How to lose weight fast for a teen? -

I am 15 and weigh around 265 pounds and I m 6 1 1/2 about 6 2. How can I lose weight easily, and I am a guy. I weighed 280 a month ago and all I did was quit all of my soda and sugar but I haven t lost a lot since then.

You need to exercise. Ideally, an hour a day (not all at once). If you can do 30 minutes in the morning and then 30 minutes before supper, at a decent intensity, you ll see more weight come off. Even just going for a nice brisk walk 2 times a day will make a big difference.Check your fruit and vegetable consumption to the food pyramid--are you getting enough? If not, then you probably have other foods replacing them. Focus on getting the proper amount of fruits and vegetables and you ll get less of the other foods you are eating too much of.How about greasy foods? Do you eat a lot of those? Those would be another thing to eliminate that would help you lose weight easily.

A great way to lose weight is to exercise. Just walkin or joggin for 30-45 min a day for 3-5 times a week can help. Also cutting back on eating at fast food restaurants helps. Eat 6 small meals a day instead of 1 or 2 big meals. But most definantly get into some kind of routine with strength building because you want to burn the fat so you can have muscles. if you dont exercies you will just be flabby

You are quite overweight indeed. To lose such excessive weight, I don t recommend you to do any exercises for the moment as they would hurt your knees especially exercises like jogging, jumping rod, basket ball...etc that anythings involved with jumping somehow. Instead, I would recommend you to diet properly at this stage and that would get you much faster effect and safe (unless you really diet properly). If possible, get someone in your family to give you alongside support while you dieting. You need persistence a bit in the early stage. Let them remind you to stay in proper dietings. Don t worry too much as dieting could be fun if you do it in the right way. :)Recently I have just finished helping my teen daughter to lose weight. I have posted up her weight loss experience in my blog. If you like to know more how she did that, do feel free to read it there. Here is the link:http://hoogoodies.wordpress.com/2008/07/24/we-lose-weight-this-wayGood luck!

thats good you dont drink soda.stick to diet!. haha oh and dont eat fast food. or crappy junk food.!

Weight loss is an overall process and there are no magic answers. Pay no attention to weight loss supplements and pills and all the latest fads. You need to think about many factors but most of them are related to issues we ve known about for a very long time. There are many sensible things you can do that will make a tremendous difference over the long term if you need to lose weight. It can be done in a healthy way. This is what has worked for me.Keeping a food journal really does help. It will give you a much better sense of how much you are eating, and when, and why.Make a few additional small changes - walk everywhere, always use stairs instead of elevators, walk on escalators, get up and move around at least once an hour if your work or your life in general is sedentary, walk every day, use a pedometer. Walking 10,000 steps a day is a really good idea. Build up to a long brisk walk everyday, or most days. Be more active and watch less TV and spend less time on the computer. Buy one piece of exercise equipment to have at home and be strict with yourself about using it. Sometimes you can find mini-steppers or exercise bikes at second hand stores and thrift stores for just a few dollars.Start a weight lifting routine. Join a gym. Possibly you can find one that has someone who specializes in weight lifting programs for beginners. Weight lifting will increase your metabolism as well as improve posture and appearance overall. Even if you can t get to the gym you can work out at home using things around the house. Invest in a good weight training book. The Dummies series actually has a good one. In terms of diet, cut out or reduce things like junk food, pop, fat, fast food. Eat more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meat, fish. Particularly if you choose a vegetarian lifestyle include natural peanut butter, hummus, dried fruit and nuts. Pay close attention to getting the nutrients your body needs to be healthy. Make your portion sizes smaller. Use a smaller plate - in our society we have become accustomed to thinking that we need a large plate of food at every meal, and we don t. About quarter of your plate of food should be protein and at least half of it should be veggies. Learn to count calories. At your current weight and activity level, you may possibly need about 2000 calories or more to maintain your current weight. So you will lose weight at a reasonable and healthy rate if you cut back to about 1600 or 1700 calories a day. Eat small amounts frequently, rather than three large meals. Never skip breakfast. Include some protein in your breakfast. It will help get you through the day.Drink plenty of water, at least 8 big glasses of water a day, and more if it is very hot, if you sweat a lot, or if you are exercising intensely, and eliminate fruit juices. Fruit juices have too many calories, so get your vitamins from fresh fruit, not the juice. You will begin to see changes in your body. Vary your routines. Don t eat the same number of calories every day (vary your calories from 1400 a day to 1900 or 2000 some days), eat a variety of foods, and do different kinds and amounts of exercise. You will lose weight much more efficiently if you mix things up from time to time so that your body doesn t adjust to any one routine. An area that many people overlook is getting enough sleep. You are much more likely to overeat or to binge eat if you are tired and not well rested, so get enough sleep.Check out websites about nutrition, exercise, weight training, etc. Here are a few helpful links.http://www.nutrawatch.com/http://www.caloriesperhour.com/http://www.helpguide.org/life/healthy_eahttp://www.wikihow.com/Lose-Weight-the-Hhttp://weightloss.about.com/cs/fitness/ahttp://www.webmd.com/fitness-exercise/fe

i have a pool party coming up in a week and i wanted to know a fast way to lose weight

3 Super Diet Tips to Lose Weight Fast1) You have to have some healthy fats with most of your meals. This is very important if you want to maintain the correct fat burning, muscle building hormone levels. Eating enough healthy fats will also help you to keep your appetite in check. The best source of good fats are seeds, egg yolks (organic free range), raw nuts, avocado, coconut oil and extra virgin olive oil (has the highest antioxidant of all olive oils)Top Tip - eat a handful of raw nuts or mixed nuts almonds, walnuts, pecans (all healthy choices) three times daily, about half an hour before meals. This will damper your appetite and provide your body with fiber, protein and healthy fat. This will help you to eat less calories at meal times and give you a great boost of nutrition because of the high density of nutrients in most nuts.2) You should always try to eat a quality, high protein with each meal or snack. These would include grass-fed meats, raw dairy, nuts and beans will suppress your appetite and will help you to easily control your calorie intake. These quality proteins will help you to build lean muscle, especially if you have a regular, hard work out. Your metabolism will be much higher from the lean muscle you are building up.When you eat enough protein with your meals it will also help your body control blood sugar and insulin levels by slowing down the breakdown of undigested carbohydrates.3) I don t believe that a very low carb diet can be maintained, however, most people struggle to lose weight all their lives because of daily overeating excessively processed carbohydrates like refined sugars and refined grain starches.

Just eat less, but eat healthy, and move more.
