Can someone help me with some tips ? -

i need weight loss tipsi m exersizing 5 days a week 2 hrs a weekbut i feel like i need to do morecan someone please give me weight loss tips ?thanks :)

How can you be exercising 5x/week but only 2 hours/week? You should be strength training for 45 minutes at least 3x/week and doing interval training 2x/week (sprint for 1 minute and rest for 2 minutes for a total of 20 minutes). Eat lean protein (chicken, turkey, bison, beef, wild salmon or eggs) at every meal with a vegetable. Save fruit for sugar cravings.

I want to lose 9 pounds in one month! Help please? -

So far I ve lost 6 pounds on my diet, now all I need is nine more in one month.Anyway for consistent weight loss? Tips? Should I count calories? It seems if I cut 1000 calories out a day I do NOT lose 2 pounds of fat weekly =[Help! Thanks.

If u want to lose weight start exercising like jogging, cycling, swimming, skipping and cut sugar and carbs from ur diet as its equally important, its as simple as that.If u do this regularly there is no reason that u will not lose weight unless u have any medical problem.I lost 2 kgs in 15 days though i was not at all fat and i used to do jogging only for 20 minutes daily.Do these exercises (called 8 minute workouts on youtube) regularly and correctly and u will see the results.http://www.youtube.com/results?search_quhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ssby1uuhyhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dnbhn7ysshttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ulifn-31b

Yes these exercises do work, i have tried it personally. But u have to be consistent.Good Luck Report Abuse

1 pound of fat is equal to 3500 calories. So, in that theory you have to cut 3500 calories that you don t use normally just to lose one pound.I was searching diet questions and answers on yahoo because I recently caught up with a friend who use to be really big. She has been on this 11 day diet and I was amazed when i saw her because she had lost so much weight. I ve been looking into it.http://www.fatloss4idiots.com/She s suppose to get me her diet plan (because they want you to spend $39 on a membership). If you want I can forward what she gives me to you whenever i get it. :)

i think u should jog around run around like a mile everyday or u can run two miles if u want or u can talk a long walk ok????IIu smiles

I m trying to lose weight too and it s sooo hard. My aunt is using a weight loss product and it s really working for her. I m gonna try it and I recommend you try it too. Check their website at http://www.myldirect.info , my aunt got a free trial and paid only 4.95$ shipping and handling.

eat less, cut sugar out and exercise with clock and not quantity.spend energy for one hour a little faster than the rate of absorption from food to burn fat. no eating between meals and watching tv. sugar is easily absorbed and can not beaten by exercise spending energy. walking one hour ( not the distance) leisurely will burn 500 kcal so walk 2 hours daily. normal food is 3500 kcal and body needs only about 2500 so do your best and read more here http://looseweightfree.blogspot.com

Do fasting.

jenny crag. or just excersise can help to:)

I used to have serious over weight problem for years and I was the kind of people quite easily get sick tired. Thank god, once I met a new friend in a family gathering and he told me a very good site that I later found so helpful. The site taught me great workouts and diet tips and showed me what I had been doing wrong to address my over weight problem... Here is the good thing and you might wanna to check out more. Good luck!http://overweight.goodbyebellyfat.com/

Exercise.Cut out breads, pastas and sodas.Drink a full glass of water before each meal.Good luck.

Weight Loss Dilemma? -

Hellooo. I ve got a small potbelly, and I really hate it. My arms, legs, face and etc. are really well proportioned and toned, but my stupid stubborn stomach is always there. I m even getting into a habit of sucking in at school and stuff. So these are my questions:1. What are excersises I can do without equiptment to get rid of the excess stomach fat?2. I used to eat a LOT, and now I m trying to eat more in moderation, but when I see my favorite foods, it s really hard to not eat them! Help me get over them?3. What are some really good overall weight loss tips?

Excercises you can do to get rif of your tummy:1. Do 30 situps in the morning and before you go to bed.2. crunches - but your legs up at a 90 degree angle and bend at your knees. Cross your arms over your chest and lift your torso up from the abdominals. Hold for three seconds. Try for 3 sets of 15 and work your way up to 4 sets of 50.3. leg lifts - lay flat on the ground, feet together, hands under your glutes. Lift your legs six inches of the ground, hold for a few seconds, bring legs back down without touching the ground and then repeat. Try for three sets of twenty. If you really want a flat stomach then in any free time you have like while watching tv or something just do situps...you ll start seeing results in a fe days. Also, lay off the carbs because the more carbs you eat, the more water your body stores (usually around your stomach making you look bloated adding to the potbelly). To make it easier to not eat the foods you love are get rid of all those chip bags or split them into little baggies with the number of chips/ other junky food it says for a serving size. That way if you MUST have it you can take one baggie instead of the whole bag and be less tempted to eat more. Stuck up on dried fruits if you have the need for something sweet and eat as many fresh veggies as you want! Once you get into the habbit of eating healthy it will be easier to stick with it!Lastly, Walk, Walk, Walk!!!! running and walking is really good for overall weight loss!! I would suggest running but you may want to work your way up to that and start of with brisk walking....keep in mind, you need to walk for fifty minutes to get the equivelant of a twenty minute run. Jump roping and other cardio activities are really good for over all weight loss as well!Hope I helped =] Good luck!

..EXERCISE!.......drink lots of water, ..sit ups - crunches....

Weight training, crunches, any movements that strengthen your core. Avoid foods and drinks that cause water retention such as soda. Cut out excess fat to help lose those last few pounds.

cardio and dont eat alot of salty foods

Do roll ups or some other pilates moves. But roll ups are good. They are equivalent to about 15 sit ups, but feel so much easier. Also, crunches and sit ups can hurt your neck, these won t. You can look up how to do them on google.Or, you can lie on your back on the floor, stretch your legs out so they are straight, keep them together and lower them towards the floor, as much as you can. Stay like this for a while, it helps your abs

1. Crunches, they build muscle which will burn fat in your tum tum. Oh and cardio exercises such as treadmilling, etc.2. When you have a sugary craving, go for fruit or low calorie sweets.3. Eat smaller meals 3 times a day, do a lot of cardio exercises.

do lots and lots of crunches

It can be very simple. Brisk walk daily for atleast 45 mins and you can forget about all other excercises. Have your dinner atleast 2.5 hrs before going to bed. Drink warm water in between lke 3-4 cups whenever you get a chance. This will certainly help and its so easy. Also, this is something that worked for me very well. Try to pull your stomach in. I use to have this tummy popping out and my mom always hit me whenever she saw my tummy out and would ask me to pull it in. It was hard but with few months of constant trying to push it in , now its been 7 yrs I am out of this problem. But the idea is to push it in all the time, specially when walking and sitting and doing household work.

STOP EATING MEAT- ITS HORRIBLE FOR YOU!your body wasn t made to process other animals- it adds POUNDS that you can t get rid of.if you are die hard serious about this, you should be eating salads, fruits, and water all day. No bread, dairy, or nuts.Drinking Vinegar actually helps you lose weight- it speeds up your metabolism, and exercise is a major part of losing weight- note: you cannot lose weight without cardioyou should be running and doing crunches each day, try dancing too! even just dancing around your room burns a lot of caloriesthere are a million things you could do.

You should do more cardio, along with a good diet low in fat. You can do all the crunches in the world and you still wont have a six pack if you have fat around it. You can also check out bodybuilding.com they have alot of article about burning the fat around the stomach area.

you need to retrain yourself to crave the right foods....this is easily done with taking Superfoods,Probiotics, and enzymes. Chances are, you need to do a Parasite cleanse. We all have them, and they show up as visceral fat (belly fat). Pure water, and lots of it helps...would be best if it were restructured water though...good luck.

You should really just go on the treadmill and do as many crunches as it takes to get to the weight you want to be at. Dont starve yourself or anything just cut on the foods that can be a problem when your trying to loose that weight.

Weight Loss Advice Please? -

Any weight loss tips that work?

try to drink 8-10 glasses a day make sure its cold make a 6-7 week exercising plan be sure to change it up or if you have comcast with the cable box go to demand on the free spot and go to exercise tv

I have lost 30 pounds and ignoring hunger will make your body hold onto the weight. I am so sick of ppl listening to such crap on supposed weight loss only to not lose weight, then become more desperate and end up with eating disorders. You need to fuel your metabolism constantly, every three hours you eat a small healthy snack with both carbs and protein. Google a healthy eating plan and follow it, then do 30 minutes of exercise a day and sweat. You need to drink water, and eat zero junk food, fat, sugar, soda and refined foods. I did it this way and tried it your way only to have my body plateau, as in stop losing weight.

Aaaarrrggghh!!! Do not ignore hunger!!! Do not take diet pills!!! FFS!!Just adopt a healthy lifestyle.Eat a good healthy diet and excercise a lot!!! The more excercise you do the better! For a healthy diet, you need to be eating small to medium meals regularly. 4 or even 5 times a day. Each meal (apart from breakfast which should preferably be fibre rich), should contain a balanced ammount of carbohydrates for energy, (from potatoes, rice and pasta, etc) protien (from fish, chicken, occassional red meat is fine, soya is good too) and plenty of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants (simple fresh fruit and veg). Eat like this and make sure you are well hydrated (fruit juice is as good as water, any fluid counts, but some fluids have negative effects too, such as alcohol or caffiene rich drinks.)You can have a wide range of healthy meals with this, from Thai, Chinese, Italian, British, Indian, etc. Just make sure each meal contains balanced ammounts of these three. On the bright side too, fresh veg and rice and pasta is a lot cheaper than crappy junk food! This doesn t mean you cant have chocolate or pizza/takeaway/etc, just save them as very occassional treats. The big secret to keeping a healthy weight and staying healthy is EXCERCISE, particularly cardio excercise. Cardio exercise includes any form of excercise such as running/jogging/swimming/cycling etc that gets your heart rate pumping and you sweating and out of breath. It will not only burn calories and reduce your body fat levels, therefore making you slimmer by having less fat on you, but will also improve your resting heart rate and lung function, making you healthier. I cannot understate the importance of cardio excercise. It is this which will basically burn the body fat off you. But you have to remember that once you have shed a bit of fat you have to have a nice toned body underneath the fat to show off. Strength training will help you strengthen and tone your muscles. This is done with the use of weights or by free training. There are essentially (without getting overly complicated) two types of strength excercises based on different types of muscle fibres depending on wether you want to build size, bulk and power, or just tone up the lean muscles an get more muscle endurance.Heavy weights with short reps/sets will build your fast twitch muscle fibres and build size, power and strength. Imagine big guys at the gym lifting heavy weights. But if you use light to medium weights with lots of reps/sets you will excercise your slow twitch muscle fibres, you wont build size, but you will tone up your body and train muscle endurance. This will obviously make you look healthier and more toned, but will also increase your metabolism (as your muscles demand more energy) so you will burn calories faster. These muscles are also excercised a lot with cardio workouts (i.e your leg muscles when running).Your arms for example, will need bicep curls and tricep dips using weights and reps of your choice (heavy - low reps, light - lots of reps) and also shoulder excercises such as holding the weights at your waist and lifting them perpendicular to your side or in front of you, etc etc.Your stomach will need excercises that cover the entire torso. Leg raises for your lower ab wall, crunches, sit ups and planks for your upper and all over ab wall, oblique twists for your sides and superman stretches for your lower back for example. These are just basic examples, there are literally hundreds of excercises, but it is impossible to show you on a site like this, get a trainer at your gym to show you some but remember the basic rules of muscles and weights. As far as excercise goes, you should aim to strike a balance between cardio training and strength training, this way you will build good strong and toned muscle, but also keep your body fat levels down and increase your heart and lung performance, making you much fitter and healthier.Hope this helps.

I do not believe in any faddy diets or exercise plans. I believe in eat smaller portions, drink loads of water before meals, it fills you up, and take an hours exercise each day, whatever, it doesnt have to be in a gym, just walking is fine. Cut out alcohol and sweets and eat fruit instead. Drink pure fruit juice, no fizzy drinks. Eat porridge with honey for breakfast. It keeps you full for hours. Eat soups for lunch. Only eat one potatoe with dinner, bulk up on vegetables. Sounds boring but it works and it is something you can maintain. Good luck. Weights a constant battle for everyone.

There are so many I don t know where to begin. Your diet plays a large roll in your weight. I ll leave you a few links below from ehow and squidoo that have a lot of good info.

Well, I used to look at Men s Fitness magazine and Men s Health. They really help. My diet consists of stuff like:Peanut ButterFishAlmonds, Cashews, ect...Turkey, Chicken breast.. the boneless skinless kind.. lean red meats..Lots of beans and legumes..Eggs.. lots of them.. i usually use about 4 or 5 egg whites and 1 whole egg.. eggs are actually easy to seperate if you crack the egg in your hand and move it around from one hand to another and eventually the yolk will still be there..And fruits, veges... I eat fiber one bars sometimes, and I always drink 2 protein shakes a day.. one after breakfast, one before bed/working out.. those are key for my diet..My advice.. don t eat refined sugars, too much white or other bread unless it s 100% whole grain.. yeah the stuff isn t too good, but the white bread is a lot harder to process than the good stuff.. makes you fatter.. and if you want fiber, fruits and veges.. they also have hidden benefits in them you might not have realized, google certain benefits and you may find yourself eating them more often. It s hard to do, but do it.. They help you feel fuller, longer and are best ate w/ the chicken or turkey or if you re a vegetarian.. tofu/beans..5-7 small meals a day, and a protein shake can be one of them.. low calorie recipes.. man, there are so many.. check out the abs diet online.. you ll find a lot of appetizing meals in there. best of luck, lmk if u need anything else

drink alot of water, cut down on carbs. snacking between meals makes you fat. do jumping jacks, run up and down the stairs, dance.

Here is where you can read a good article called Top Ten Principles and Tips for Weight Loss http://www.weightlossfatloss.us/ten_weigThey are good tips that work.

Exercise is guaranteed if you stick with it.

jumping jacks are a really good form of fitness so try doing 200-300 a day.

Gaining weight after mono.? -

Hey guys. I have a health question. About a year and a half ago I got mono. Ever since, I have been gaining weight like crazy and ended up gaining about 60 pounds in total. I went from being a healthy weight to being obese and this really concerns me. I was checked for a thyroid problem through blood work and it came back negative. However, I still have the symptoms of an underactive thyroid problem. Im always tired too and it feel like I havent completely gotten over mono. I also noticed that ever since mono it has been much harder to lose weight than before mono. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what might be wrong with me? Im also looking for weight loss tips, because I really want to lose the 60 pounds that I gained by this May. Thanks in advance. (:

I don t know that your weight gain is directly related to your mono. I had mono in the spring and promptly lost ten pounds. Keep seeing your doctor, keep telling him there is something wrong. If he doesn t believe you, get a different doctor. Once you have mono, you always have mono. However, after treatment, it goes into a sort of remission. It makes it very easy to get mono again, but you shouldn t have symptoms all the time. I think your tiredness might be due to a different problem. Again, keep seeing doctors until they find out what s wrong.
