I cant loose any weight!! Rarrr! lol? -

Ok, I am 22, 5 4 and about 140 lbs. I don t need to lose an extreme amount of weight. But every time I get on a weight loss kick , I stick with a diet and a a work out routine for a few weeks, lose only a few pounds (literally) and then I get discouraged and stop with the whole thing. I need help with motivation, and possibly try some other weight loss program. I don t want to spend a ton of money, I just want to tone up and be comfortable in my own skin. Please help!!!

i like to reward myself for certain goals...i set an obtainable goal 20lbs...a certain amount of days in a row...etc. then once i reach that goal i reward myself and then set a new goal!! keeps things interesting and i get something good!!try pilates!! works great!!! beginning mat workout!!

That sounds good. I like pilates a lot. Report Abuse

the best way to keep motivation up is to work with a group. Agree to exercise 3 times a week together, that way if you feel like skipping out, you can t because the other is depending on you. You can also set goals for yourself. When you reach a goal, reward yourself. Don t indulge in food, but maybe treat yourself to a day at the spa, or buy a dvd that you have been dying to get.

it sounds like in your case an actual diet is not the best thing to do, because you get easily discouraged. Try to reshape your eating habits so that you are eating good food, but are eating the right foods. Lots of water, fruits, and vegetables are obviously crucial. in addition, try to eat a lot of protien like fish, chicken, or meat.

Just choose low calorie foods. To choose low calorie food is by following healthy nutrition. That is the right and balance eating habit. Good carbs, good protein and good fat. If you follow the correct healthy menu for you daily meals then you will lose your extra weight naturally without hunger. You still can enjoy the good tasty food while enjoy your comfortable healthy lifestyle.

One thing that will help you lose weight: a colon cleanse. I was one of those who did not believe in them until I tried it. And I tried a few until I found a great one that works (its all natural too! - it s just pills, but you ll detox, lose weight, and fell much, much better). You can go to http://easy-fit.us and order you free trial, also you only pay $4.95 shipping and handling. Good luck!

Is this healthy weight loss?? -

so i am a 14 year old girl and i am 5 6 and was 146 lbs. seven weeks ago on saturday i started a diet where I basically have an apple and cup of fat free milk for breakfast. then grilled chicken salad with water for lunch. an bannanana after school and then another chicken salad for dinner with an all natural fruit popsicle afterwards. i also run a mile twice a week. this has been working pretty well and i lost 28 lbs or so. i am now 118. but then i read that i might be losing it too fast and i am scared because i wanted to lose the weight healthly.

no....I m tring this diet thanks!!!!!!..SEVEN WEEKS !!!WOW

I want to lose 16 lbs in one month? -

First off, don t tell me the healthy weight loss per week is 1 to 2 lbs. That s not what I m asking you for. I want to lose 16lbs in a month. I m 14, 5ft, and 131lbs. Losing weight it pretty easy for me. I can easily not change my eating habits and just work out for 30min five times a week and lose 4lbs a week. But I want to change the way I eat this time. That part is what s going to be hard for me. Would this be okay?:breakfast - apple (60 calories)lunch - half ham sandwich (around 120 to 150 calories)dinner - a slim fast (190 calories)workout - treadmill for 30min (burns 250 calories)

I think 16 pounds is possible (maybe it ll be a little hard since your not very heavy). Your meal plan sounds fine but I m thinking you ll need something more energizing for breakfast...maybe oatmeal or some kind of special K bar. I agree that slim fast for dinner doesn t sound too great...why don t you go for veggies and grilled chicken or something? I don t know, its up to you. Good luck!

For a teenager, you need to eat at least 1800 calories a day so that your body stays out of stavation mode and gets all the energy and nutrients it needs. (Teenagers need to eat a lot more than adults, even when trying to lose weight, as they are growing and developing). Why are you so desperate to lose so much so quick? By exercising and eating right, you will become more toned, and lose weight safely, surely your weight isn t worth your health?

Don t eat a ham sandwich if you want to lose weight. Vegetable or bean soup with a side salad for lunch would be good. Or hummus and pita with a side salad, or dipping carrots and broccoli into hummus would be much more nutritious than a pig sandwich. If you want sustained energy have nuts with your apple in the morning. Once you ve adopted healthy eating habits, you will be able to maintain a lower weight.Good luck!

you should eat more then that in 1 day. That is unhealthy you should get about 1200 calories in your body a day. It gives you energy and speeds up your metabolism. Just eat normally! Just cut out the sodas, sweet drinks, junk foods like chips, pasteries, ice cream.Eat fruits, make yourself a parfait those are good and heathy. Put some yogurt at the bottom the chopped fruit, some more yogurt a sprinkle of granola bits and a bit of whip cream to give it a sweet touch.

im not sure thats possible unless you do surgery or take pills.

thats not really that healthy but ya if you want to go ahead.

that d be really hard to do that even if you didnt eat for the whole month

You can lose weight Naturally Now!www.biohealthpro.awarenesslife.com

you should eat more, thats really unhealthy

you gotta get at least 1200 calories a day or you will lose muscle, not fat

Anyone have any opinions good or bad about Curves for Women? -

I am interested in joining Curves for Women Gym. I have heard and read a few good things about their 6 week Weight Loss program or it may be called the 6 week Challenge Program. Anyone a member there or was a member have any incite on this gym? Prices-contract length s-can you go to all or just 1 of the locations? Details good and bad please. =)

I looked into Curves a few years back. It seemed like a great place. They will let you do a 30 minute workout at no charge if you like. I found that the machines are built for the female body and they are difficult and work well. The only downside I found was that the hours were not that great and there were no showers. In other words, I could not go before work because I had nowhere to get cleaned up.

I joined Oct.30 and didn t really go too often but i lose 10 pounds from the time i signed up till now. I m now going 3 times a week and hoping to lose more. I think it s a great start for women who don t have the time for reg. gyms or haven t worked out in awhile. Report Abuse
