How to lose weight on your thighs? -

You know we all have it. I hate it when I m in a skirt or a bathing suit and start running and my thighs go *jiggle, jiggle*. How to lose the excess weight? It looks disgusting too. *chills*

squat jumps.

you cant just spot reduce. just due the common Sense stuff.

Targetted weight loss is quite hard, some would say impossible, however the one thing which clearly delivered for me was green tea, it can be viewed in the resource box underneath, they have a small number of free trials left, it has been highlighted in Fox News and CNN. I worked off 20 pounds, it clearly does produce results!

How to lose weight in 10 days? -

Hi guys.Do you all have any good tips to lose some inches/pounds in 10 days?? I am getting married in 10 days! and wanna look beautiful in my dress.

hi :) am not sure whats available in the markets...but, this is what i did to lose weight... PLEASE DONT TAKE PILLS... pills are nothing but anorectic agents... they make you feel less hungry... there is no way to loose weight fast... though , sauna , steam and massages help slightly... it has to be combined with diet and excercise... pills are very bad in the long run... can lead to impotency and infertility...i lost 10 kgs in about 5 months time... i am getting married in august and i desperately needed to loose weight... i was 65 kilos when i started... according to my BMI , i was 10kgs + overweight... i stand 5 2.odd and 65 kilos is grossly overweight...just dieting wont help like i found out in my case... diet + exercise will do the trick...i ll tell you what i did... it worked for me... hope it works for you too :)the trick is not to starve but to eat smart :) and stay healthy :)what you should cut down :oil , butter , cheese , margarine , mayonisse , sauces (depends , will get back to that a bit later), chips , crisps, nuts , chocolates , sugar , cola, fizz , areated drinks ,ice creams , chocolate , alcohol , cakes and everything else thats hi - cal... you ll need to avoid everything thats sweet , oily and sticky... if you are not sure about what foods to avoid... check the net...loads of info available...vegetables / meat to avoid :potatoes - very very important , beetroot (its a root and has concenterated sugar in it) , all kinds of roots basically except carrot... avoid lamb, mutton , pork , beef, and prawns... all these put on weight... eat only lean meats... thats fish and chicken.. avoid eating egg yolk... eat just the egg white...fruits to avoid :mangoes , bananas , jackfruitnow that we had a look at what foodstuff is to be avoided...you might be wondering if there is anythig at all that you can eat... thats how i felt... there is loads of stuff you can eat actually :)here they come :)fast foods are a big no no... you can order salads and special lo cal foods that are avaailable in most outlets...its best to eat at home for the period you are dieting and trying to lose weight...after those few months... once you ve shed your load...you can get back to your usual lifestyle... of course with some caution...my diet...breakfast:skimmed milk (use skimmmed milk , is low in fat , other typer of milk are higher in fat content) , fruit... i am from India... am not sure where you are from and hence you might not understand certain food types we consume here... but let me tell you something... Indian food is very very oily and very difficult to diet...and try cereal in the mornings... oats, weetabix... etc... have a good breakfast...alwaays use brown bread... whole wheat brown bread is very good for weight reduction...for lunch , we are staple rice eaters... rice is bad for fat reduction... but i still took rice because its a habit tht cant be changed... everyone takes rice here... so... rice - one cup - 100gms and lots of veggies cooked in less oil.. and absolutely no coconut and curry with less oil... all in all keep your oil intake to 2 tea spoons everyday... that would be just for seasoning... also using olive oil helps a lot...then for dinner... compulsarily have wheat... pasta is a good option...but make sure you buy wheat pasta... check before buying... and of course in pasta absolutely no sauces... some varities of sauces are acceptable... as far as they dont have cheese , butter , oil ,mayonisse and fattening substances in general... you can use tomato spicy sauces etc... make sure your sugar intake doesnt cross 2 - 3 spoons per day... (not tablespoons) and no butter and ghee of course... eat a lot of fruits and vegetables... and all kinds of cereal... if you are hungry... eat a fruit... or you can eat stuff like puffed wheat and puffed rice... but no puffed corn... corn products again put on weight...eat sandwiches as much as possible... i dont know which part of the world you are from and hence cant suggest much for you in terms of recepies...and combined with dieting... you need to excercise for atleast an hour everyday... you ll see the difference...defenitely... if you think gym is boring... take up dance classes... or run along the beach... if you have one... or skate... or just about any physical activity... brisk walking will also help...the key is to stay healthy while you diet and lose weight...drink loads of water...atleast 6 glasses per day... and do a lot of physical activity.... take the stairwy instead of the lift.... and small things like that...if you have any more queries...mail me... cheers :) and good luck :) its not difficult...you ll get used to it in a few days... and of course the results are fab:) who doesnt want a great looking body...you can get back to your normal lifestyle once you slim down... after that... its just eating what you like and burning it out the next day with just a little bit of excercise :) also check your weight everyday... its a great way to motivate and monitor your progres :)Source(s):personal exp :)

HELP ME MARINES OR SOLDIERS! need good advise!? -

so here it goes need to loose 20lbs asap THEN i can enlist with the MARINES 35lbs and i can go ARMY DONT! need advise on what branch just weight loss tips ive lost 30lbs so far and ive just blown myself out on running and dieting i need a new healthy and actualy FUN approach while shaping up for the Military at the same time thanks alot guys and gals

You don t need advise. You need advice. And my advice is to study English before you join either one.

Hiit is your friend. I went from 155 to 129 in 2-3 months. I also was pretty much only eating baked or grilled stuff and cottage cheese with pineapples.

your first sentence confused the hell out of me. are you saying you dont need advice on what branch to join just weight loss tips? Are you going marines or army? Army is definatly more leniant as far as weight goes, especially if you are reserve or national guard, but that is only after you are already in. Just keep running and running. Dont depend on dieting, it can only do so much. Dont starve yourself, just dont eat any fast food or stuff like that. Just the basics dude, vegatables and excersise.

How to lose weight but gain muscle fast? -

I m 14 and weigh about 175 pounds and want to lose weight and gain muscle fast. How can I do this?

175 pounds is good for your height and age! I am 15 years old, 5 9 and in February of this year I weighed 123 pounds. I now weigh a fantastic 142 pounds. I gained this through exercising and eating right basically.I would kill to be your height and weight. I have a naturally skinny build and an annoying high metabolism. If I were you I would exercise a lot to try and build muscle from that 175 pounds. You re only 14 and it d be a great start if you started exercising heaps right now. Lift weights, do running for 30 minutes everyday, do whatever it takes. I know for a fact that in 12 months if you exercise and eat well you will not be fat. You will be muscular, fit and full of energy.

You can t gain muscle fast and your weight is good for 6 1 . Start a weight training routine, some cardio exercise and eat heathy.

How to lose weight consistently by summer? -

I am 19, 5 ft.3in. and weigh about 115 pounds. I have a minor gut, and i want to look toned for a summer vacation. I dont want to go on a strict diet, i just want an at home workout plan along with running and biking. any suggestions?

You really don t need to lose weight. There are many sensible things you can do that will make a tremendous difference over the long term though to your health and fitness. It can be done in a healthy way. This is what has worked for me.Keeping a food journal really does help. It will give you a much better sense of how much you are eating, and when, and why.Make a few additional small changes - walk everywhere, always use stairs instead of elevators, walk on escalators, get up and move around at least once an hour if your work or your life in general is sedentary, walk every day, use a pedometer. Walking 10,000 steps a day is a really good idea. Build up to a long brisk walk everyday, or most days. Be more active and watch less TV and spend less time on the computer. Buy one piece of exercise equipment to have at home and be strict with yourself about using it. Sometimes you can find mini-steppers or exercise bikes at second hand stores and thrift stores for just a few dollars.Start a weight lifting routine. Join a gym. Possibly you can find one that has someone who specializes in weight lifting programs for beginners. Weight lifting will increase your metabolism as well as improve posture and appearance overall. Even if you can t get to the gym you can work out at home using things around the house. Invest in a good weight training book. The Dummies series actually has a good one. In terms of diet, cut out or reduce things like junk food, pop, fat, fast food. Eat more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meat, fish. Particularly if you choose a vegetarian lifestyle include natural peanut butter, hummus, dried fruit and nuts. Pay close attention to getting the nutrients your body needs to be healthy. Make your portion sizes smaller. Use a smaller plate - in our society we have become accustomed to thinking that we need a large plate of food at every meal, and we don t. About quarter of your plate of food should be protein and at least half of it should be veggies. Learn to count calories. At your current weight and activity level, you may possibly need about 2000 calories or more to maintain your current weight. So you will lose weight at a reasonable and healthy rate if you cut back to about 1600 or 1700 calories a day. Eat small amounts frequently, rather than three large meals. Never skip breakfast. Include some protein in your breakfast. It will help get you through the day.Drink plenty of water, at least 8 big glasses of water a day, and more if it is very hot, if you sweat a lot, or if you are exercising intensely, and eliminate fruit juices. Fruit juices have too many calories, so get your vitamins from fresh fruit, not the juice. You will begin to see changes in your body. Well, I ve lost 2 pounds this week. All I do is eat healthy andexercise. For breakfast, I eat egg-in-a-basket, toast, cottage cheese, oatmeal, cereal, or fruit. I eat about 300 calories for breakfast. For lunch, I buy from school, so I eat the healthiest thing there which is a chicken ceasar salad, but of course I eat it without the dressing. That s around 500 claories I m guessing? Since it has bread, chicken, and cheese in there. But I don t feel guilty because I have to have all food groups. After school, about 4 hours after lunch, I eat a kiwi/apple/banana, or some other fruits. EAt those in moderation too because each has around 100 calories. For dinner, I have whatever my mom makes in moderation. Today, she made soup with pickles, potatoes, and grain (yes, weird, but it was good), so I ate it and it was around 300 calories i m guessing. I also drink about 6 glasses of water a day, and run 1 1/2 miles, do 50 crunches, and 100 jumping jacks. Also, I don t eat any sweets at all. I hate soda, so that isn t a problem. Even diet soda might slow down your metabolism, so just drin kwater. And even the fruit juices aren t too healthy since they aren t all made form real oranges and contain sugar.

In response to Nessies answer--- wow. low fat diets suck.I ate prime rib for dinner with asparagus, broiled with strawberries in sugar free whipped cream for dessert. My breakfast was an omelet and my lunch was bbqed chicken and a salad...WITH dressing. Try a low carb diet. You will lose QUICKLY. I would suggest atkins.

HelloFirst, I understand where you re coming from. Here s what I found out after lots of research and trial and error, the hard way.The reality is that there are no shortcuts or easy ways to get in good shape. Sorry, but someone needed to tell you this.As long as you get conscious about what you are doing, you will see the results. Below you will find the four principles that you need to keep in mind in your weight-loss journey.http://topsecreteverloss.blogspot.com/ 1.Forget About DietsPeople that go from diet to diet never reach a stable weight, let alone a good shape. The reason is quite simple: diets are, by their very nature, temporary. You cant expect to eat properly for two or three weeks and fix your weight problems for the rest of the year.2.Proper NutritionIf you want to keep your weight and fat percentage under control, you will need to learn the basics of nutrition. Once you learn them, you will be able to eat healthy throughout the year.3.Physical ExerciseEating healthy and having a caloric deficit will only take you half the way. The other key factor is physical exercise.4.Discipline and PerseveranceYou can start eating healthy and exercising properly, but unless you stick doing it regularly, the results wont appear (if they do, they wont last).Discipline and perseverance are key here.If you want to Lose Weight ,I can recommend you to check outhttp://topsecreteverloss.blogspot.com/ .It is a great program that helped me.

That depends on your current weight and the activity you are doing. It boils down to math.? Calories burned translates to weight lost.? But it also has alot to do with where the energy comes from.? Stored energy in the form of fat or energy stores in the blood (glucose, etc)

I always find running the best fitness workout, I would recommend running for about 1 hour non stop each day =] ,

How to lose weight/be healthy w/out fruits/vegetables? -

i have what doctors call a little bit of a weight problem. What can I do to be healthy and in shape? Just for the record i do not eat fruits or vegetables unless you count forms of potatos and orange juice. Help with my problem would be greatly appreciated.

You can try The Master Cleanser or AKA The Lemonade Diet . I tried it once and lost 20+lbs. See its really a detox, but at the same time when detoxing you lose weight right along plus rid your body of toxins and whatever they are putting in food these days. Its a 10-12 day diet, some folks go longer. I did 10days, you loose like 2-3 lbs a day.You can follow the link to the website and research it for yourself. you may purchase the kit from them or supplies, but you can easily get them from The Whole Foods Market.Good Luck, BAPS

you might lose weight without eating fruits and vegetables, but you will NOT be healthy. try fruits and veggies again, use different recipes. i have know a lot of people who hate spinach, and it seems that its not that they hate it, its that its never been cooked/ prepared properly!if you like potatoes (i know i couldn t live without them) try switching one or all of the potatoes in a recipe with a sweet potato. they have more nutrients, and add some fancy color too! try different juices too. V8 fusion has an acai mixed berry that is magically delicious. acai is very good for you, and if its too overpowering on its own, cut it with a little orange juice. i mix it with apple juice for my son, who is 2 and he loves it!you have to figure out why you do not eat fruits and veggies. do not is a choice you are making to hurt your health. i have a friend who can not eat most fruits and veggies, because he is allergic to so many of them. his is not a choice.fruits and veggies are important, not only nutritionally, but physiologically as well. your body needs the roughage that they provide, needs to make the effort to digest those foods. just try to figure out why you don t eat them, and then try them again, with a new recipe or spice, and repeat. i used to hate onions, and especially fishy foods. if it swam, i would not eat it! i have tried (and not died from) eating salmon, crab, clams, and scallops. i am 23.the help you seek for your problem is in the reason you have the problem, eat your veggies! be healthy!when i was little i always ate my veggies first, so i could get to the meat and potatoes. try that, it might help you choke the veggies down, and you ll be much healthier for it.

Quit eating fried foods and quit eating at fast food places unless you can control yourself and order only the burger or chicken sandwich with no fries and a water or fries and no burger with a water. Exercise. Learn how many calories are in everything. Almost all restraunts post nutrition info on the internet. Make sure you take your vitamins. Drink water instead of soda. Get a forman grill, they are great for eating healthy meat with no fat. Watch your portion sizes and realize what a real portion actually looks like.

Start eating them!!!!!!!!!!!, honestly, if you just push yourself to do the obvious healthy things, you will be rewaraded, I ve been there and started eating more healthyier and lost 20 pounds. I excercise everyday 45 mins of cardio and on the days I dont feel like doing it, I would do 20 mins.Drink lots of water, thts the first thing you should do when you wake up before eating anything. The more you push yourself the better you will feel. Put some effort in everything you do there are no short cuts!!!!!

I would do a bit of walking each day, Lots of water or add milled Flax seed to the food you do eat..Has lots of fiber, has Omega 3..Helps diabetics with lower blood sugar levels.Helps drop bad cholesterol. Talk to Dr. before taking, as this acts as a blood thinner can not be taken with aspirin. You could also consider juicing your fruits and vegetables. This tastes really good and the recipe mixtures are endless..Good Luck..Edit: should have known a question asking troll!!

just get out and walk everyday. you dont need to run! but just walking for atleast 20 mins your own pase everyday should help.drinking bottle of water everyday helps alot to!if you drink atleast 2 a day, within a month you ll loose 5lbs!try to alliminate breads and if you eat pasta, try whole weat!and try to get rid of soda if you drink it alot.if you cant find that you cant get rid of it.. limit it to one a day.

I don t eat fruits or vegetibles either Exercise alot, eat lots of meat and don t over eat the bad stuff

if you don t eat fruits and vegetables, you could do with running, which will greatly reduce your weight. also you would need to cut down on oily food intakes

well...you can forget about being healthy....

Can t do it, sorry.

eat meat you will lose

Weight Loss Tips? -

Hey, I am an 18 year old male and am 6 5 and 260 LBS. Im still growing and might end up around 6 7. I dont look fat, I just look like a big kid. Im trying to lose some weight over the next few months. How much should I loose and what should I do to get quick results. Im a very picky eater and my diet consists of bagels, chips, pizza and pasta. Dont like a lot of foods. Hate stuff like eggs and salad. Dont really like meat unless its chicken breast. I have tried dieting before but I get bored easily and stop the diet all together. Diet pills worked but I stopped because my heart was coming trhough my chest. Any good excerise routines anyone knows of that work well too? Thanks a lot in advance.

Here are some of the most effective weight loss tips to help you get (or stay) on track to a healthier, better-looking body:1.Drink ice water. The simplest of the weight loss tips, it helps body burns up to 40 calories just by turning up its metabolism in order to warm the water.2.Have an early dinner so that you have an hour or two to take a short walk after dinner. In between meals, when you feel like eating something, reach out for a glass of water that will make you feel fuller soon.3.One of the effective weight loss tips is while cooking, lower the heat so that you can use less oil. Cut down on the use of hot, spicy foods. In fact, it would be much wiser to eliminate them from your diet. For more effective tips on reducing weight, you can read abt them here: http://weight-loss.best-health-remedy.co

Last January I started a diet that worked wonders for me. I did the Total cereal diet. I had a bowl of Total w/skim milk for breakfast and lunch. Then I had a normal dinner, the key was I ate early(around 5:30) and never ate anything past 8pm. I cut out soda and drank alot of water. The pounds came flying off. Yes, I was very hungry in the beginning, but my reward was my dinner. The first couple weeks I was losing 3-4 pounds a week. Then it slowed down after I hit 20 pounds. I then had to introduce exercising. I jogged probably twice a week. All together I lost 53 pounds and have kept it off. It can work. You just need a lot of willpower! Best of luck to you!!!
