If you cute out 1280 calories a day would you lose weight fast? -

that would depend. if you started out at 2560 calories a day with cardio then yes. if you started out at 1400 then no.

Probably... It depends on how much you started with. You should eat between 2,000 and 3,000 a day, at least the average person does. I d go to a doctor if you have weight loss questions.With the little I eat, I d die if I cut out that much!

depends on how much your still taking in....after you fall under a certain number of calories it becomes extremely unhealthy and catabolic so your body uses its muscle as energy instead of fat

well of course, but you have to take into effect how many calories you ARE eating. you shouldnt eat less than 1200 a day, or your body will go into starvation mode and no longer burn fat. it will turn to burning muscle and eventually internal organs will break down so that your body is getting the energy you need. and then as soon as you start eating again, you body will go into shock and hold on to every ounce of fat and calorie you put into it because it thinks it needs to hold on to it all because you are going to starve it again (think hibernation - it HAS to hold on to it all to make it thru the fast!).but, if you were eating like 3000+ calories a day, then cutting that much will be hard, but it wont be killing yourself. and also, you need to consider how much you exercise. if you exercise a lot, then you need to eat more so that you have the energy to do anything. go to sparkpeople.comits a great 100% free website that will help you lose weight at a healthy pace (no more than 2 lbs a week, more is putting WAY too much stress on your body if you do it over a longer period of time, i m not saying that initially you might not lose a larger chuck, but thats going to be water weight).when i first started on the site, i was eatting about 2500-3000 calories a day. i cut it down to the range i was given by spark to reach my goal weight by a specified date (i gave it my goals, it figured it out for me). i was told to eat between 1250-1550 calories a day. i was also supposed to exercise at least 5 minutes a day to burn 26 calories, but i m lazy and i didnt do that part. but i also cut out soda and just drank water and in 4 days i lost 5lbs just from that (the water). with my continued diet plan i lost 20lbs in about 6 months (and that was without exercising, it could have been done in about 3.5-4 if i had done my exercising).now i m in maintenence mode (as the site calls it) and to maintain my current weight, i am now eating between 1400-1800 calories a day (which seems like SOOOO much more food now!)

Yeah you will, but you ll be low on energy if you do. You can cut the calories, but also remember to exercise, and eat right.

You need to exercise too....and stay away from carbs...especially at night but to keep it out you HAVE to exercise. Even if it s just 15 min a day of good cardio

I would recommend MORE than just 10 crunches, because that wont really help. I would do 12 strait up, 12 across the body to the left, 12 across the body to the right, and repeat again. Rather then jogging, get a friend and walk for an hour and talk at the same time. It really helped my parents lose weight, but they didn t do the sit-ups so that should really help.

as well as that, try,10 girly push-ups (from the knees) 50 wall touches (jump and touch as high as you can)30 seconds of lying on the floor with feet 6 inches in the air always, always always stretch!!!!

Go for at least 1500 cal. a day, but honestly, it is not how much you eat it is what you eat.

I just lost 20 pounds this month by limiting my carb intake to 20 grams a day. So I have a protein shake for bfeast/snak on veggies like cucumber/ranch and celery/cream cheese in the AM and PM and make a beef/taco salad or good grilled chicken salad for lunch and eat grilled chick/asparagus or beef/zuchinni for dinner. I still have a beer or 2 at night, but I drink lots of water. Keep in mind I did this 4 years ago witht he same results and at that time (4 years ago) I quit soda, sugar, fastfood, coffee and to this day I still do not eat that stuff. You also have to gradually introduce carbs back in - like 5 carbs extra per week. Eventually that diet led me to a healtier lifestyle change and it took 4 years to gain 20 pounds back, so now I am back on. It was more of a lifestyle change, but literally dropping a pound a day is very motivating.

In the past I lost over 50 lbs. by doing Billy Blank s Tae Bo and following a sensible meal plan. I eat a healthy breakfast, lunch, and dinner with fruits and veggies in between. My clothes began falling off me. I couldn t believe I was so slim. If you have difficulty doing Tae Bo then just stick to a walking plan of 30 min. at least 4-5 days a week. well, im not sure how you could lose it that fast how you want but let me tell u an easy way. eat whatever you want but half it. and just walk or jog for at last 30 minutes girl it works. but ok not whatever you want but most of whatever you want. u no whats good and bad rite.

Exercise: Lots of Cardio (Running, swimming, fast dancing, ect.)Diet: Don t eat/drink Splenda/Diet drinks. Also try avoid High Fructose Corn Syrup. Just try to avoid chemicals and Heavily processed foods. Also Eat smaller meal portions, more often.
