the diet can be helpful with weight loss. That s because fats pack in 9 calories per gram compared to only 4 calories per gram from proteins or carbohydrates. To many, the message to limit fats implied an endorsement to eat unlimited amounts of fat-free products. Just to clarify, fat-free foods have calories too. In some cases fat-free foods have as many calories as their fat laden counterparts. If you eat more calories than your body uses, you will gain weight. Eating less fat will help you to lose weight. Eating less fat and replacing it with excessive amounts of fat-free products will not.

Graze on healthy snacks. Just because you re getting healthy doesn t mean you can t snack. In fact, eating small meals and snacks throughout the day, or grazing, has been shown to aid weight loss, (compared to eating three large meals a day), by keeping metabolism steadier. Pick snacks that are low in calories and fat and high in fiber (dried apricots, nuts, rice cakes, fruits, baby carrots, cherry tomatoes, and so on). Vegetables are generally very low in calories, very high in fiber, and full of flavor and nutrition. Avoid starchy vegetables like potatoes, and try to eat vegetables plain, without fatty dressings or dips. Fruit also makes a good snack. Fruit contains more soluble fiber than vegetables, which slows your body s absorption of carbohydrates, thus releasing energy more slowly, (preventing sugar highs), and keeping you feeling full longer. Fruit juices are not a replacement for the real thing. You need that fiber, and juices often have more calories than the equivalent serving of fruit -- as many calories as soda! Be careful with dried fruits, because without the water, you tend to eat more, and fruits, when dried, are calorie-rich per ounce. With any dry or dried food, be sure to drink plenty of water.

Weight loss and weight trainingWe chose to list this separately from the exercise category because of the significant weight loss benefits attached to weight training in and of itself. The basic equation is this: the more muscle tissue you have, the more calories you will burn. This is why world class weight lifters must eat thousands of calories a day to maintain their weight. Muscle is active tissue, fat is not. Thus, muscle burns a significant number of calories each day for its own maintenance. In her book Strong Women Stay Slim, Miriam Nelson, a Tufts University researcher, showed that a group of women who followed a weight loss diet and did weight training exercises lost 44% more fat than those who only followed the diet. While aerobic activity can help burn calories, muscle s where it s at when it comes to giving your metabolism a significant daily boost even at rest.

Eat at least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables per day Fruits and vegetables are packed with beneficial fibers, vitamins and antioxidants. They fill up your stomach fast so you feel full earlier. They are also low in calories and helps to keep your calorie count low.

layoff the twinkies

How can i lose weight fast? -

i am 15 and i am way over weight. any suggestions on how to lose it?

When you are losing weight, you should exercise and diet together. If you exercise without dieting, you will get bigger appetite, whichwill lead to increase of weight, or muscle growunderneath the fat layer, and make you bulkier. If you diet withoutexercising, you will become flabby and will have excess skin. Fordiet, go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no foodafter 7 p.m. People achieve marvellous results with it. Depending onyour initial weight, you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. Ifyou don t eat wheat then you don t eat all those sticky, fatty goeycakes, you don t eat junk food, and you don t eat biscuits. But yourdiet is still balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have tocalculate points or to buy special meals or plans. For exercising, start with walking, and then switch to running/jogging. Running is themost efficient and calorie-burn exercise ever. If you are overweight alot, walk first or you may have health complications (heart attack, disjointed bones and so on). Weight lifting is a good means to targetyour problem areas for men and women. It s not necessarily to become abodybuilder or even join a gym - a couple of dumbbells will help youto target your problem areas (stomach, butt, legs, arms, chest).

1. Exercise is one of the main things you need to start doing. Although exercise may not be at the top of your list, it is one of the best ways that you can start slimming down as fast as possible. If you are going to start exercising, one option is the fastest way to lose weight running2. Diet. Cut back on the calories that you are eating. This is very important. You cant expect to lose if you dont lower the amount of calories that you take in every day.Avoid high sugar foods, fried foods, and processed foods. Get 5 servings of veggies and fruits, and plenty of lean protein should be a part of your diet too3. Drinking water is a great option when youre looking for the fastest way to lose weight. Most people arent getting the water they need. Start taking in about ten glasses of water a day, which will help you to lose some weight. Water is important to your overall health and it can also help to flush out fat so you can slim down faster.

Hi Jermaine,Losing weight fast and in a healthy way is not as hard as you may think. In fact, it can be pretty easy. Just cutting soda and sugary drinks from your diet COMPLETELY is just one awesome way to lose weight fast easy and healthily. (I lost 10 pounds alone only with that one change) That along with the other tips I m going to share below (all are very safe and healthy) and you will be on your way to easily losing the weight and keeping it off.As cliche as it may sound you gotta eat your veggies. They are amazingly good for you, also raw nuts (almonds are best) fruits, and 100% whole grain breads instead of white flours (white flour is very bad for you, read up on it if you get the chance!) Try and stay away from fried foods and fast food as much as possible, and other empty calories and foods that provide you no nutrients, like ice cream/candy/cake etc. Common sense goes a long way with what foods to eat and how to be healthy, so use it :)Building healthy eating habits and keeping the weight off in the long term is what you should really strive for. Also, make sure you don t count calories, it can drive you CRAZY! Just eat GOOD calories, and when your satisfied, stop eating. Try to eat more meals a day and portion them smaller, it really is proven to speed up your metabolism and burn fat way faster. If you mix this in with the other things I ve shared, you will be on your way to easily losing weight and keeping it off.Just be persistent, set goals, make little changes and stick with them. You will get to where you want to be. You really have to want it, I did, and I m at my goal weight now. Please check out my blog, I think you will enjoy the information and my weight loss story. The link is below, good luck!

we have no idea what you mean by overweight. we need your height and weight. if you re at the median for height and weight on the bmi calculator, you d want jogging, swimming, sports. if you re higher end of the bmi calculator. you d start off with brisk walking 40 minutes at 90-120 heart rate 3-4 times a week and controlled diet (ie controling the intake to your daily requirements according to weight) to start and increasing your speed as your health improves.

I know this is all your going to hear, but Diet Exercise is key. Diet is about 80% of weight loss and exercise is 20%. If you hate exercising the first step is dieting. Get rid of all the greasy, salty, sugary food you ve been eating. Throw away the soda, potato chips, french fries... Stop going out to eat it s horrible for you! Visit your local grocery store and get LOTS of fruit vegetables. Eat chicken, fish, brown rice, fruit, veggies, oatmeal (not sweetend), low fat milk, low fat yogurt, for snacks fruits veggies are great. Then to fasten the pace of loosing weight hit the gym or go outside for a brisk long walk. Something to get those calories burned. Don t eat carbs after 3 and dinner after 6 or 3 hours before you sleep don t eat.

Eat healthy. You don t have to go crazy on counting calories or whatever, but once you start eating healthier, you ll feel better. If you already are eating healthy, get active! Start by walking, swimming, or any other sport you like. Take small steps, and the payback will be awesome!! Trust Me.

I want to become a stripper and I need to lose weight first help!? -

I want to live that night life, dancing on stage for guys. I want to be 100% confident with my body. What should I do to lose weight fast. so I can shake my a**?

Lol, I m a working stripper, and I can tell you, that night life isn t all that it s cracked up to be. Plus if you want to have your own list of long term clients, you need a good personality. You have to deal with constant sprained ankles from wearing heels all the time, I currently have a slight tear in my calf muscle from doing stages. You ll get bruised, you have to deal with uncomfortable attention, plus you ll most likely spend most of your time *off stage* selling dances to guys that want to grab your chest and privates. The money isn t always good, the management isn t always there for you. Sometimes girls walk away with less than 10 dollars profit after the tip out and stage fee. You ll make money for maybe the first two weeks as the new girl, but after a while you ll really have to hustle on the floor. Plus a lot of drama between the girls. Stealing, drugs, prostitution, you name it, we have it. I ve even seen a stripper with missing teeth because of her drug habit. If you slip and hurt yourself seriously, you might be forced to come into work because you have no money. I ve seen a girl with foot fracture, hip fracture, ankle sprain, and bruised ribs(all at once) come into work with only Ibuprofen. I m not trying to take your dream away, but I m just letting you know what *really* goes on backstage so you can decide whether you want to or not.To answer your question about weight, curvy girls generally make more money than simply skinny girls. Just remember, you need an a** to shake your a**.Miss Cran Juice - I m working on finishing my computer engineering degree, you make it sound like all of us are stupid streetwalkers.

I want to be a stripper too :)I m not sure how you can lose weight fast, when I want to lose weight I usually just stop eating, but that s not very healthy. I suggest eating as much fruit and veg as possible and taking up yoga - it s fun!Good luck with being a stripper! I m sure you ll be awesome!!Oh, and Cran Juice . I m a straight A+ student. Thanks for the concern.

I want to do the same thing:)Start off with a cleanse, if your not completely vegan you have for lack of a better term sludge in your intestines. Try master cleanse it will get rid of that (3-10 lbs). Then eat a lot of raw veggies and fruit.Fish is good for protein, or nuts.Drink LOTS of water, that will make you lose water weight.Cut down on snacks, Don t eat after 7.Cardio will burn the fat, running will burn fat and tone your *** and legs.

LOTS AND LOTS of cardio, start counting calories stay atleast under 2000, lots veggies lots of fruit, even out everything else outAnd you can be confident, start dancing in fron the mirror naked learn what angles make your body hot...and go check out clubs talk to girls...

I have news for you, if you feel like being a stripper would give you confidence, you obviously have no self respect. I feel sorry for you, my dear.

tons of cardio and a good strict low cal/carb diet I look forward to seeing on on the pole

why?!??

What is the best way for a pre-teen to lose weight fast? -

I m almost 50 and my daughter is 12... yet, she weighs more than me. recently, she has realized that all of her friends are really thin and she says they are calling her fat. how can i help her get thinner or how can she make herself get thinner? thin FAST?

Her body is still maturing don t try any major diets as may lead to lack of proper nutrition. Really quick tips since i just type a whole page on a recent and similar question.1.) Don t skip meals- it slows metabolism and stores fat2.) High Fiber Diet- major component of healthy weight loss, helps digestive system3.) 6-10 cups of water daily- Helps all body functions and contributes to a healthier well being, also improves effects of fiber4.) Protein- builds muscle mass, which builds more calories5.) Cardio and Weight lifting

watch what she eats!!!instead of chips (or things like chips) for a snack, give her some fresh fruit or vegetables.get some excercise into her day, everyday. do things that she finds fun. introduce her to sports she hasnt heard of, she might end up loving it. reassure her when it comes to her friends, its not good to be made fun of so young. she shouldnt have a worry in the world.good luck!!!
