Im really concerned about a friend shes been gaining a lot of weight recently weight loss tips? -

My friend has gained a lot of weight recently she is 12 and weighs like 59kg and is in need of help but is too embarased to see a doctor can ou please tell me what i can do to help her without her having to go to the doctor?

Well she could use resistance exercises to build muscle which in turn makes it easier to lose fat. I suggest a combination of resistance exercises and cardio to help your friend get into shape. With resistance exercises you could either use weights or body weight exercises. Assuming you or your friend don t have weights use body weight exercises. 4 sets of 12 repetitions for each exercise of push ups, squats, crunches and as many pull-ups and chin-ups as she could manage. Most people could only do 1 pull-up. Make sure that with the last rep she s struggling. INTENSITY is more important than VOLUME of exercises. This should be done 3 days a week, preferrably Monday, Wednesday and Friday for no more than 1 hour. With cardio, HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) is currenty the BEST way to burn off fat. Long slow cardio is the least effective and can sometimes be harmful if taken too far.HIIT: 2 minutes walking and 30 seconds sprinting. This becomes 1 cycle. Complete 4 cycles lasting 10 minutes. Every other week add 1 more cycle until you reach 8 cycles of walking and running. This should be done on the days you don t do resistance exercises and should last between 10-30 minutes.Nutrition is also important. She should eat 4-6 small healthy meals instead of 3 large meals. Get her to limit her junk food intake but also have an off day so that she wouldn t crave for some junk food. Completely eliminating all junk food will only lead her to quit. Plenty of water and 8 hours of sleep. If she follows all this and does it for @ least 3 months she ll hopefully be more happy. I could also send you an e-book on some healthy recipes if you re keen. Email me for your e-book @ skilled_methodz@hotmail.comThis is lengthy I know but it contains everything you need. Hope this helps :)

Well, if you really want to help her, you should suggest workouts for her. Try planning what kind of exercises would help out with her problem areas and set a workout for her that she should strictly follow. And help her LAY OFF the junk/fatty food. Tell her to eat more veggies, fruit, and keep a healthy diet! But absolutely nothing like starving her, or making her throw up her food! those are bad disorders! Also, it helps to eat dinner before six, you burn off more calories that way.

1. dont bank on the words fast , easy , simple quick ....to stay safe, you shoudnt lose beyond 3 pounds of fat per week2. start brisk walking 40-60mins a day...get a dog or 2 if you find your walking routine boring..or if you are at a gym, experiment all forms of cardio available and stick to all that you like3. drink only water,100% natural/fresh fruit/veggie juices, lowfat milk and lots of green tea4. severely limit carbs n fat but eat lean proteins and veggies very well..make sure you eat a good breakfast!foods generally that aid fat loss- fruits, oatmeal, milk, raw nuts, fish, beans, veggies, small chunks of dark chocolate and herbal teas.5. do adequate amounts of pilates/yoga/strength training to get the best from your cardio, make slight adjustments to your workout routines every 2 or 3 weeks to avoid plateaus6. be smart when eating out or at events/functions(such as preparing your own meal eating in advance)7. dont trust myths like no food after 7pm ...you have to stay nourished to lose fat,..the best you can do if you are scared to eat is perhaps drink a glass of ice chocolate lowfat milk mixed with a tsp of instant softened oatmeal... 8. Always push yourself n never give up!but get enough rest too...Stay focused on your goal and God bless you...

Hi,I ve tried so many different diets in the last 10 years that I can say now, they don t work!A few months ago, I came across a great product for weight loss (it s actually a colon cleanse) and like many others I was skeptical about it. But I really wanted to lose weight and I tried it (it s 100% natural). The results were excellent. I lost about 20 pounds in 2 months with this detox. That s why I recommend you check this product at http://www.thin-quick.us where they have a free trial and you only pay $4.95 shipping and handling.Good luck!

Keep your protein intake high and reduce your carb intake. Cardio will definitely help.

Here are fast tips that can change an over-weight s life:First: Fast weight loss composes of a multi-faceted technique that consists mindset, exercise, and in other cases, diet supplements. Begin by learning a diet food plan that can easily be accustomed with. Incorporate an exercise plan that allows even at least fifteen minutes a day like brisk walking, running, swimming, and dancing.Second: Set realistic approaches. The ability to focus and have proper mindset enables someone on a diet to quickly lose those extra pounds. With discipline and proper mind set, a dieter will never be discouraged and lose focus.

well my boyfriend just constantly watched what he ate. for breakfast he would eat an orange, he ran a lot, and before duals if he needed to loose some water weight he would spit as a last resort. it drove me nuts...but it worked.

Can someone help me with diet and weight loss tips? -

I am starting my diet and weight loss tomorrow. but I really want to detox my body for the 1st few days...I got rid of all the junk in my house and bought fruit, veggies, lettuce, cottage cheese, lean turkey meat and chicken...SO for the first few days like Monday - Wednesday should I just eat fruit to clean my system out????Any advice???Thanks!NOOO SPAMM PLEASE I WILL JUST REPORT YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!SO

Best thing is to think about increasing your water intake to get rid of toxins. Drink some green tea or herbal tea as well.Have a salad with some white meat and snack on fruit. Try and spread your three meals a day to about six times a day to help keep your blood sugar and metabolism high.If you eat just fruit and veggies you may find you will have stomach problems and you will be on the loo alot.. do it gradually.Have a handful of nuts/ seeds and dried fruit as a snack..keeps the protein levels up that will make you feel fuller for longer. Only a small handful mind as calories can be too high if you go beyond that.Dont try and rush your change too quickly as you may find that you crave the sugar and junk you have just got rid of. And dont be too hard on yourself if you find you falter.. just think of all those benefits of changing your eating habits foremost.

Weight loss tips.I am a personal trainer who has been teaching people about nutrition and weight management through my training sessions and have decided to share some basic weight loss tip with those who are struggling or finding their diet boring.1. You must have breakfast. This meal is the single most important meal of the day. It breaks the fast that your body has been on for the last 6-9 hours you ve been sleeping. People who eat breakfast have also shown that they manage their weight better.2. Drink plenty of water! Drink 1-2 litres a day at first then work up to 2-3 litres a day after a week or two. Your body will get used to drinking this amount after a while and the frequent trips to the toilet will lessen in time.3. Eat regularly! You should manage your eating pattern and strive to eat every 3 hours. This helps your body to fight off cravings, gives your body a smoother energy level throughout the day, will help you eat less at meal times and will keep your hunger at bay.4. Aim to have 5 meals a day. Breakfast, small snack mid morning, Lunch, small snack mid afternoon, evening meal no later then 19.00 if possible.5. Get some exercise! Eating healthily will make you lose weight but you will lose more and feel better by doing some exercise. The benefits of exercising are too numerous for this article but believe me when I say that 30 minutes a day, 3 times a week, just for starters, will work wonders for your body.6. Get enough sleep! This one is a must when exercising. The body grows and repairs during sleep but also adapts to changes in eating habits too. Your metabolism re-adjusts to the new nutritional intake you are feeding it and over time becomes accustomed to it and adapts accordingly. 8 hours a night is the norm.7. Watch your carbohydrates! Fat is the bad guy in most cultures but it s the carbohydrates that most people need to watch. Carbs give us energy and if we eat to much carbs it gets turned into fat if we don t burn them off. The body slows down during the late afternoon and evening so eating tons of potatoes, rice, pasta or pastry type products at this time is not really a good idea.8. Keep a food diary if you have time. This will help you look back at what worked, what foods you ate, what weight you were when you started and is useful for learning where to go next with you weight goals.9. Don t calorie count. You don t need to! It takes too long and can get frustrating! Just go by portion size. Don t allow one food to touch another on the plate and this should be ideal. You will already be in calorie deficit but drinking water between your meals will help keep hunger under control.10. Enjoy the various healthy foods available. Don t be afraid to use recipes and fresh ideas when cooking. Allow a cheat meal after the first 6-8 weeks of your new healthy nutrition regime. As long as it s gradual and once in a while (no more than twice a week) you ll continue to lose weight and also notice a difference in your body when eating non healthy food.11.Try Yoga best for weight loss12.Put your image in mind smart
