Im going on holiday in may and would really like to lose weight especially from my thighs ans a wee bit of my tummy. what are the best exercises to do?

Best exercises to go it cardio...Frog Squats (you can seach youtube for videos)... Then also find something fun like belly dancing.. or dancing period to your favorite songs. Strip tease is good, b/c it helps to tone the muscles

Im kind of in the same positin as you :)Start the gym, got 3-5 times a week.If you make a regular thing of this you will anjoy going and you will keep it up. Take you i-pod/mp3 with you. Exercise as much as you can and stick to healthy food. When you re bored don t reach for the bag of chips but eat the apple in your fridge. And you don t need to play a basketball game or bike ride wherever you go. You can start off just by doing 50 or so jumping jacks inside your house listening to your favourite tunes. Going outside and being active with sports is something I love to do. I m just saying you don t have to be a sport fanatic like me to lose weight. Start with something you re comfortable doing.

Maybe, you lose weight anytime you burn more calories than u consume. Please don t starve yourself. Don t snack. Don t eat salad dressings, dips, extra toppings like butter, cheese, sour cream, and whipped cream. Don t drink soda,Kool-Aid, drink water instead or fruit juice. Drink skim instead of whole milk. Eat yogurt instead of ice cream. Instead of a brownie eat fruit salad. Make sure u still eat a balanced diet, follow the food guide pyramid will help too. You really should exercise though. Walking just 30 min a day helps. If u exercise you will see more weight loss and you can even have a nice toned body. Plus exercise would make you feel better emotionally and physically. I say try both, cut out the unhealthy foods and get a friend to walk with you 30 min a day.

I dont really think that would work unless u have a really high matabolism....plus theres lots of benifits to working out so just think about that when u work out if u really dont like it. Go on a low carb diet thats what i did it works just ask your mom 2 help but a low carb diet means no bread no veg. no fruits diet drinks and alot more oh on a box it says carbs some no. and it shows the serving so if its like say bread wheat bread some says 12 carb for 2 pieces thats a start. all drinks that u drink should have no i mean no carbs at all. excercise will also help along with the carb diet its actually the atkins diet oh no no no chocolate big no no and no candy. so theres a start but u have 2 have confidence oh and sry i cant give u all the no no nos but my hands hurting. when I was your age, I was 5 5 tall and weighed 145 pounds. It wasn t easy, but I ate nothing but small portions (no more than 1 can/meal) of tuna fish and very small amounts of bread, or even soda crackers. I drank water and milk only, and also played soccer and ran every day. I 2 weeks, I lost 15 pounds and kept it off for many years. I understand your weight may be more of a challenge, but you CAN do it! Just be stubborn. At this point, look at hunger as your friend. When you re hungry, it means your body is burning fat! This is what I do:I eliminated one full meal and, since I love to snack, I allow myself to graze in place of the full meal. I found that the full meal was giving me more calories than just snacking on healthy stuff like sunflower kernels, walnuts, popcorn and even chocolate (get a good chocolate, though, like Hershey s...don t buy junk choc with high-fructose corn syrup in it). Also: NO Regular Soda! Try a bunch of different diet sodas if you really like your fizz (I drink Diet Shasta with Splenda or Diet Coke with Splenda). Otherwise, iced tea is cheap and practically calorie free (if you must sweeten it, buy Splenda packets...I know I sound like a company spokeswoman, but I m not, I just love the stuff).I ve lost 20 pounds in two and a half months and my clothes are looser and my double chin is gone! Slow and steady really is the key. I never accepted that until now (I m 35). I wish I d have thought of it at 13!Since I waited so long for this epiphany, my knees are bad, so I ll wait a bit longer to do weight-bearing exercises, but YOU are young enough to start lifting weights and making calorie-hungry muscles. i think that is good plan. is you need help with eat plan i can help. i think japanese food is healthiest. i had personal expierence with american food when i was exchange student there and i gain alot of weight eating american food. but when i went back to japan i lost all the weight without intentional try to lose weight. i lost it all just by eating japanese food again. the secrect is not only food we eat but we serve everything on small plate and bowl. everything is on seperate bowl or plate and serve in very small portion. and eat with chopstick to make eat slower. for breakfast i usually eat small bowl of steam rice, small bowl of miso soup and green tea. lunch is origiri (rice ball) rice ball is just steam rice with either tuna or salmon in middle and is shaped in triangle or ovaldinner is smoked salmon top with teriyaki sauce small bowl steam rice and some type vegetable. and always drink green tea with meals.meals are different every day for me this is just one day. if need more recipe just email. hope this help :) and good luck!! ^_^

Well, you really sound like your weight is good already but if you are looking to lose more I would avoid any of the fad/extreme diets and diet pills. Half don t work and besides...the minute you quit those the weight comes right back! Drink lots of water! You d be surprised at the weight you lose by replacing sodas and other drinks with water! Yep, you can still have bacon for breakfast and you could also cut your carbs (not all but some). If you do that make sure you re getting plenty of protein to keep your energy up. If you really already play 2 hours of tennis for 6 days a week and jog for 1 hour for 5 days a week... then you have to eat enough.. to stay alive.. you need food for athletes...if you do extreme sports you need to eat the right stuff...otherwise you will faint..do anthing you enjoy... Swimming is good for burning calories if one does it long enough and on a regular basis... so does dancing... the treadmill is no good...I went 10 miles every day on it... I ate a normal amount of food.. no junk.. but no real diet either...I lost 1080 calories per day on the treadmill but nothing on the scales..Not one pound.. I would do dancing... that gives a slim body... so does swimming.. and if you really play vigorous tennis for 6 days a week.. and jog you will definitely burn a lot of calories...I hope you like tennis and jogging, because I would not like to have to do that.. but if you like... do it...and you need to eat...lean meats, vegetables, salads, fruit, breakfast cereal would be better than bacon and eggs for breakfast.. but you can do that on occasion.. to have bacon, eggs and toast every day.. that is not hear healhty.. so it would be better to eat a low sugar or zero sugar, no transfat cereal and some fresh fruit for breakfast and lots of water to drink. and once a week bacon and eggs for breakfast. xxx

Exercise, Exercise. Keep running! Instead of that bacon eat a huge bowl of cereal in the morning. Then have a cup of coffee...for lunch try to have soup...campells are good then just snack after that on fruits or maybe pretzels...and have a huge dinner by 5pm and don t eat anything till the next day in the morning.
