Has anyone heard of REMovyl? -

i read something in cosmo about it, and the article said that the chick lost 37 pounds in 20 days.! i know that isnt a healthy weight loss. but im not one to stick to long term things. Does anyone know if it actually works like they say, and if you have to follow a strict diet/exercise plan to make it work?let me know! thanks:)

Never heard of it. If you want to lose weight and lose it fast, I suggest you use proactol. My mom and aunt swear on it. A week after they started using it, we all noticed their weight loss. If your interested and want more information, below is a helpful site.

CRYING RIGHT NOW! .... (Please answer)? -

As you read by the title I am crying. I am crying because no matter what I do I know I will never have a healthy body. As some of you already know I have been exercising for almost 3 months and haven t gotten anywhere! I am so ashamed of myself!! I am only 12 years old, 4ft 10 and I weigh 60kg (132 pounds). I even have to go on the Tony Ferguson Weight loss program now because my weight is going SO out of control. As I sit here crying typing this question all I can think about is how Fat I am and how I m going to turn out like my mum.My mum has rewened her body by drinking, no exercise, over-eating, smoking and drugs. She doesnt even have a neck anymore and I am afraid of turning out like her. She says I wont because I will never do any of those things but I know with my luck I will still turn out like her.I am SO scared! I feel so rotten and I really need your help. If you have any questions feel free to ask and I will answer them.

I think your mum will affect you! Whoa, tell her not to smoke and that, actually, as a girl in a city with fat girls around, I think you should do a lot of exercise when you re free, as long as you don t pass out. Don t eat in the next hour or so. Drink water if you can t stand it. Be sure to add no seasonings to food, and if that is not tasty, give it olive oil. Drink Diet coke. Eat no sugar. Exercise?! Better do it in fresh-air parks. Jumping ropes will increase your height and make your heart healthier. And make sure you take in no second-hand smoke!

Sweetie, you are 12 years old. Why are you so distressed about this? For your own sake, I would STRONGLY recommend NOT dieting. You will do more damage to your body than you realize and will almost ensure that you have metabolism problems and weight problems as you get older. What you can do is stop drinking soda/pop, stop eating sweets and other sugar based things, and above all else, do NOT eat fast food, and exercise 3-4 times a week. Try eating smaller portions more time per day instead of large meals, and drink lots of water even if you don t like the taste or water. When you start doing healthy things like that your body WILL change! The hardest part is resisting the bad eating habits and unhealthy food choices of the past.

i went through the same thing a few years ago. trust me yoou can lose the weight. i dont know what youve tried already. maybe yore under eating. that would cause your metabolism to slow down. eat when youre hungry. just dont allow yourself any sweets or fried food. and eat smaller portions. as far as exersize, just go for a fast walk for at least 20 minutes a day. if oyu stick to those few things for 3 months i know youll lose the weight. just be patient. it won happen over night. good luck

hello dear.my goodness, at 12 years old - none of this should be concerning you.i m 30 - and i ll tell you a little something.most people look nothing LIKE they did at 12, by the time they finished high school. in fact, the majority of people who were heavier, got their growth spurt in high school and ended up just fine.it s not difficult to deal with your weight, but you need to understand that there is no quick fix solution. you ve only been at it three months and this is NOT a long time, when talking weight loss.join a sports team, get stuck into lean meat, fruits and veg. avoid fats and sugar (ie any take away, lollies, sugary drinks, fruit juices etc) and drink loads of water.the very worst thing to do is sit there and cry about it.i ve been in your position before. i was very lean, but went through a difficult time and doubled my weight (50kgs to 100kgs in ONE year). that sucked.one day, i d had enough. i decided that day to change the way i ate and overhaul my life. it really was as simple as that. i wouldn t call it a diet as that implies that i only did it for a week. today - five years later, i still eat the same way as i decided that day. no binging or chocolate or cordial. just eating good, healthy food.i found that changing the way i ate worked wonders. once i d started getting the weight off, things started getting easier.kudos to you for actually exercising (i hate excercise!!) but you need to take a look at your diet too.

Take a deep breath. And another... and another...I know what your going through. I know what it s like to be up late at night and stressing over everything.I promise, you will be okay. I weighed like EXACTLY that much when I was your age... believe me, it gets better. You won t end up like your mom. Your mom has made choices in her life, that s why she is who she is. And that s with everyone. And it s not a bad thing. You don t HAVE to make the choices she has. You can learn from them and decide you don t want to be like her.You need to just be you. No matter what you weigh, just being you is more than good enough for the rest of the world. I know it may not be what you ultimately want... but it s what your best at. So why not embrace it?I ve found that when I m not trying to loose weight, I loose it. It s usually when I m happy and active. Like going out with friends to a park or something.I really can relate to what your going through and you don t have to be anything you don t want to be. You don t have to be your mom. I don t need to look at you to know your a beautiful human being... and you always will be... no matter what you look like. It s hard to know that and except it, but it s true.

wow, first of all..is your mom still doing all of that stuff while you are around her? i would say the number one thing to get sorted out is her behavior around her children. it s the most unhealthy thing about your post.secondly, stress is a major factor in weight loss. it sounds like you might be more than a little stressed about your weight loss and lack thereof, as well as perhaps a few other things?if you re only 12, you are still growing. weight loss probably is not going to happen right now, and rightfully so. you are growing and need the nutrients and fat and carbs and all that stuff food provides. if you deprive yourself now, you re only setting yourself up for greater failure later in life.i would suggest addressing some of the other issues going on in your life other than your weight, and get happy and healthy and see where things go from there. i know a lot of the times that i am down or something in my life is making me nuts is when i hang onto extra weight. once i sort things out though, things start to improve and i can only suggest the same for you.

Well first, Dont be like your mom. When you think your fat, just remember who you are and there will always be someone fatter out there. Getting in shape takes work and effort.it took me about 4 years to get the way i wanted. I use to be a weak kid and small. im 16 now and i look(no joke) like a body builder. after a few years of good diet, exercising, and making it a life goal to get big, i did it.trust me, nothing comes easy. dont give up hope. learn to live with it and be happy. things change trust me. if you cant(but i have faith, everyone and anyone can do anything they set their mind to)then learn to like it. find its good sides.trust me there are good sides to everything. One thing i suggest is less soda, more fruit and veg. no joke. trust me, with some work i promise in a few months youll be turning heads. Dont give up, and until you achieve, learn to love it

Trying to lose weight for my modeling.? -

NY is really demanding. Most models are at least 5 8 and are 100-110 pounds. I don t think I ll ever get that low. I m 5 7 and 128 right now. I m really thin but have areas I could trim down. Once I trim down completely, I really don t think I ll be that low. Maybe 110-120 if I am lucky. I m not willing to starve myself. I don t want healthy problems or a dampened metabolism. Do you think I have heavy bones? My dad is under 6 and told me he s over 210. I couldn t believe it. He looks maybe 180. How much more weight can heavy bones ad? I have a small-medium frame. Also, do you have any healthy weight loss tips? Anyone or any models want to share? Thanks!

I m glad you aren t willing to compromise your health for your looks. Unfortunately, in the modeling industry, you re going to be asked to. If anything you are slightly underweight. You are at the very bottom of the healthy weight range for an adult your height. The healthy minimum is exactly 128 according to WeightWatchers.com, the maximum being between 147 and 160 depending on your age. Being in the world of modeling is unhealthy for your body, mind, and spirit. You seem sweet and intelligent, and I recommend finding a career in which you are accepted for the beautiful, healthy person you are.

Bones are the lightest part of your body, besides the lungs (which are full of air).

you don t want to get anorexic so maybe you shouldn t do modeling

Adkins diet? -

I ve heard that it does work, but some people say it is not good for you. Is that true? I am looking for a weight loss program.

Yes, very bad. You need carbs. You do lose weight quickly but the down side is you also lose energy and if you get off the diet you gain it back and plus some. Eat 5-6 small meals(just untill you are satisfied) a day and doing some kind of excercise 3 times a week.

Check out Low-GI (Glycemic Index) diets. Much more balanced, and practical.

yes it does work but I dont agree with it, because you need carbs, its what gives you energy.

it does work, until you go off the diet. Then you turn into a balloon. It really isn t healthy for you-your body needs carbs because thats its primary source of energy.

Carbs are the primary fuel source for the brain and nervous system. In addition, they are the ONLY fuel source for the red blood cells and the kidneys. If the body is short on carbs, it will break down protein to make carbs for these functions. This generates a lot of uric acid which the kidneys work overtime (while short on fuel) to flush out. The loss in muscle and water accounts for most of the weight loss attributed to low carb diets. Any loss in fat is because cutting out carbs is simply cutting calories. It lowers your resting metabolic rate and if you increase your calories back to normal (usually by adding back carbs), you gain it all back. This diet brings the risk of hypoglycemia, gout (from uric acid), overworked kidneys, dehydration, mineral depletion, and constipation. Here is more info on low carb diets.http://spartafit.com/articles/low%20carbA better way to lose fat is to do the following:Eat 6 small but balanced meals per day. Your carbs should be high in fiber and your proteins should be lean. Fats should be sparing but concentrated in the omega 3 s and omega 6 s. Avoid greasy foods, alcohol, and candy.Lift weights because the slight increase in your lean mass will burn extra calories 24 hours per day. This will increase your resting metabolic rate. Also, some cardio helps.Use a measuring tape instead of a scale to measure your progress because it is more accurate than the scale. Here is more info on fat loss.http://spartafit.com/main/fat%20loss.htmhttp://spartafit.com/main/basal%20metabo

I am looking for weight loss tips for vegetarians.? -

I m not in bad shape, but lower body needs toned and I just purchased an elliptical trainer. I want eat right but it is so expensive being a vegetarian unless i want salad everyday. Any tips on low cost (i m a college student) recipes or snacks for an ovo-lacto vegetarians?

It will be well worth it to invest in a variety of dried herbs and spices. If you cannot affort fresh nuts, buy cheap peanut butter for your proteines. If you cannot affort soya products, but a bottle of soya sauce to spice up your food and get your proteines.Wholemeal grains are cheaper than wholemeal rice or pastas, and very nutricious. But, all these contain a lot of carbs, so cut down on the portions.More vegetables. If you buy vegetables that are in season , they will be cheaper than those that were flown in.Fruit for snacks: dry-grilled bananas or apples, boiled bananas with soya sauce, all kinds of fruits spiced up with the herbs.Buy vegetarian soup cubes to make your own veggie soup, with new experiments (your herbs). Try thick slices of cucumber in your soup, it fills but does not add to your weight. And best tip of them all: drink a big glass of water before each meal. It will fill your stomac and stop you from eating (too) much. Not too much salt in your food!Good luck!

Lots of whole wheat grains, water, veggies and fruit.Hummus is cheap!Spread it on flour or sundried tomato tortillasadd veggies. You can also eat hummus w/ carrots/celery sticks.Falafel w/ whole pita bread. Eat whole wheat pasta w/ lots of veggies and marinara sauce. Stir fry s w/ a very little olive oil. Drinking water is the key-don t drink diet sodas or fruit juices.Fruit juice and sodas give you alot of unwanted calories.I would also stay away from Nutra sweet, equal, artifical sweetners.

You may be eating a lot of bread to compensate for the lack of meat. Why not eat diet yogurt and bulky fruit (such as bananas and apples) as snacks?Eating corn can take off weight and fat as a staple food. Try making cornbread, or eating corn on cob itself.

Try not to eat as many carbs--instead of having a whole sandwich, have a peanut butter sandwich using only one slice of bread, and pair it with fruit or vegetables. Honestly, I would just go to the produce department at the grocery store and get whatever is on sale for the week. Fruits that are in season often cost less than out of season fruits. And if you are getting bored with salad, try adding things like mandarin oranges and pecans to it, or use different greens--try romaine or spinach for a change.

chew on a bay leaf all day. It is so delicious. And it makes your eyes all red and your face will start to break out. YES!

Pay attention to your calorie intake. Loosing weight is simple as calories in Vs. calories out. Maintain a caloric defecate and you will lose weight. Minimizing eggs, and dairy products will make it much easier to loose weight, in addition eating bulky high fiber foods.

Back off on the dairy and eggs. Not saying to go vegan, but eat much less throughout the day. Doing this with excercise, you ll notice your weight drop a little!

Here is a great reciepe that is pretty cheep, although I am not sure if it is low fat.Cheesy Pasta BakeIngredients: 1 box tofu, extra firm enough pasta to fill an 8x8 pan (hand full) 8 ounces of your favorite marinara 1/2 block of mozzarella spices: parsley, basil, garlic optional: cayenneDirections:Cook the spaghetti halfway. You don t want it to be mushy once you bake it.While that s cooking, drain the box of tofu and put it into a medium/small bowl. Squish with a fork into small pieces.Add the parsley, basil and garlic (add more of the spices you like best). I mix in a lot of all three. Blend with your fork but don t squish the tofu into too tiny of pieces. Then, grate your mozzarella. Use 1/3 to 1/2 of a block of vegan gourmet mozzarella. Put aside.Drain pasta. Put the pasta into the pan. Add all of the tofu ricotta mix. Mix them together. Now pour your pasta sauce on top of the pasta/ricotta mixture. Pour a little more sauce than you think, so it doesn t dry out.Mix all three ingredients well. You can even put some of the extra ricotta on top, if you had any left over.Once you ve mixed the pasta, ricotta and sauce so that it s equally spaced in the pan, simply add the vegan gourmet mozzarella on top. Use as much as you like.It s important to spray the top of the cheese with your Pam or other oil spray. This makes the cheese on top melt smoothly and have a golden color when it s done.Bake on high, at least 400 degrees (even up to 500) until it bubbles. Don t be afraid to let it cook until it bubbles and starts turning brown.Serves: 4Preparation time: 30 minutesHope this helps...

Here a site for you that is totally free to use and will help you get a weight lose program and routine together http://www.everydayhealth.comIf you gained 15 lbs and you are not sure how you did it, then maybe you should write down everything you eat in one day for a week. More like healthy choices, but enough said about that. I also use a natural product to suppress my appetite. It is also free. Healthy weight loss??? -

i really think i should lose maybe 10-15 pounds before school starts again but i dont want it to be very unhealthy so do you have any ideas?

Well I think it s totally about self-control:Breakfast: integral toast and a 70-calorie yogurtLunch: Fruit (any kind, except banana) and a fish (not fried)Snack if you get hungry: gum or 90-calorie diet barDinner: Light soup (not a creamy soup, it has too much fat)Or maybe a cup of special K or cheeriosSome other tips:DON T EVER DINNER AFTER 7PM, IT HAS BEEN PROVEN IN INVESTIGATIONS AND THAT HELPS A LOT, TRY TO DINNER BEFORE 7, I SWEAR IT S AMAZINGI recommend you coffee in the morning, it gives you a lot of energy! (without sugar, or maybe splenda)Another thing is to drink green tea twice a day, it burns fat and it s good for your healthAnd of course, do at least 50 abs per dayGood luck

I m dealing with the same thing. I think I need to lose more than that but I don t really have a goal, I just wanna look better. Okay. What I m doing is -Riding my bike every day, nonstop for about 30 minutes. EVEN if you get tired, don t stop, I only stop if I feel shaky. -Do you have a younger sibling? Take him/her to the park and let them play while you swing. Great for your legs.-Eat smaller proportions more often. Have a small breakfast within an hour of waking up, a small snack like an hour later, lunch an hour later, a snack an hour later, dinner an hour later, and if its before 7 an hour later, one more snack.-try sticking to only water or tea, but in the mornings have OJ or milk-I know it sounds weird but you stay healthier if you go to sleep around 9 or 10 ( I don t use this one LOL) and then wake up at about 7-10. Any other questions? Email or IM me.

That is very easy. I used to weigh 160lbs then I joined the weight management program. we were asked monitor our food intake and our excercise. Im now 115lbs. Not into the program anymore but still able to maintain my weight. This is the best weight loss for me. healthy and safe. you can check my friendster...angelica balatbat. register to www.friendster.com
