I am trying to lose weight due to my birthday coming up and I am going to Vegas. I was on antidepressants (due to sleep problems) and gained 15 really fast. How do I lose my stomach and gain some abs in the next six weeks? I changed my eating habits and exercise what am I doing wrong? Should I detox?

Try cardio of course. That will help with overall fat loss. Eat low carb with lots of protein and veggies. No soda. That will help with the belly fat. Crunches and any ab exercises u can think of or find. You should lose tons of belly fat in weeks. Not to mention the vegas heat will help you sweat about 10 pounds lol I live in vegas (off and on for 10 yrs) so trust me I know lol hope this helps

Believe me, losing weight fast is not always the best option.The first thing that caught my eye is that you said you are considering eating very little. Did you know that if you don t eat atleast 1,200 calories per day, your body will NOT burn fat, but instead store it because it s not getting enough calories, fat, and nutrients? Try eating three decent sized, healthy meals or 6 small meals per day, adding up to 1,200 calories. Make sure to watch your fat, sugar, and sodium!Also, the best work out option for LOSING weight is cardio: Elliptical, exercise bike, jogging, etc. Lifting weights will not cause you to lose weight, but gain weight as you re building muscle instead of burning fat. I would try going doing atleast 45 minutes of cardio per day. With a 1,200 calorie diet and everyday workout, you could probably lose up to 5 pounds per week, having done it the correct way. I agree with sxcb but up to a point. You will lose body fat by lifting weight and thereby create a strong and shapely body. Muscle weighs more than fat so you may not seem any weight loss at all. Instead, focus on how your clothes are fitting. Waistband getting looser? Legs have a bit more room in pantlegs? Those kind of things will tell you how you are progressing. Stay off the scale, or at least only once a week. Losing weight fast is not a good idea. Try for 2 lbs. per week and be healthy. It will be easier to keep the weight off if you modify behavior with food and develope good exercise habits. Do you want to look different quickly for a time or differently for life?

Keep at least 2-3 hours between your last meal and bedtime.Also, increase your intake of water. Yes your goal is way to low. You seem like a healthy weight already but think about toning yourself and getting fit instead of losing weight. Running,crunches,sit-ups,push-ups, just do the basics

Excess calories is what leads to weight loss.. When you eat more calories than you body needs in a day you it is stored in fat cells... Meat dosen t help... It s caloriesThe email....Your body needs different nutrients(proteins, vitamins, minerals, etc) to survive. Each one does something in your bodyThere are 3 major nutrients.. These are called macro-nutrients(macro = bigger) and they are the ones that contain calories1 gram of carbohydrates = 4 calories1 gram of protein = 4 calories1 gram of fat = 9 caloriesMicro-Nutrients(micro = smaller) which are vitamins and minerals do not contain calories.Ok now I know you don t care about this stuff... But I just wanted to show you were the total calories per a serving are coming from when you look at a box of food.Now to weight loss... Ok do you have your BMR? okay, yes dropping meat will help but the biggest part is exercise. you ned to burn those calories. as for the dropping of the meat, it will help. without meat your fat intake will drop significantly so you wont get fat, obviously. also, eat healthy carbs, your body burns carbs easily so eat them.i could go into more detailed but too tired. if you need more help just email.

depends on the amount of meat and the type of meat that you already eat. but unless you re like crazy on burgers or something like that, it wont really do much of a difference.limiting breads would probably be more effective - also cutting snacks from in between meals is very effectivebut also you need to exercise and balance pretty much all your meals
