Any ideas on How to lose weight? -

Cut back on sugars and carbohydrates, don t cut them out unless you have a condition where you need to cut them out. Drink plenty of water for your 1/2 your body weight in ounces (see link below). Walk/exercise 30 to 60 minutes every other day at least. The second link I provide should be helpful. I went to a nutrition seminar recently and here are the tips the doctor suggested for weight loss.1)Exercise today will burn fat tomorrow night if no sugar is eaten after 1 pm. 2)Russian athletes eat no carbs after 1 pm. 3)The body repairs tissue when no sugar is in the system. 4)Eat sugar/fruit early in the day. I have just cut back on carbs and sugar and walk, and can lose 2 lbs a week.; although, this will vary from person to person.

Balance the amount of calories you consume a day with theamount of exercise you do. It s called dieting and sweat. Don t be afraid of them. Embrace them!

Weight loss is not a fast thing, if you are shedding pounds like crazy, those pounds will be back with interest. The reason is because most of the time the weight you are losing is not fat. It is muscle. When you lose muscle, you lose the one thing that gets your metabolism up and going, and that means... fat. Leave the pills alone.There are a lot of sites out there to visit that can give you more information (that way I don t write you a book here, lol). Just know that it takes time and effort. Just DON T EVER GIVE UP. If you do it the right way the first time, you won t be doing it again and again.

i am a 15 years old and i am overweight. i hate it i dont have money to use for diet pills or a steady diet like weight watchers or for a gym membership i am a male. i ve thought about losing weight for the last 2 weeks but i dont have any motavation to do this and a lot of the time i dont remeber i am in school and in band which takes up a lot of time and when i am not there a lot of times i am in church or some other activity and i dont think about eating right or excerizing please help me what should i do?!! _

Well run/jog in place for about 30 minutes a day. and take breaks. eat LOTS of fruits and maybe salad. Drink lots of water.try skipping a meal. like dinner. eat a BIG lunch/breakfast so you don t get hungry. welllll you have to avoid eating unhealthy fooods. try eating no junk food for a week or so and eat healthy foods.keepy checking your weight now and then and make sure you atleast lose one pound every day or something..come on, you can do it!don t make any excuses about not having any time.just jogging in place would make a difference.:]]

It sounds like you are socially active which is a very good start. First make a goal for yourself. Then maybe you can find someone in your group that exercises and ask if they can take you under their wing. Having a buddy will help motivate you and you can motivate them as well. Or maybe you can bring up your dilemma at church or school with friends and family then the people who love and care for and about you the most can hold you accountable and motivate you to reach your goals. Maybe this will work for you. Eat what you like. Just keep it to 1200 calories a day, (healthier is better obviously), and sweat and I mean SWEAT!! for 30-40 minutes a day 6-7 days a week. Walk, jog, swim, bike whatever. Remember the more you sweat the more you can add to your eating plan. Write down everything you eat with calorie content. This will give you an overall look at where you need to make changes. Don t cheat, you re only fooling yourself and don t skip workouts. Now here s the worst kept secret of losing weight. Don t eat after 6 pm. It s like a mini fast for your body and what better time to be hungry than when you re asleep? But you do have to lose weight overall. You can do bicep exercises I guess to tone and tighten your upper arms. It will also turn some of that fat into muscle. Try doing a bunch of bicep curls and any other exercise that works the arms. Don t expect to see significant changes in 2.5 weeks.

It s not what you want to hear, but when you lose weight, you lose it overall. If you only exercise your arms, they will only gain more muscle.It is also a bad idea to try to lose weight quickly. You can really do harm if you overexert yourself. Take things gradually! There is no secret method to losing weight; the best way is good old fashioned diet and exercise. Good luck!

Lift medium/heavy things up around your house. That s what I do and it does work over time. Dieting can help too. It doesn t have to be this super strict diet either. The main way to loose weight is too stop eating 2 hours before you go to bed.

dont eat, or eat under 500 calories a day, it works rly good for things like two weeks and stuff, but when you start eating regularly you gain weight again, then you have to stop eating again, its a cycle lol

it is impossible to lose weight specifically from a particular area on your body, BUT you can tone the fat off of your arms by exercising them. weights, push ups, etc.

You are eating very healthy and you are not working out too much... I ve read that it is healthy to lose no more than 1-3 pounds per week, otherwise you will harm your body.Other than getting a colonic to clean your system out, there s really no better way than what you are doing to lose weight.Also remember, muscle weighs more than fat, and it sounds like you may be gaining muscle weight, which is good weight!

My mom is about 5 6-5 7-she is about that weight she varies between 120-130 lbs. and I think maybe 10 lbs. but that s a good plan and check your weight on a home scale daily. Don t try to lose too much. I m sure that plan will work fine!! Good luck! =)
