Stomach weight loss tips? -

okay sooo, ive lost a total of about 45 pounds over the past like year and a half. and now i pretty much just need to focus on getting a flatter tummy. without lipo :). ive been doing cardio and stomach combination work outs for like the past month and its feeling kinda tighter, but just like a lil. but yah, i still have the flab, so please....anyy tips?thanks :D

Watch your calorie, fat, carb, sodium, and nutrient intake. Cut the bad and increase the good. And, move more.

Drink water. Lots of it. Most people are dehydrated and don t even realize it. If your body has more water it will work better and your metabolism should rise, which would significantly aid in weight loss over a period of time.So, instead of drinking those soft drinks, drink water!

Stop white flour, white sugar and white potatoes, regular pasta, procressed foods,fast foods, Eating in front of the computer/tvHave rye, and yams, 100% whole wheat pasta, fresh fruits and veggies, make things from scratch. Only eat in the kitchen. Eat small portions, never skip a meal.

eat LOTS of greens! not lettuce because that is almost like drinking water. eat lost of fresh dark greens and leans meats and LOTS of water./

High School? -

So I ve decided I want high school to be awesome (hell who doesn t ?). Well I ve decided I m going to re-do my life. Now I know that whole be happy with who you are thing but I m not because during middle school I lost myself. I became overweight, I became unpopular, and I became introverted. Prior to seventh grade I was athletic (to a degree), popular (to a degree), and extroverted. And now that I m going to High School I want that back but I m not sure how to get there. Any weight loss tips? I m 190, 5 11 . And this is going to sound shallow but I want to be friends with the popular kids (my old friends prior to me becoming a jerk during my parents divorce). So how can you like become friends with the popular kids? Any tips PLEASE. I would seriously appreciate them, especially weight loss ones, I m too embarrassed to ask my doctor =/ .

The best advice I can give you is believe in yourself. You are worthy of anyones time if you believe you are. You dont need anyone else to jsutify your existence. Just be yourself and you will make new friends. You may find that the poplar people may not have the same values as you and you may not want to be their frien. Be yoruself, the rest with work itself out.EDIT: As far as losing weight, try something simple at first like not drinking any soda, just juice, 100% juice. And no fast food, or fast food once a month. Combine that with a simple exercise routine like walking for 30 minutes a day is very good start.

hey im in high school and i know how you feel try playing more sports and eating less sometimes after people go through something tramatic(the divorce in this case) people turn to different things to make them feel better like food and tv. yes im sure you have heard this all before but some people just dont notice they are doing it. Also try hanging out with the cool people getting to know them. and if that does not work and you are desprete try wearing clothes, playing sports, or hanging out the places they do. but dont be stupid and start smoking, doing drugs or other stupid stuff i know it sounds uncool but you will regret it later. hope all this works for you. well... you need to be positive about it. coz i found if i have a negative mind frame, i dont make progress.what you need to do is try incorporate exercise into your daily routine.. now i dont mean slaving away in the gym, coz that rarely works. i try to go for a brisk walk every day. i also do pilates, which i find is very effective, and you can see results fast. aka a month [but even in the first month of doing it every day you find it becomes easier and you can see muscle tone forming]as for the food problem, you need to break the habit of the 1 becomes 2 etc. i find that i need to stop and distract my self from eating when i am bored hungry or emotional hungry . like jump on the spot, wash your hands, or get out of the kitchen and read a book or something.eat more fiber and protein full foods, as these keep you fuller for longer. and make a set diet as to what times you eat. these should be roughly ever 3-4 hours. but the meals are to be small and healthy. not maccas or supersized crap. =Ptry to drink more water more, as your body may be feeling hungry, but is actually thirsty. so try drink a glass of water 10 minutes before you go to get something to eat, and you may feel your not hungry any more, because you were actually thirsty.so try these, and if you have any more questions, ask. coz i think there is more to *** to it, but i have a mental blank. hehehope this helps! and good luck. just remember, dont starve your self, exercise, and think positive! it all takes time.

just say no. as hard as the sounds its all the advice there is. just say no. when you are Truly 100% committed to losing weight nothing will stop you. you just have to get the the point were your ready to lose weight. You may think you are ready now, but if your having problems only taking one then your mind isn t in the place it should be at. Okay so something that always works for me when I feel poochy or bloated and such are small things that help you to tone your muscles and burn fat at the same time. Things like squats and lunges and leg lifts don t take that much energy but they really help define your butt/hip/thigh area. If you do some of those a few times a week for starters along with some crunches, weights for the arms, and simple stretches, this should really help get you ready for real stuff. I ve found that starting simple like this with things that show results in a reasonable amount of time help exceedingly with my attitude because it motivates me to want to define more areas of the body. One of my friends lost nearly 100 pounds just by walking every day. That s all that she did differently that she never did before. Starting simple can really make the difference. And something to keep in mind, muscle weighs more than fat, so don t let the weight overshadow the results. I play soccer and I love it and it keeps me in marvelous shape, and I am 130. Most of that is muscle because I am pretty defined, so be happy with your successes. I hope that helps.

Your weight is fine. You were probably not meant to be a tiny person, so don t try to be. You will just be fighting mother nature if you do. I weighed 132 as a teenager and tried to fight it. I did every diet in the book and the end result? My metabolism got totally screwed up and I couldn t even smell food without gaining weight. All diets do is mess up your metabolism. Do not diet. Accept your weight. You may try small changes like taking a walk when you can, eating your veggies first, stop putting sugar in your coffee....small things that you can live with for the rest of your life. okay, i m a first year college student on a mission. I m five foot ten, and i weight 150 lbs. over the past month, i ve lost twenty pounds.for the first many weeks, i ate one meal a day, which was almost always a small salad and a glass of water.the results showed fast, and i was happy. i also started jogging two to three miles a day.looking back, a month of strict dieting should have lost me more than twenty pounds. agreeed?anyway, i m trying to lose twenty five more in this month. I m excited to do it, but i don t want to gain it all back when i start eating regularly again. I m learning to eat, and enjoy, healthy foods, and i like working out. However, my weightloss rate has slowed. in the first week i lost five pounds, and by the second week i lost ten.now i m working out more, and eating healthier, but i m losing two or three ounds a week.Does anybody have any tips on how i can lose weight faster?

It s is really unhealthy to excercise and have one small meal a day. That calorie deficit will make the muscle in your bones finer making it easier to break/sprain bones. Just eat three solid meals a day and excercise the same. That way when you do start eating again your metabolism doesn t make you gain the weight back.Good Luck!!

Its not like you weight 300 pounds and want to lose 20 pounds, you only weight 150 and at 5 10 that is pretty lean. Your weight loss is slowing down because your body doesn t have much more to fat to give up so its somewhat of a survival/starvation mode that is setting in.

Just eat your food but in smaller portions eat vegetables if you like and excersize. I love to dance and that is a great way to lose weight you still have fun and you are losing weight with out been bored. It s fun if you have fast music. to keep me motivated, i try to listen to music that you really enjoy. also, try taking a class, rather than working out on your own. it will help having someone tell you what to do, and working with others.when i m doing cardio, i like to read a magazine (preferably a fitness mag) and listen to my iPod. it helps to distract me and i can go for much longer.good luck!

squeeze your butt for a few seconds then release and repeat. you can do it anywhere, in the office, in the car, on the crapper..and for abs you can tighten your abs then release and repeat..those exercise do not compensate in any way for a gym workout but they certainly are a way to keep circulation and keep your muscles going when you are stationary

the thing about the water temperature is a myth, doing that will only burn a couple calories. you can do squats and stationary lunges while in the shower, you can also do those things while brushing your teeth and washing you hands, it adds up!
