Any weight loss tips? -

So like I am 5 10 tall and 180-185lbs, I would like to get down to about 150lbs (though I am open to suggestions.)Anyway any suggestions for loosing weight, or like how long you think it will take to get to a good healthy weight.

How do you lose 2 pounds in a day? -

lol im kinda serious about this. I just set myself a goal of lose two pounds a week(tracking every sunday aft) and I was wondering what are some quick weight loss tips. Just for today and tmmrw though, ive learned my lesson :s thanks

2 pounds a day is unhealthy. 10lbs a month is much better which means your losing the weight gradually, which is what you want to do, and you will have a much better chance of keeping the weight off long term. My best weight loss tip for you is trying learning a new sport, like tennis. If you become good at it you can burn one thousand calories in 2 hours of strenuous singles play.

if you lose 2lbs in a day the chances are that its only going to be water weight, youll gain it back quicker and easier than you got rid of it.

you have to burn 3500 calories to loose a pound, whether that means you burn the extra calories or eat lessso i would suggest going to the gym all day.. haha

First and foremost. I was crushed yesterday when I came across a page titled Ana lover for life and I could not figure out what it was talking about, then I realized what it was. This was a page that was supporting the life style of those who are choosing to be anorexic. So I emailed the gal a nineteen year old from New York about my thoughts on the page and how loosing weight is not soley about the calories that you take in over a twenty-four hour peroid and then burn off we eat in order to take in nutients into our bodies and nurish our selves. But in order to help you understand that I will start with the basics.You have to burn 3555 calories in order to lose one pound. But your normal caloric intake should be around 2500-3000 depending on how active you are. So if you are say running a good pace for 30 min. do some sit up and go out find some aerobic exersize vidoe that takes 30 min to do get up and do it while others in your house are still sleeping, drink 8 ozs of water and eat within 1 hour of waking up, make sure to include a high protien diet for breakfast so eat your meats at this time. If you are like me and you like to eat suasage, buy it as lean as possible and then make patties out of it either cook it fresh or freeze it in patties for convience and when you cook it press out the grease. If you are a potatoe lover like me and what those hashbrowns, make your own but switch to enova oil it costs more but if you use it sparingly in small portions it will last you. Enova is made so that less is stored in the body as fat. You should try to include an apple or a banana with your breakfast everyday and cut out drinking soda and all of those sweets. We i was aournd 14 or 15 I weighted a lot like 170 or 80 and i used skim milk, fat free everything, no sugars, If it baked i would eat it in moderation and in not just talking about baked potatoes I mean crackers and chips. I would run a lot I picked a time of day that I would go and run and I picked out a route and told my siblings where i was running incase something happends. I would fun for ten min straight a fast pace jog if you will and then i would slow it down and walk a fast pace for ONE min only. If I was good i exersized and ate right at then end of the week I would allow myself to have a candy bar. I had to change everything about my life it is about a lifestyle change and it is up to you. You make the choices that will let you get where you wanna go with weight loss. get a nutition book and read it for a guide get to understand what is good and what is bad for you. Trans fats are fats that your body cannot process they are man made and any product that say partially or just hydrogentated on them are processed by humans and contain fats that our cannot process. We take the good fat and use them to make other produces and in this process we create a bad byproduct. Understand that red meat like hamburger and pork and deer have cholesterol in them and the more of these that you eat the worse off your cholesterol is gonna be. And the most important I think off all of the advise i have to give is inderstand how your body uses fat for energy

I wanted to get super lean for a cruise I was going on last winter, and so about 5 months in advance I started the Atkins diet and hit the gym and swam laps a few evenings a week. I went from 165lbs to 120 in 5 months, and it was EASY. I ate big, filling meals that I enjoyed, and did minimal exercise. Super easy. Keep it under 15 net carbs a day and the weight will melt off.

Stop drinking soda, and only drink water. I did this for a while and it really helped my body. You could stop eating snacks, as well.

don t eat fatty/sugary foods, no snacking in between meals, a good exercise programme, at least 30 minutes per day...drink plenty of water. My son lost 3.5kg in a week doing that...still eating good meals, just no fats or sugars...

I eliminated fatty and sugary foods, and ate a lot of salad and special k cereal. I lost 7 lbs my first week and then another 6 the week after that. I got from 152 to about 135- ish right now. hope this helps

well running is good for weight loss. gnc s mega men sport is just a vitamin. a pretty good vitamin, but its not a weight loss supplement. but its good that youre taking a multi-vitamin.just watch what you eat. eat 4 to 5 small meals per day. try to cut out the sugars..soda, candy, pie, etc. and drink alot of water. i try to drink a gallon or more per day.

well eating healthy always helps...cuz u when u eat helathy u get vitamins fibers and calcium and u feel so energizedtrust me jus try this for one day only eat veggies and fruits and ull see hhow active u r...and at the end of the day u can reward urself with a candy ...jus keep the amount of food u eat at a minimum..the first two days r hard but after 3 days ull get used to it..and itll eventually be ur lifestyle~~hope i helped~~good luck sexiiii :]

my son is 11 and is overweight so we went to a nutritionist for help. She told him to commit to 60 minutes of activity a day. To increase his vegetables. One way to eat meals is to have half of your plate vegetables for lunch and dinner and to eat them first to fill you up better. to not have second helpings of anything. snack on high fiber items and 2 percent milk because they will fill you up quicker. try not to snack after 8 pm and to not eat in front of the tv because that will cause you to eat more. i know all of these things are hard but if you teach yourself good eating habits then you will not have weight problems all of your life. My son has been trying all this but it has been hard for him. I wish both of you good luck and success with it.

eating good on its own wont cut it you HAVE to do cardio, no workarounds or short cuts, just force yourself to do it... and of course keep up the healthy eating

a very basic way to lose weight is hit the tred mills or any cardio machines. Cardio also srengthens your ab uscles and then if you want abs you can also work on them but cardio is very important. As of a diet im not sure exactly what you are looking for. You can stop eating alot of sugar (i don t know how much sugar you eat) you can eat whole weat bread, pasta all that stuff. You don;t necessarly have to eat less. You can eat actually more but not as much portions which is actually for some people better. 5 meals for example you have breakfast then three hours later a little snack then lunch then another 3 hours later you have another little snack and then you have supper. Water is very important they say 8 glasses a day. This is untrue you drink as much as you can. Stop eating fast foods 100% if you do eat alot of that. even if its from time to time don t eat fast food at all. Well i hope this is somewhat helpfull good luck.

hi, from experience really just portion control and good exercise is all you need! for being 13 if your a girl stay between 1400-1600 calories a day if your a boy stay between 1600-1800 calories a day but make sure you exercise daily! you should try to be losing around as many calories that you take in. it will be hard but there will always be friends and family by your side =)

I think you should limit your diet to only healthy foods , no junk food.and try to exercise everyday for at least half an hour.i do not think that weight loss pills are good, they have many side affects on the body. but your entitled to your own decisions. good luck hope this helped
