How to lose weight as a teen. Help out please? -

Got 9 weeks until school is over and vacation starts. I am trying to lose weight before then. I m 16, 5 6 200lbs. I have muscle and can lift.(fat-athletic). What i need is a nutrition plan and workouts or regimes. So i need some good advice. Help me out. No set weight goal. (mostly belly fat and thigh fat) how to cut those?

dude, it doesn t have to be that complicated. just got out some small things, like absolutely no white bread, pasta or sugar. that means no cookies, soda (diet isn t too good either, drink only water), absolutely no pastries, no pizza and eat vegetables and fruit at every meal. diet is 75% of it man. you are already working out so as soon as you cut out the bad stuff, then the lbs will start coming off. You don t have to make drastic changes man, just avoid the stuff thats bad for you anyway.

I usually grab something small for breakfeast like an apple....then I skip lunch..and eat half of what I would normally drink and eat for supper...and Only Drink Water.

i play football bro i kno wuts up...juss run.. do sum laps everyday monday to friday.. drink water..no more sodas..try 2 drink lemonades and punches... and do sum sit ups and push ups..and ur good

How to lose weight at school? -

Ok...school has started back and since then have been gaining weight i am 13 and about 5 6 5 7 somewhere around there.I lost so much on summer break so where i eat school lunch and when i try not to eat at school it is so hard not to because when lunch time rolls around i am starving and i don t want to bring my own lunch so what are some ideas that could help me?

There s only ONE WAY to lose fat - and that is to create a calorie deficit. However, there are two ways to create a calorie deficit - one is to decrease your food intake so you are eating less than you burn, the other is to increase your exercise and activity so you are burning more than you eat.Of the two ways to create a calorie deficit, burning the fat is far superior to starving it. You see, cutting calories too much causes weight loss at first, but it also causes muscle loss and it eventually leads to a decrease in metabolism, so the weight loss stops. This is very common on conventional diets, right? You lose weight in the beginning, but then you hit a plateau that you just can t break through. Cutting calories even more at this point only digs you even into a deeper metabolic hole. Eating more of the right foods (up to a certain point) actually increases your metabolic heat like putting wood on a fire. Food is energy; food is fuel, and it produces (metabolic) heat.Exercise burns calories and creates a calorie deficit, but the real advantage of exercise over diet is that exercise increases your metabolism, dieting slows it down. Exercise also has major health benefits, while starvation can only create health problems. So if you eat more (healthy foods) and exercise more, you get a double increase in metabolism. If you eat less and exercise less you get a double decrease in metabolism. That makes complete sense doesn t it?The IDEAL exercise program for fat loss has a combination of cardiovascular (aerobic) training and strength training. But ultimately, you re not likely to stick with exercise long term unless you choose activities you enjoy - so pick something you enjoy, even if it doesn t follow the guidelines of traditional fat loss programs. It s better to do something than nothing, and all exercise counts. Some people may have orthopedic problems which limit the type of exercise they can do. But nearly everyone can walk. So if you can walk, then walk. And almost everyone can do some type of strength training. Instead of focusing on what you can t do or what you don t like to do, direct your attention to what you CAN do and what you would like to do.Maybe you don t like being couped up inside all the time. Maybe you d prefer hiking or jogging outside. Or maybe boxing or martial arts sounds cool to you. Maybe you like basketball or tennis. Maybe you d enjoy classes, or yoga or pilates. Your options are nearly unlimited, but you have to do something or your body will begin to deteriorate. As you increase your lean muscle mass, you ll also get a permanent increase in your resting metabolic rate. Muscle is what drives your metabolism, keeps you young and makes you look more physically attractive. Others will notice how good you look, and you ll feel better about yourself too. Yes, you may lose weight from diet alone, but you re likely to end up a skinny fat person with a slow metabolism and very little lean body mass (not to mention, you ll probably gain back all the fat)Last, but not least, be careful what you say to yourself over and over because that tends to program your subconscious mind and create your self image. If you ve been repeating to yourself for years, I m not big on exercise or I m not an exercise person , that eventually becomes a part of your identity. You always tend to behave in alignment with your identity in order to stay true to yourself. Maybe when you look in the mirror after just a few weeks and see your body start to change you ll begin to like enjoy exercise a LOT. It can get addictive, you know. The endorphins that are released when you exercise are like opiates. Ever hear of runners HIGH? Ever hear of an exercise addict? What would YOU rather be hooked on? Forget about popping pills, Your body is the most exquisite pharmacy on the planet. Exercise is a better fat burner, health creator, energy producer and anti-depressant than any man-made drug will EVER be. Exercise can be fun and FEEL GOOD too.Human beings were meant to move. Bodies don t lose their function by being used too much and wearing out , they lose their function by not being used enough and rusting out. So if the positive benefits of exercise don t motivate you enough, then just picture yourself 10, 20 years from now and imagine what will happen to you if you DON T start exercising today.Check out my website, where I have reviewed the top weight loss products.http://www.my-linker.com/hop/weightlossrI hope this is beneficial to you reaching your goals!

Healthier school lunch options:1)Pack a little container of salad dressing and eat with raw veggies such as carrot and celery sticks, broccoli and cauliflower pieces, etc.2)Instead of a cookie or other sweet item, pack a mixture of dried fruit, nuts, and coconut.3)Add a few cubes of cheese or even string cheese for extra calcium.4)Pack apples and pears that have been cored and sectioned to make eating easier.5)Make extra salad at dinner and pack a small portion to eat with half a sandwich.6)Take a small container of 1-2 tablespoons of peanut butter to smear on an apple or pear.7)Take a wedge of Laughing Cow cheese and eat with veggies or whole-wheat crackers.8)Make a sandwich with whole wheat tortilla instead of bread. Fill it with veggies and some lean turkey.9)Hot soup in a thermos.10)Hard-boiled eggs11)Yogurt with a little fruit and some granola or Kashi on top.

Okay so im 16 and overweight i need advice of how to lose weight in a healthy but fast way? -

i just need to figure out how to lose around 20 pounds a month so i can be a healthy weight for my height and age.

Well dream on because you can t possibly lose 20 pounds a month unless you are morbidly obese.Eat 5 to 6 small healthy meals a day, drink plenty of water and move.

you should drink lots of watereat salad with NO dressing and if you cant then put a lite dressingoccasionlly eat your favorite food in a small portionmake sure to excersize EVERY DAYtry some hobbies like snowboarding, or swimming[which ever part of the world your from]overall just cut down your intake and eat healthy =]

weightwatchersexerciseeat healthyya knowhow much overweight are you?

it is advisable to loose no more than 2 pounds a week. Drop 500 -600 less calories a day. you will slim down fast. lay off the @#$%^%^%%% ! soft drinks especially the diet ones these make you hungrier.

First you should go to a dietician he will give you a precise diet for your age and weight...... 2nd... Go to a gym

20 pounds per month for one isnt a healthy amount to be losing, you should be aiming for approx. 8-10 pounds per month. There are many reasons for this but the main is that if you lose weight at too fast of a rate the body does not have time to adjust (metabolism, liver, kidney and mostely skin) so IF you did lose it at 20 pounds per month you will find you will have a lot of loose excess skin which is not what you want at all.If you aim for 8-10 pounds you will be at a much healthier weight loss rate and your body will adjust much better and ultimately the results will be long term as opposed to losing it quick and putting it on quicker.A few suggestions:Try reducing your carb intake (white bread, pasta, rice etc) increase your protein (red meat) and fibre (oats, bran) intake this will help with metabolism as well as provide a good source of food for your muscles once you start working out. Aim to eat 5-6 meals per day with latest being approx 7pm. and ensure that your last meal of the day is smallest (metabolism slows down towards end of day)Exercise:Start with cardio (20min jogs 4 days per week) then in second week introduce a 20minute resistance strength session before your cardio (ab crunches, push ups, leg lifts, squats etc) and as you get more comfortable keep increasing the intensity, its always important to lift the level to keep your body adjusting and challenging this will keep the weight loss consistent. If you want more info on some nice healthy recipes or workouts i have some on my blog http://myfitmate.blogspot.com/ which i update daily so have a look.good luck.

Go to a gym. Also eat healthy foods and lots of water. Do excersize.

Don t! Please don t! The only way to lose weight that fast is by being bulimic or anorexic. I have been personally bulimic and it was definitely not the answer. Dont go through hell like I did.You need to write down what you eat usually everyday, and stop eating 500 calories worth of food. If you do this continuously, you can lose a pound or two every week. Even though it doesnt seem like a lot, it will add up. So in a month, you can lose 4 pounds. If you want to lose more pounds, exercise. Play DDR, run, jog, play a sport in school. Anything to keep you moving for at least half an hour everyday. But the most important thing, is that you need a friend to help you. Find someone who wants to lose weight, too, and ask them to be your Weight Loss Program Buddy! Someone to be with along the way who will continuously encourage you and stop you from eating those fatty foods will keep you on the road to weight loss. The only way to lose weight in a healthy way is taking it slowly.Best of luck

Grapefruit Juice (unsweetened)2 Eggs (any style)2 Slices BaconLunch1/2 Grapefruit or 4 oz. Grapefruit Juice (unsweetened)Meat (any style, any amount)Salad (any kind of dressing)Dinner1/2 Grapefruit or 4 oz. Grapefruit Juice (unsweetened)Meat (any style, any amount) (fish may be substituted for meat)Vegetables (any green, yellow, or red vegetables cooked in butter or any seasoning)Bed Time Snack1 glass tomato juice or 1 glass Skim milkVegetables AllowedRed onions, green onions, bell peppers, radishes, cucumbers, broccoli, spinach, lettuce, cabbage, carrots, peas.Vegetables to AvoidWhite onions, potatoes, celery.Instructions 1. At any meal you may eat until you are full - until you can t eat any more. 2. Don t eliminate anything from the diet, especially don t skip bacon at breakfast or omit salads. It is the combination of foods that burn fat. 3. The grapefruit is important because it acts as a catalyst that starts the burning process. 4. Cut down on caffeine - it affects the insulin balance that hinders the burning process. Try to limit to 1 cup per meal at mealtime. 5. Don t eat between meals. If you eat the combination of food suggested you will not be hungry. 6. Note that the diet completely eliminates sugar and starches, which are lipids and form fat. Fat doesn t form fat; it helps burn it. You can fry food in butter and use butter generously on vegetables. 7. Do not eat desserts, bread, and white vegetables or sweet potatoes. You may double or triple helpings of meat, salad, or vegetables. Eat until you are stuffed. The more you eat of the proper combination of food, the more you lose.

jog every night untill you think your gonna hurleat as little as possible, eating nothing but fruits and vegitablesand eat like 6 small meals a day =]

Running daily and controlling calorie intake. Swimming is another excellent choice of activity. 30-45 minutes of running or swimming every day or two days should see you right (providing you make lifestyle changes! - Cut down on sugar, fatty food, etc.)

Hi I have tried one program and it works on me and my friends. And the best part is you need not starve and you can eat 4 meals a day! If you follow the program, you should lose about 9 Ibs in 11 days. So 20 Ibs in a month... that s your target.Visit my webpage at http://www.fatlossfast.org to find out more. Dr Jo Johnson

~Aim towards 30 min of cario exercise a day. examples/ running on a treadmill, a jog around the block, biking, aerobics, step class, swimming laps, etc... ~Do ab work every day. It doesn t automatically get rid of the beer belly, but will tone your abs. I recommend 100 crunched (and 10 push ups) every day. Increase these numbers as you get stronger.~Meet with a personal trainer who will help a ton!!!~Find a fun aerobics tape and do it at home. Also try dance tapes, as this is a cardio activity that will burn calories~Always make sure a parent and/or doctor knows about your plans in case you get sick. Working out when you are overweight can cause fevers, headaches, stomach aches, and you could even pass out. If you have these symptoms you want an adult to be able to help you get better.~Don t aim for more than 2-4 pounds a week or you will be unhealthy. The first week of a healthy plan might result in losing a few more pounds, but that is water weight. Just don t expect those numbers every week~Weigh yourself once a week and keep track of your numbers. Weigh yourself at the same time, like right when you wake up. It sounds crazy, but the more you weigh the more likely you are to get an eating disorder.Always be healthy! I hope I helped. Happy 2008 ( :PS Try eating about 1,600 calories per day. Don t eliminate carbs or proteins. Try to eat lean meats (turkey, fish, chicken), vegetables (1-2 salads a day with little or no dressing, use light dressing), fruit (have 2 snacks, both containing a fruit and some nuts or granola), and carbs (whole wheat pastas or breads, whole grain bagels for breakfast), and reward yourself 1-2 times per week with a Skinny Cow ice cream dessert, a small slice of homemade cake, or a couple of cookies. Try keeping a food diary, write down everything you eat. It helps to have an accountability partner (friend, parent, sibling) who can look at your diary and help remind you and encourage you to stick to your goals.Good Luck!!!

You can easily type in on google Butt exercises or ab exercises and will come up with tons of things. Squats, and lunges are good workouts. You should definetly eat more healthy . Losing 20 pounds a month is almost impossible. You would have to really cut down on sugars, start eating more fruits and veggies and workout out an hour a day everyday. Good luck!

GOOD DIET GOOD EXERCISE AND GREEN TEA SUPPLEMENTS ALSO DRINK HOT GREEN TEA AND DRINK LOTS ANS LOTS OF WATER

How to lose weight on your chin/neck...? -

Overall weight loss. Sometimes people have a weak jawline and even a normal weight can appear like a double chin thing is going on. There is no way to target this area for weight loss. Overall weight loss...if it would be healthy or plastic surgery...not advisable are the only options. You can use creative make-up techniques using shadowing to make this area appear more drawn in. You will want to use foundation one to two shades darker than your skin tone under your jaw going down to your neck area, and a foundation one shade lighter along your jawbone upward to give this illusion. Keep it within 1-2 shades of your natural skintone so it will look natural.

loose 10-15lbs overall

Drink a lot of water instead of carbonated drinks to make your cheeks, chin, neck, appear less bloated...Or losing 5 pounds would help? But remember that some people, even though they are at a healthy weight, have chubby cheeks and all (look at Kirsten Dunst, Drew Barrymore) so it s okay to have them as long as you re healthy.

head stand workouts.
