Does anyone have weight loss tips, I need fast results? -

Okay, I m 13 5 3 I weigh about 118. I m not like very very athletic but i do get outside on a regular basis and run around, swim, ride bike the usual stuff. Im just not happy with my body at the moment. I have come along way. at the beginning of this year i weighed about 140 now im down to 119 but i lost that much weight within like 2 or 3 months. So idk i have experienced the whole eating diorder thing. So i just want some healthy FAST tips. Any help is much appreciated.

I m pretty sure you know all of the answers...if you really want healthy, it s diet and exercise. Anything fast and extreme isn t healthy. I wish it wasn t true but it is.Up your cardio...I ve found running melts the lbs off. If you normally run for 30 minutes a day, try running 45-60. You ll see results. Just make sure you don t push yourself harder than you are able to do and eat more healthy meals so you don t get lightheaded.Good luck and be safe!!!

I ve lost 30 ponds in three weeks and my friend lost 20 pounds in two weeks. It s a new and effective way to lose weight: http://freedetoxdiet.blogspot.com

I was about to give you some advice with excellent results. But at 13 you re worried about your weight??!! Sorry, Babygirl. Have fun! Weight is the last thing you should be worried about.

damn your 13..and in perfect weight ..stop reading magazines!!!

yeah you might not be happy with your body but honestly you are at an ok weight... it s healthy... just sustain the weight you have now and eat right and keep doing what you are doing and you will be fine...

Try www.weightwatchers.com. You will find a sensible diet that you will lose anywhere from 1/2 lb. to 2 lbs. a week. It s working for me; I ve been a dieter for 30 years and have found them to offer the very best.

Like everyone else said, I think you are fine. But if you want to lose weight, the easiest thing to do is just to eat what you normally eat, but switch to the fat-free version. Also, something few people know: Sodium will cause weight gain, which is why you can gain weight from drinking too many diet sodas. If you stay clear of sugar and sodium, you should be able to get to a weight you are happy with. But remember that being healthy is always more important than being skinny, so talk to a doctor if you continue to have concerns.

Weight loss regime? -

I do cardio 4-6 times a week a strength training 3 times a week. So far i ve lost a few pounds but i need something to kick it up. I need more lower body exercieses and I was also wondering how to add resistance training to my workouts. Any tips? (any other weight-loss tips would be appreciated too)

Resistance training should be part of your training cycle. You need to do some hardcore day, and some days off rather than 5-6 days of training. Up the anie when you intensefy on less days aweek with intense workout on those days.Keep up cardio, but limit it. Take less, train harder.

Do a Regime change! Har Har!! HAR!!!

Weight Loss Tips for a Teen? -

I am a 5 foot 3 inch tall 16 year old girl. My current weight is 128 pounds. I have been losing weight regularly and am becoming much happier with my appearance. Does anyone have tips on how I can loose 13 more pounds by Halloween? Tips on controlling cravings, etc. would be helpful. Thanks so much!!!

Hi Maddie these folkes dropping links in their posts are clueless so just listen to me. You are already in a healthy weight range but you are not eating healthy and by the sounds are starving yourself. What you are calling cravings sounds like hunger to me. This isn t good in the long term because you will be destroying muscle and will start to find it harder to keep weight off. DO NOT even try to lose 13lb by halloween the damage you to your body could end up being unreversable. You need at least 3 good meals a day, plus a few snacks if you feel hungry at all. You can easily eat 1200 to 1400 calories a day and still lose a little weight if you are doing just some exercise. If you want to look better tone your muscles with some strength training. I know it sounds weird but starving your body shocks it and it will go into starvation mode and refuse to lose weight by shutting down many of the bodies more important functions. You will then find you get more tired, can t sleep well, get sicker more easily and the list goes on.Eat, work out a little and you will be way more happy and look heaps better.

The below tips are useful for you.Drink lot more water.Drink Green tea that will help you to reduce weight.Drink lemon juice with warm water. You can drink this after breakfast, lunch.Eat more spicy elements like ginger, garlic, onion, etc. in your food.Swimming is the best way to reduce weight. Try to involve in a game like tennis, badminton, etc.The below link is more useful for you.http://www.atozanswer.com/forum/viewtopi

Weight loss is a marathon, not a sprint. People who lose a half a pound every week are more likely to reach their target weight than the ones who lose a lot of weight at the beginning, and then give up when the going gets tough. The best and most effective way to lose weight or maintain a healthy weight is through changing your eating habits and exercising regularly. 1. Choose whole grains.2. Drink plenty of water.3. Choose lean meats and fish.4. Know the portion sizes for your calorie target.5. Limit fats to an average of 15 grams per meal.6. Choose fresh fruits and vegetables whenever possible.7. Work out for no less that 45 minutes, 4-5 days a week.8. Select foods with less than 3 grams of fat per 100 calories.9. Choose pretzels, baked chips, fat-free popcorn instead of fries and chips.10. Avoid foods with partially hydrogenated oils, trans-fats and high-fructose corn syrup. 11. Choose cereal, bread, crackers or chips that contain 2 or more grams of fiber per 100 calories.12. Choose fat-free or low-fat variety of foods especially when it comes to dairy products (milk, cheese, and yogurt). How To Boost Your Metabolismhttp://bit.ly/10cK3nSmart and Effective Weight Losshttp://short.to/qtabCalorie Burning And Reduction Strategieshttp://bit.ly/EKSci

Help weight loss tips? -

So heres the deal i m twenty one 6 foot and i weigh about 195. All through out school i was over weight then last year i started going to the rec center about 5 times a week and i dropped from 240 to my weight now. I really don t care what my weight is i just want to look my best. my biggest problem now is my stomach its like a pouch. I really just can t seem to get rid of it now I know about the whole diet cardio and ab work out thing, but any other advice would be helpful. thanks alot:)

HiCan you lose weight by fasting for 4 days? ( or only consuming soup which is tantamount to the same level of nutritional deprivation) Of course you can! But will it have any long term, meaningful benefit on your health, happiness or overall wellbeing? I think you already know the answer. With that in mind, and in celebration of my pretty straightforward 2 S theory of weight loss advice ( speed and simplicity) let s look at few simple pieces of advice which will point you in the right direction fast.- Fill up on FluidYes, it seems obvious to many of us, but so many people miss the boat here that it makes me scream. When you are first starting out on a new diet, the first 5 to 7 days are often the roughest, and the best way you can satiate your appetite is to drink like a beached fish until you can t move. Nothing says - keep that cheese cake away from me quite like a bloated belly full of h20! ( or no/low calorie drink of your choosing)- Volume is you friendMost of you know we advocate strongly for the Medifast diet program, and we recommend all of our newbies load up on the lean and green part of the program when you first get started. This is green or the bright colored veggies, and a lean protein as well. ( but we sort of like to see you eat only the veggies in abundance, and the proteins as normal) In combination with the Medifast shakes throughout the day, this is the quickest way we know of to drop major league weight.....in minimum time!

You should definitely try lifting weights. Many people do not seem to grasp how big of a difference they can truly make. Lifting weights is a core exercise which will make you work out your entire upper body, this includes the stomach and the abs. You can buy a used DVD on weight lifting off of ebay for a few bucks, and you might be surprised at how good the results are. I would recommend doing that along with a cardio workout though, as it will boost your results and you will hopefully not get burnt out as quickly.

I recommend Alli.. I started it on Jan 9th.. I started at 195, I m 5 6 and I ve lost 5lbs already.. I don t starve but am rather satisfied after EVERY perfectly sized meal. I feel good as I eat to reach satiety, and work out every day of course....this isn t about me.. but I m giving you my word if you work out, diet according to the Alli guidelines (which are simple and nothing over the edge), you can do it ;]

Any weight loss tips? (such as more water, spicy food speeds up matabalism etc..)? -

i want to loose weight easily... any tips!? (i also am exersizing)i know so far that drinking a lot of water helps, and spicy food speeds up your matabolism... any others!?

dont eat late at night, like 2 hours before bed.dont diet- because avoiding particular foods hardly works.eating popcorn and wheat are things you can eat a little of and feel full.take vitamins, not to lose weight but to replenish your body and be able to cut your eating.eat small meals throughout the day instead of big ones.eat slower- speed makes a huge difference.this sounds gross, but don t hold back when you gotta take a dump. chew gum when your hungry, dont eat unless your hungryget enough sleep at night.remember, losing weight happens during aerobic activity after your heart rate reaches a certain point- you can calculate that online.

Start a weight training regimen and start cardio also. When you perform both of these, up the intensity by doing intervals for cardio and super sets for weight training. By upping the intensity, it forces your body to work twice as hard during the same amount of time, which translates into more calories burned (higher metabolism) when you aren t exercising. Hope this helps.

Ignore those diet scams crap. Drink a few cups of green tea each day - at least two to three. This will help speed up your metabolism. Also, eat slowly, savoring each bite. Your body will register when you re full sooner, and you can avoid stuffing yourself.Eat breakfast each and every morning, even if it s just a piece of toast. This will keep your metabolism running at its peak - and exercise in the morning, rather than the evening, can help as well.Get plenty of sleep and eat more vegetables, and lean meats, like grilled chicken breasts. Also, wheat foods - and foods high in fiber - can help!

Cut out unnecessary foods (no fast food) , only eat when you are hungry and then only until you are full. Swimming and Martial Arts burn the most calories out of any sports out there, and make sure your exercises are varied and increase in difficulty.

My wife has tried everything to lose weight but nothing has worked just as good as the wu yi tea that she drinks, it s been covered on CNN and Fox News. She melted away 7 pounds in five weeks. She buys it off a contact at work but I found this site in Google; www.Wu-YiNow.com - they have a free trial on at the moment, maybe they re worth a try?

Try to eat healthy and avoid snacks. The following website helped me a lot to lose weight:http://www.youfreeweb.com/diet/They give you useful advice and a diet...Good luck!

eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. preferably organic. eat often to keep your metabolism goingdrink green teatake vitamins

Real Mexican food sometimes gives you diarrhea

I DESPERATELY need help with my weightamp;depression!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!? -

I m 16, 5 9, going on 230 pounds now, I m already Pre-diabetic (Type 2) and I suffer from Heart Palpitations and that worries me GREATLY and I have clinical depression, I don t want to do anything anymore, I had dreams of traveling the world but now I don t even want to do that. I cry myself to sleep because I have to look at the beast staring back at me in the mirror, my acne s just recently flared and not enough makeup in the world can cover it and it s DISGUSTING to look at my pizza face, I desperately need help not only with my weight but with my depression. I don t want to be live like this forever....P.S weight loss tips much needed and (NO crash dieting tips) as well as some makeup advice, cloths and how to make myself happy again

Well, to start off here....if you starve yourself you re just going to eventually gain back the weight you lost then some because your metabolism will be so used to burning little amounts of food. The best way to lose weight is gradually, like eating 3 portioned meals a day, five hours apart, and of course lots of fruits and veggies. Some foods are even said to burn more calories than they give you, for example celery. I must add that to lose weight you have to be very, very motivated, and you need support from friends and/or family. If you go to a gym and give yourself a work out regimen that you know you can do(don t set goals too high or impossible) then you will see results. Or even just walking for a half hour each day. Do not try to live up to what people in magazines look like, because they re all fake. As for your acne, you re going to need some sort of wash to help rid them, as simple as that, and it ll take like a week to start being noticeable. Depression is a phase we all go through, and we all want what we can t have, try to accept and live with what you got, and make the best of it. Obviously I can t tell you how to live your life, but to beat depression without self-harm or drugs is by doing something you love, maybe reading, drawing, listening to music, or maybe watching hockey! If you are severely depressed though, best thing is to tell someone who cares about you and to get help. Good luck =)

Do various workouts. Start slow and let your body adjust to being active. Cut out junkfood and sodas. Drink water. My friend lost 100 lbs in 16 months so you can do it too. Forget wearing makeup on our skin...( lipstick and mascara can be used to brighten your face).Trust me I was 16 once upon a time. I suggest Proactive.

I was going to be a smart *** and be mean, but I remember how I was when I was your age. Good luck. It truly will work out in the end.

I know some hockey teams that may be able to use you. You ll be fine.

Play some Hockey, that always helps

^^^Jenni has a good point about the make-up and Proactive. If you can t afford the Proactive, you might want to try what worked for me as a teenager....Irish Spring soap. I do not lie. All I did was wash my face every night with a bar of Irish Spring, and my face completely cleared up as an acne faced teenager. Now, just a crazy suggestion, but I remember a couple of my girlfriends did this in college. They became vegans to lose weight. They went to the peta.org and read stories and watched horrible videos...and they even went are far to visit a local pig farm/slaughter house. I ran into one of them about a year ago...and they still don t eat meat or anything that has to do with animals (no eggs, no milk). It is the hippy way to go, but just a suggestion. I normally would never recommend anything so outrageous, but I am concerned about the heart palpitations and diabetes. Please talk to your doctor, before you change your eating habits. BTW: We see a ton of stupid adults leave posts on here....it is obvious by structure of your question that you have talent. Maybe you should look into a journalism career....just a thought.

Weight loss tips am i over weight? -

I m ten 5 foot 3 125 pounds am I over weight or is it just a stage

You are not overweight. I m 18, 5 3 weigh 130 pounds. However; If you notice an increase in your weight (more than 15-20 pounds) over the next year, without an increase in your height, you should ask your pediatrician for advice. :)

That is a good weight for your height. No worries. If you want to stop weight gain, cut back on how many carbs you eat.

dude you are fine! im the same height and same weight and perfectly skinny! people are just build more compact sometimes! dont worry bout it at alllllll if your 5 3 then its a good weight!

Actually for your heigth 125lbs is average or normal .

That s in the healthy weight range for your height.

Weight loss tips? Anything will help!! ? -

Hey,My mum just began on a diet a month or two ago and shes lost 11kgs.She begins the day by eating a small portion of bran flakes. High in fibre to keep you going throughout the day, rather than toast with sweet toppings and cereal with sugar. This only releases your energy super fast and makes your more hungrier earlier.Lunch times she tries to eat some fruits or a salad sandwich. Remember just tiny portions.Dinner is always whatever we are eating but again, a smaller portion. When she in hungry in the day, she may have a snack of two vita-wheat crackers with a slice of cheese in the middle. This gives you energy for HOURS.My mum had a calcium deficiency problem and had begun on higher strength calcium pills when she started her diet.It had been proved that people with regular healthy rates of calcium are less hungry and find it easier to lose weight, sompared to those with less calcium in their system. Also, you need to try walking as much as you can. Its not about pumping so hard at the gym, or running for hours, just buy a pedometer (step counter)They fit on your waistband and you forget they are there. The average person needs something like 7000steps a day to maintain their wieght, and 10,000 to lose wieght. Its a great insentive to get up and get moving more throughout the day,Its not really a hard task to complete 10,000 steps a day. I catch a bus to and fromm school and sit and do my hoomework for the rest of the night and i manage to do it easy.I hope ive given you some ideas to work on!Good luck,Kelsey.

When you are eating, always pay attention to the slightest feeling of fullness, then stop when you feel it. Get used to do this and soon you wont need to try and lose weight because your body will find it s natural set point. Also, always make it a habit to not feel guilty for eating something fattening, because guilt causes the body to retain more weight than what you have eaten would cause without the guilt. Guilt tends to cause a person to feel more depressed which then causes the person to eat more trying to find a way to feel better. Its a vicious cycle. It s better just to let go of the fact that you ate something not that great for you and go on and eat normally after that. It s not really about what you eat as much as it is about what you don t eat. Try to throw in nutritious foods as often as possible and remember to close the gate at the moment you feel that feeling in your tummy which says that s enough for now. Oh...and try to do something physically extra that raises your heart rate a bit more each day...that will make you feel each day as if you accomplished something good for yourself and the metabolism will respond favorably naturally.

an old answer is healthy foods. I seem to have the best luck eating just fruits for one of my meals. Another way my mom had luck with weight loss was eating low salt/butter popcorn and a glass of slim fast for supper. The popcorn was filling, and good :) and the slim fast provided vitamins and milk. Of course you should eat a good lunch then. Don t eat too late in the day either then go to bed.

Eat a well-balanced diet. for exercises run, dance, walk, jump rope for arobics, sit ups, crunches, push ups, lunges, planks for strength. and stretches for warm ups and cool down. do some from every catagory. This is what I do a few times a week and I already feel better. It may take a while to see big results though. Dont turn to pills. theyll help for a while but youll gain the weight back later

100 situps and pushups before bed and when you wake up.:)
