How to lose weight before school? -

Hi, I m 16 years old, and currently 180 pounds. My height is 5 7 and this is what I do. I run for 5 minutes non-stop (yes, I admit)3 sets of 25 situps5 sets of 20 benching.And pretty much after that, before I go to bed, I do 3 sets of 25 situps again and 15 pushups after. I began to eat a lot healthier now. No more sodas, fast foods, and such. Raisin bran cereal, vegetables, lots of fruits, and I drink water and milk ONLY.Am I not running enough?

running itself doesnt do anything, its getting your heartrate up you have to get your heartbeating at a point where it burns calories for a substantial amount of timethats why you need cardio, the best thing you can do is go running for like 30 min everyday and sprint for 1 min without slowing, then jog for 5, and keep doing this

you need to run more for sureatleast 1-3 miles

There s a lot of bad ways that can lead to un-healthy habits and can make you lose some hair, teeth and do a lot of damage to your body such as: Finger down throat, Extreme Laxatives, Starvation. Those are all REALLY bad, and can do a lot of damage.Good ways (that might take some time) would be a radical diet, which is really hard to do but mostly what you eat is just salads. No snacks. I wouldn t suggest trying to loose weight fast simply because loosing too fast can be just as bad for you as being overweight in the first place. Just take your time. Eating healthy will help, and take a 30-minute walk every day. I would say after that pick two workouts for that week, for example, pushups and jumping jacks. The next week, switch them for two different exercises. If you run out after a few weeks, don t be afraid to do two you may have done a couple of weeks ago, just make sure to switch it up so that you aren t doing the same thing two weeks in a row. That way you ll loose weight without plateau effects .

Definately try eating small meals 5 or 6 times I ve always heard that works really well especially if you drink lots of water with every meal. Water gets old fast when you have to drink alot of it, so try mixing it up by making lemonade, fruit punch mixes, iced tea mixes. anything. I already do this with my drinks and I plan on trying the meal thing myself soon.

i bet your very beautiful and not fat AT ALL! and honestly, there is NO fast way to losing weight. though i do recomend pilates :] its a fun way to lose weight! and girlfriend...you can eat WHATEVER you want! just don t eat TOO much! like you can have your chocolate and your pasta and bread! the good stuff!!!! that just means you can t snack in between :] give it a try! best of luck to you!

Its all about eating 5/6 SMALL meals a day, drinking lots of water, doing at least 30 min a cardio/5 days a week and doing some kind of weight training(I prefer circuit training).... Good luck!

stop eating so much and start going to the gym. if you don t want to go to the gym then wake up early and go to run. when i said stop eating doesn t mean that you should not eat anything, eat healthy stuff like tomatoes and stuff like that

be sure you eat healthy food. cut out fast food and exercise more. by exercise more i don t mean necissarly to go to the gym, but walk more, dance as you walk, etc.

Take Fish Oil pills with Omega 3 and AppleCider Vinager pills every day. Also Eat an Apple and an Orange evryday if possible. I lost 30lb in a month and a week. Good Luck!!

tape your mouth. simply eat lighter meals, but more throughout the day. thisll help speed your metabolism, which will help you digest food quicker. and exercise. take up pole dancing. its great 3 [:

Eat normally according to food pyramid and exercise.

Try the atkins diet for awhile you are never hungry on it and walk drink lots of water

Fast? Impossible while staying healthy....

To lose weight should i run or should i run and do weights? -

i wanna lose weight but and i am already starting to eat healthy.....but i wanna noe if i should just run to lose weight faster or should i run and do weights. and also i wanted to noe dat if i took protien shakes will that mess up my diet...thnx

Protein shakes will mess up your diet if it is taken in addition to what you are already eating. If you fit the shakes into you calorie or carbohydrate plan, they shouldn t hurt. I ve used them on low carbohydrate plans, and they are wonderful for sustaining consistent energy levels, but even better, they help me not be hungry. In the meantime, I d do both running and weights if you can. Running is good for your heart if you do it right, but weights is also good for increasing your metabolism, helping sustain calcium levels in your bones, and also good for improved balance. That was the most surprising thing, I think, about lifting weights for me is that my balance improved so fast. Other than that, it is a good idea to have variety in your exercise plan, which keeps you from getting bored and quitting, so that s another good reason to do weights as well.

Do both, you should get enough protein in your diet, too much protein can be damaging for your kidney, take the protein shakes if you want to build muscle quickly or a lot of itgood luck

Interval trainning is the best way to lose weight. Here are two great examples.(1) According to how many you can do I suggest 15 to 25 push-ups. Wait 30 seconds to 1 min. then do 15 to 25 crunches. Wait 30 seconds to 1 min. then do either 10 to 15 pull-ups or dips. Then rest for about 3 to 5 minutes. Repeat until you can t do anymore. Start this routine at 50% capacity if it is too difficult. Then work it up. Do this routine no more than 3 times a week.(2) On your off days you can do interval jogging. It is simple yet difficult and effective. Start by jogging for about 2 minutes at a slow pace. After 2 minutes sprint as fast as you can for 15 to 20 seconds. Then return to the jogging speed for 2 minutes. Repeat the sprints until you have been jogging and sprinting for a total of 20 minutes. Again start easy and work your way up. You might not even be able to make it to 10 minutes doing this which is fine.Do not exceed this routine more than 3 times per week.

Muscle burns more fat, so you should do both cardio and weight bearing exercises. Don t worry about the protein shakes. Contrary to popular belief protein shakes just add calories. If you are eating properly your body should have all the protein it needs to maintain healthy muscle tissue. If you feel like you need more protein, eat more lean meats such as chicken, fish, and egg whites. Also Drink plenty of water to help cleanse your body.
