How do you lose weight fast and easy? -

I am 14 and this summer I want to lose weight before school starts back. Does anyone know how to lose weight fast and easy?

Fast, yes! Easy, No! Have you ever heard of an easy way to lose weight that was healthy? there are a lot of easy ways to lose weight but i dont know of any that are even close to being healthy. i was 205 pounds about two years ago. it took me over a year to lose 25 lbs. but took me only 4 months to lose rest of the 45 lbs. i was getting married so had to do it fast but still did not want to do anything unhealthy because i DO want kids in the future and healthy ones at that. I joined a diet program in canada. its been a year since i ve been married and have been eating completely normal foods, have no time to exercise but only put on 5lbs. since then due to my own negligence. a similar program is also available in new york. you can visit www.livelighteatright.com to get more info. so many of my family and friends are doing this diet and losing weight left and right. if you live in ny, nj area maybe its something of your use.

tell me how you end p handling this plz... email melol

No such thing as losing weight fast and easy. Diet and exercise. Cut out the junk food, breads and sugars and work out and it will go away.

How to lose weight??? -

I love Dr Phil for one reason and here it isHe continually asks his guests one simple question: How s it working for you? Success in anything comes from FINDING WHAT WORKS then DOING WHAT WORKS.I am going to reveal to you the Secret Weight Loss Formula that Celebrity personal trainer dont want you to know about. Before I reveal the secret, first I need to explain to you that there is process that your body goes through to burn body fat. So how does your body burn fat? That process is the same for every human being. I will outline the steps and then show you how you can easily apply some fundamental rules to allow your body to burn the maximum amount of fat with less effort and minimum time. Once you understand that simple process, you can easily see why you are not getting the results that you want. Even bigger, you will finally see that getting that dream body is getting so much closer to reality that you will be extremely motivated to get started as soon as you can.How does your body release the fat from the cells? Before you can turn your body into a fat burning machine, here what needs to happen: your body fat need to be released from the fat cells. You can accomplish this step successfully with your nutrition program. Here are some specific tips that you can apply right away to achieve that.1.Eat 4-6 small, frequent meals and never skip meals.2.Include small amounts of good fats.3.Eat natural foods; avoid processed refined foods4.Eat lean proteins with each meal.5.Eat more complex carbs, fruits vegetables. The most misunderstood weight loss strategy.Releasing fat from the fat cells is not the end of it; actually, it is just the beginning. Because the fat needs to be transported from the fat cells to your muscles so it can be burned there. This is done through your blood and the cardiovascular system is responsible for that. The more effective is that system, the more effective your body will become at burning fat. You can improve your cardio vascular system by doing so cardio training. However, dont go out yet and spend 1 hour on the treadmill because you probably not going to be doing too much good like that. The reason is excessive cardio combined with a restrictive diet burns fat but mostly muscle tissue. That is not a good thing at all, because muscle tissue is where you burn the fat and if you are burning away muscle tissue, you are burning your ability to burn more fat in the future (weight loss plateau). You just dont cut the hand that feed you. So cardio burns fat and it can also burn muscle tissue, this is a huge dilemma. Damn if you do, damn if you dont. But wait there is a solution to thatYou need to do some MODERATE cardio training. The key word here is moderate. Doing too much cardio can be detrimental and I am sure you have seen those people that are doing cardio on a daily basis and still not getting anywhere. The result is a low metabolism. Low metabolism means, your body fat is not going anywhere, anytime soon. Here is what you need to do:1.Do some moderate cardio training; the key word here is moderate2.Never diet but consume little fewer calories that you will burn (No starvation diets, Please...)The world most efficient fat burner available in the market is FREE and is already available to you. Before I reveal to you how personal trainer get those celebrities in the best shape of their life in such short period there is one more thing that I want you to understand. Because it is very important. Weight loss marketers always claim that they have the magic fat burner that will melt your fat away. The problem is that they have a new one coming out every year, so I wonder if the one from last year was so effective, why we need a new one. There is only one thing that actually burn body fat is you already have it. It does not come in a bottle or a special recipe. Body fat can only be burned inside of your muscle tissue. I repeat Body fat can only be burn in your muscle tissue. This is the most important concept for you to grasp.Your muscle tissue is your best friend when it comes to burn body fat. You need to preserve muscle tissues in order to keep losing weight. Most people go on a starvation diet combined a lot of cardio to lose weight. At first it may seems like this is working because they are losing scale weight. However, scale weight does not tell you if weight loss is from fat, water or muscle tissue. Losing fat is what you are after, Losing water is only temporary, Losing muscle will simply lower your metabolism and put you in the Yo-Yo dieting bandwagon. To maintain muscle tissues you need to:1.Do some resistance training. (This is not optional, it is mandatory)The secretNow that you understand the whole fat burning process, I am going to reveal to you what personal trainers do to get those amazing transformations. The strategy is to combine all the steps that I outlined so the body works as a unit. The process is release the fat, transport the fat and then burn the fat. All they do is combined a nutrition program, along with some MODERATE cardio program and they maintain muscle mass with resistance training. Everything is combined with one goal in mind: Turning your body into an Automatic fat burning machine. It is that easy.Don t like the results you have been getting? Then CHANGE YOUR STRATEGY.How do you change your strategy? How do you find one that works? DO NOT continue doing something just because THEY say it s the way things should be done. Allow yourself to choose the solution that will work for you, regardless of what it may be. The only way for you to know who is right is to measure your progress and ACTUALLY track your results.CHANGE IS HARD, but it s also worth it. Not getting results makes change EXTREMELY HARD.Get support from friends, family or a coach. Losing weight is not as hard at it seems once you know what to do. No matter how you slice it, diet is a dirty word. It smacks of deprivation and hunger pangs. To overcome the pain, you need a plan.So WebMD asked the experts for advice, and put together their quick tips on how to get your weight lossgoing.1. Know Your Weight Loss GoalsConsider how much you need to lose before you decide how to do it, recommends Brian C. Jacobson, MD, MPH, assistant professor of medicine and a gastroenterologist at Boston University Medical Center in Massachusetts.Very overweight or obese. For someone obese, I refer them to our weight loss center, says Jacobson, who says people with a lot of weight to lose can probably benefit from a structured, supervised program. If you re slightly or moderately overweight. I advise controlling portion size, Jacobson says. If you control portion size, you cut calories. To learn correct portion sizes, consult a registered dietitian or take a look at the new food pyramid at MyPyramid.gov.Exercise also has to be part of your plan, Jacobson tells the do-it-yourselfers. But that doesn t necessarily mean joining a gym. Buy a cheap treadmill, he says, and when you re watching TV, hop on and take a walk. Before starting a new exercise regime or weight loss plan, however, remember to talk with your doctor.2. Understand Your Weight Loss PersonalityPersonality plays a role in our attitude towards food, says Thomas R. Przybeck, PhD, assistant professor of psychiatry at Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, who has published on the topic of diet and personality. Know your tendencies and tailor your plan to conquer the unproductive inclinations.Impulsive. If you have a tendency to be impulsive, you might see a pint of Ben Jerry s in the freezer and go for it, Przybeck says. Clearly you are a dieter who needs to remove those temptations.Oblivious. If you tend to not pay attention when you eat -- maybe you re a TV snacker? -- you need to avoid such situations if you want to control portions.Uptight. If you are highly anxious, you will probably have more difficulty, Przybeck says. Those who are anxious, nervous, and depressed might eat to feel better. Tenacious. Certain personalities don t find it that difficult losing weight. If you are highly self-directed, cooperative, and have a lot of stick-to-it-ive-ness, you are going to have an easier time, Przybeck says.Sociable. You tend to monitor your food intake better than others, Przybeck found.3. Double Up: Diet ExerciseWhen her heartburn patients ask which should come first, diet or exercise, Lauren Gerson, MD, MSc, director of the Esophageal and Small Bowel Disorders Center at Stanford University School of Medicine in California, says: jump in and do both. It s a combination of diet and exercise [that will lead to weight loss], she says.4. Make a Firm Weight Loss CommitmentTo be successful, it helps to understand why you want to lose weight. So before you begin a weight loss plan, ask yourself: * Am I ready to do this? * Is my motivation coming from within? * Can I deal with occasional setbacks or lack of progress? * Can I focus on weight loss fully? (If you re in the midst of a job change or other distractions, for example, it might be better to resolve those issues, and then focus on weight loss efforts.)Finally, be sure you re committed to losing weight for yourself -- not because someone else is pressuring you to do so.Then, take things slowly, keep these tips in mind, and you should be on the road to weight loss in no time. If it is your goal to lose weight, do not despair. Weight control isnt impossible, nor does it need to mean deprivation or a boring, repetitious diet, says Dr.?Walter C. Willett. With conscious effort and creativity, most people can successfully control their weight for the long term with an enjoyable but reasonable diet and near daily exercise. A longer, healthier life is definitely worth the effort.A Suggested Healthful Eating Pyramid Sweets Concentrated or processed sweets (rarely; limit to 75 calories a day) Fats Olive oil, nuts, canola oil, avocados (3-5 servings daily; one serving is 1 teaspoon of oil or 2 tablespoons of nuts) Protein and Dairy Beans, fish, lean meat, eggs, low-fat dairy, cheese (3-7 servings daily; one serving is 3?ounces of cooked meat or fish) Carbohydrates Especially whole grainspasta, bread, rice, cereals (4-8 servings daily; one serving is a slice of bread)To lose weight, some have tried these tips:1 Be aware of the calories in what you are eating and drinking. Note: Drinks can be a major source of calories, especially sweetened juices. Alcoholic drinks are also high in calories. And beware of those widely advertised soft drinks. Check the calorie count on the label. You might be shocked.2 Avoid temptation. If chips, chocolates, or cookies are on hand, you will inevitably eat them! Replace them with low-calorie snacks, such as apples, carrots, whole-grain wafers.3 Have a snack or an appetizer before eating a meal. It will take the edge off your appetite and may induce you to eat less.4 Dont eat everything put in front of you. Be selective. Reject what you know will give you too many calories.5 Slow down. Why hurry? Enjoy your meal by noticing what you are eatingthe colors, the flavors, the interaction of foods. Listen to the bodys signals that say, Im full. I dont need any more.6 Stop eating before you feel full.7 Restaurants in some countries are notorious for serving excessive portions. Leave half of your entre behind, or share the plate with someone else.8 Desserts are not essential to complete a meal. It is better to finish off with fruit or another low-calorie item.9 Food manufacturers want you to eat more. Profit is their bottom line. They will try to exploit your weaknesses. Dont be taken in by their clever advertising and pretty pictures. You can say no!

How to lose weight :(? -

im really desperate to loose weight :( like my self esteem is like -350 :( im 13 5 4-5 5 and 132 pounds im assuming i d be lighter in the morning right ? but please help i really need to lose stomach fat :( i feel so sad. when i eat i feel awful. like i shouldn t be eating i know starving yourself doesn t work .. thank you to everyone who commented god bless 3

Eat around 1200 to 1500 calories a day. Stop buying junk food, if its not in the home you can t eat it. Trust me this works, whenever I go with my dad to go grocery shopping I buy some foods I like but I tend to finish the food pretty quickly which wrecks my diet. If you still want to have junk food, try making it healthier junk food such as;-Low fat frozen yogurt instead of full fat ice cream.-80 calorie candy bars instead of those 200 to 400 candy bars.-Water in place of soda/pop, don t go for diet soda/pop because its very bad for you.-Cereal bars instead of candy bars.-Baked chips instead or regular chips.-Mini cakes(those around 100 calories) instead of a regular piece of cake. This way you won t feel to deprived. Since you get those hunger urges, distract your self or drink water. Trust me the drinking water totally works. I drank like 2 to 4 cups of water and I didn t even get those hunger noises for like 4 to 5 hours. It kept me full. Or eat vegetables or fruits, most of them are very low calorie and can keep you full. Don t go for a low fat diet because its not actually fat that makes you gain weight, its actually eating more calories than your body can burn. Walk every day for 30 minutes to an hour daily. Go for a walk with your friends. Walking and talking is a good way to get some exercise.

you re weight seems healthy and average to me. i m 14 and 84 pounds and I wish I could gain some weight. it s really not healthy being under weight and it takes away from your beauty and stuff because your face will just look disgusting like no cheeks idk how to describe it but it just doesnt look healthy. when you re under weight if you re a girl, you ll be like flat chested. your jeans wont fit on your butt and you ll aways have to wear a belt. i buy double 00 s extreme skinny jeans from pacsun and have to always dry them in the dryer before i wear them.

well im trying to loss weight im the same height im 13 145 lbs yea don t starve your self it makes it worst eat little meals a day 4 meals not that big do about 5 sets of 10 of sit ups and jog for 30 minutes

How to lose weight quick? -

I am wanting to drop 50 pounds by March 29th 2009. What would be my best way of going about this? I want to do it in a healthy way but I want to lose it in like 3 months quick. Can anyone help with this?

There are many sensible things you can do that will make a tremendous difference over the long term if you need to lose weight. It can be done in a healthy way. This is what has worked for me.Keeping a food journal really does help. It will give you a much better sense of how much you are eating, and when, and why.Make a few additional small changes - walk everywhere, always use stairs instead of elevators, walk on escalators, get up and move around at least once an hour if your work or your life in general is sedentary, walk every day, use a pedometer. Walking 10,000 steps a day is a really good idea. Build up to a long brisk walk everyday, or most days. Be more active and watch less TV and spend less time on the computer. Buy one piece of exercise equipment to have at home and be strict with yourself about using it. Sometimes you can find mini-steppers or exercise bikes at second hand stores and thrift stores for just a few dollars.Start a weight lifting routine. Join a gym. Possibly you can find one that has someone who specializes in weight lifting programs for beginners. Weight lifting will increase your metabolism as well as improve posture and appearance overall. Even if you can t get to the gym you can work out at home using things around the house. Invest in a good weight training book. The Dummies series actually has a good one. In terms of diet, cut out or reduce things like junk food, pop, fat, fast food. Eat more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meat, fish. Particularly if you choose a vegetarian lifestyle include natural peanut butter, hummus, dried fruit and nuts. Pay close attention to getting the nutrients your body needs to be healthy. Make your portion sizes smaller. Use a smaller plate - in our society we have become accustomed to thinking that we need a large plate of food at every meal, and we don t. About quarter of your plate of food should be protein and at least half of it should be veggies. Learn to count calories. At your current weight and activity level, you may possibly need about 2000 calories or more to maintain your current weight. So you will lose weight at a reasonable and healthy rate if you cut back to about 1600 or 1700 calories a day. Eat small amounts frequently, rather than three large meals. Never skip breakfast. Include some protein in your breakfast. It will help get you through the day.Drink plenty of water, at least 8 big glasses of water a day, and more if it is very hot, if you sweat a lot, or if you are exercising intensely, and eliminate fruit juices. Fruit juices have too many calories, so get your vitamins from fresh fruit, not the juice. You will begin to see changes in your body. This is quite the challenge, and may not be totally healthy. But if you want to do it, here you go...Every pound of fat is 3000 calories. So the amount of calories you burn should exceed the amount you consume by 3000 over the same period of time to lose one pound of fat. Do the simple math daily, but focus more on a weekly and monthly basis, weighing yourself once a week. Remember, that how much you weigh is not the best indicator of health - inches do not correlate to pounds always. Also, get yourself on a solid exercise program, including intervals of running, lifting, and other aerobic activities (basketball, wrestling, mma, cycling, etc.). Swimming is an amazing exercise that is extremely beneficial as well. Sauna training is another good way to lose weight quickly, with much less exertion. Get in the sauna. Sit for ten minutes, do a set of pushups, then stretch for two minutes, then do a set of crunches and stretch for another two. Repeat this process ten times for a workout, and perform it 2-4 times a week on alternating days. That is a good way to lose weight fast.Hope this helps. Good luck, be healthy, and drink tons of water! Eat healthy as well. Vegetables are much better calories than burgers. You should also graze when eating. A good rule of thumb is to never be hungry, and never be full. Good luck!

The healthiest diet, and one of the quickest ways to lose weight is a low-fat vegetarian diet. You need to think about a lifestyle change rather than a temporary diet, because otherwise your weight will yo-yo and you will move your set point higher making it even more difficult to lose weight the next time. My interpretation of a low-fat vegetarian diet is as follows:Avoid:- Meat- Cheese, Milk, Yogurt- Oil, Fat, Butter, Margarine, Avocado, Olive Oil, nuts, and all other oils except one oil tablet per day- Sugar, Refined carbohydrates, White Bread, White Rice, Soda (even diet), honey, and questionable food additivesConsume:+ MultiVitamin and perhaps Calcium and a Flaxseed Oil pill+ Beans+ Brown Rice+ Vegetables+ Fruits+ Whole Grain Bread RollsThe best part of this diet is that you eat when you are hungry and you eat until you feel full. Since the diet is high fiber, you get a full and satisfied feeling very quickly without counting calories. Most people will lose weight very quickly and with only positive side effects. You may feel queasy the first day or two, but after that, your body adjusts and you feel better than you ve felt in years. Dr. Dean Ornish has published scientific studies and references that show that a low-fat vegetarian diet will greatly reduce the incidents of:- Obesity- High Blood Pressure- Heart Disease- Cancers- DiabetesHowever, the reason that you stay on this diet, is how you feel. You can feel a huge improvement in your quality of life. In addition, you should wait about one week, and then start a gradual program of aerobic exercise. Make sure to monitor your heart rate and keep it in an aerobic zone for maximum benefit. Eventually, you may work up to one hour per day, five days per week.In addition, you must get at least 8-9 hours of uninterrupted deep sleep. If not, this sleep deprivation may increase your appetite and ruin your diet. People who have extra pounds are more prone to suffer from sleep apnea that will increase your hunger.By the way, I ve lost 40 pounds on this diet without too much effort and I feel great. For the science behind this diet, I recommend you read any of the books by Dr. Dean Ornish.

When you are losing weight, you should exercise and diet together. If you exercise without dieting, you will get bigger appetite, whichwill lead to increase of weight, or muscle growunderneath the fat layer, and make you bulkier. If you diet withoutexercising, you will become flabby and will have excess skin. Fordiet, go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no foodafter 7 p.m. People achieve marvellous results with it. Depending onyour initial weight, you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. Ifyou don t eat wheat then you don t eat all those sticky, fatty goeycakes, you don t eat junk food, and you don t eat biscuits. But yourdiet is still balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have tocalculate points or to buy special meals or plans. For exercising, start with walking, and then switch to running/jogging. Running is themost efficient and calorie-burn exercise ever. If you are overweight alot, walk first or you may have health complications (heart attack, disjointed bones and so on). Weight lifting is a good means to targetyour problem areas for men and women. It s not necessarily to become abodybuilder or even join a gym - a couple of dumbbells will help youto target your problem areas (stomach, butt, legs, arms, chest).

its very possible first of all, my friend lost 20 kilos in a month and a half. maybe less. she stopped eating after 6.30pm and she focused on heavy meals early in the day. and lighter meals in the afternoon. give it a try. i done it once, stopped eating after 6 and i dropped loads of weight. not that i needed it... thats why i stopped and i m on it again now. it really works.

do exercise..eat lightbut nutritious.. eat more salad

do not eat much.workout.do not eat shortly b4 u go 2 bed.drink lots of cofea

eat low quantity of foodand don t eat after 4:30jog atleast an hour a day

Male exercise, how to lose weight, and build muscle.? -

I am 18 years old, 6 0, and weigh 180. I m not fat, but I do have extra fat on me that I would like gone. I have a ab lounge, (haven t used yet) and I want to get a set of 25 pound dun bells, and a iron gym. I also have a treadmill. My question is, what do I have to do to get rid of the extra fat, and get ab s. And how much of each thing should I being doing per week.

Well the two types of exercises that have shown to maximize fat burning are:A: Moderate to High intensity Weight-liftingB: High Intensity Interval Training cardioFor the weightlifting, what you are describing will only do so much for you. Your body grows accustomed to the same type of exercises (especially bodyweight ones). If possible I would recommend a gym membership or utilizing your school s facility if possible. For the Cardio, HIIT is a routine involving a short period of high intensity cardio followed by a slightly longer rest/low period. Try, on your treadmill, sprinting for one-minute and then walking/jogging for one-two minutes, based on your fitness level. Repeat. Start out slow, as in doing 4-5 cycles and then eventually bump it up to 10+. Research shows that despite low-moderate intensity cardio burning more calories WHILE exercising, the high-intensity burns not only more fat stores, but increases your metabolism far longer and higher following the workout. Some studies have found that utilizing both weightlifting and high-intensity cardio increases metabolic rates for 48 hours.

if your a bit big around the stomach then you will have to burn off the calories before training on the abs. i would suggest jogging for about 30mins slowly increasing the time until you can jog a few miles per day. This will burn off all the fat if you stick with it even after you lose the fat you sure wont put it back on. it is the quickest and cheapest way which works. Also because your already big you dont need to lift heavy weights, stick to light weights a few times per week and try heavy squats once a week this is a all round body conditioner and should work wonders.

Heh!!! I had an ab lounge. I dropped it off at goodwill a few months ago...Getting rid of the extra fat is all about diet. It always is. I know the recommendation is diet AND exerise, but the thing with exercise is that since you burn more, it s also likely to trigger hunger, especially with lots of cardio.Diet shouldn t be a short term thing to lose weight, it s just a healthy eating plan. I think the South Beach Diet book is a great thing to read. Skim it in a bookstore or go to the library.Really, 3 days a week of weight training for about 15-25 minutes is enough to build muscle. Just run through an entire circuit for your whole body. You can get ideas for exercises all over the place and build your own routine.

You gotta find the best workout routine for you and works with your daily and weekly regular routine. You should hang out on bodyu building and workout forums where you can find a lot of tips and discussion about various routines based on what you want to achieve.
